What an inspiration you are ❤ ! I really enjoy your videos. You don't waffle on and you explain the steps clearly. Thank you so much for sharing with us 😁❤
Most all my quilts are no binding quilts, but I do put a sheet between the top and backing....cuz that's how my grandmother made her quilts!! She didn't quilt them, she tied them and so do I.
Forgive me, I’m new to quilting, but 50 years ago helping my granny quilt her quilts, she tied them. My granny called tying quilting too. I just always thought tying was quilting, because it makes sure all 3 layers are attached. Tying is just another form of quilting isnt it?
I love this Sandy. The fabrics really compliment the design of the squares. I live in Brisbane, Australia and light quilts are always good for a cover over the lounge chair or throwing over the bed. They are a nice warmth for cooler summer nights.
Wow i never seen anyone so happy quilting this don’t quilt but seeing you i waould like to learn. Can you show me how please? You made it sound so easy and fun! Thank You 🙏
This fabric and the block pattern is really pretty, I like it. But I learned that it is not called a quilt if it has no batting, than it is a coverlet, am I wrong???? Many greetings

Another TH-cam quilter, who wasn’t payed by ms quilty, tried the fabric and said, it’s not too bad, but it feels a little cheap. Your whole channel seems to be an advertising to me, I watched a few videos. I don’t like it.

I love that! I'm yet to try a tied quilt but I love the look!
I love tying them. You can use yarn or embroidery thread. It’s so pretty!
@lynnebivens2119 I'll have to give it a try 😁

This summer quilt, as you called it , is actually called a Coverlet !
Thank you for letting me know, makes sense!
Love the colourway.
This is how I sew my scraps to make dog blankets. I just use fleece.
Love that 😍

I LOVE THIS… so easy.. so quick..perfect picnic blanket.
It would make them perfect picnic blanket, I love that!! With a waterproofed backing fabric
I made a tied quilt with a sheet that had characters from Thomas the Tank Engine. Backed it with two layers of a flannel sheet and serged the edges. 🙂

Is there a pattern for the Tretis quit behind you?
Hi! There is a vide for it, watch it here: th-cam.com/video/7gM0wTxc-3A/w-d-xo.html
How many squares and strips did you cut and the measurements of them, please ❤
I would like to learn that too!
Hi. I cut 1 4inch rectangle and 2 2 inch strips out of each fat quarter. In the end, it's 7 inch squares.
@@patadams2777 just answered it 😊
@@seweasybysandy Thank you so much - you give me confidence to try this! Thank you again!

It's considered a tapestry without the third layer...easy project for a first time textile project 😊
I feel fancy now 😁

I don't like it either
.
BEWARE Mrs quilty,s fabrics are cheap and shoddy
The fabric is probably sent to her pro Bono to make her projects with.
Not my taste of fabrics.
