to anyone having my issue of it not showing up: make sure you paste the contents of the apps folder into your current "apps" folder, not the entire thing.

Great tutorial! It is possible to load all brawl mods from usb loader, it’s not preferred but I thought I would add that it’s possible.
Also I suggest making a wiiflow tutorial

Does project + load pmex remix? How did you get it to work cus I'm tryna play pmex remix but can't seen to get it
@@michaelbennett741 nah I used this guide to install remix and then thought if I can get remix to work PMEX can't be much different. Literally followed the steps exactly the same except used the PMEX files and it worked perfect.
@@michaelbennett741 the parts I kept messing up was the SD criteria you really do need an HC SD card for the files and a separete thumb drive to load the game from, also so far I can't get any launchers to work except the ones that come with it, so don't try using wiiflow or usbloader only official launchers.
@@Sawgoodmen what launcher loads pmex remix? I been using project m for smash universe but I don't know what loader to use for pmex remix also what you mean separate thumb drive? I have an SDHC also that I'm using
@michaelbennett741 I'm assuming youre trying to play on modded wii/wii u , but if you drag and drop all files to the root of your SD card it should automatically include a launcher u can boot from the homebrew channel, this goes for both project plus and PMEX. And by separate thumbdrive I just mean you can't use your sd card to boot smash bros it needs to be on a external storage device/ thumbdrive, unless you're just booting it from the disc then there will be a launcher option for that.

@Anton Retro Great Tutorial! My only question is, what to do with the existing .elf file vs the new one? I would like to not have to edit the sd card every time I want to switch between Project + and CTGP-R
Quick note: ANY SD card can be used, including SDXC, as long as you format it as Fat32
I receive a black error screen with invalid adresses when starting the game. I read that Sdxc cards wont work is that true? I use a 64Gb sdxc card.

@@limitlessboy6423 hm weird, I'm using a 128GB microsdcard formatted to Fat32 and cluster size to 32KB. Games are working fine for me now

Hey I followed your introduction on getting Mario kart Wii ctgp and i noticed that the project plus also has boot.elf and when I want to put the project plus’s boot.elf on the sd card is asking to overwrite it. Should I over writing it or no? Will it work when I want to play ctgp?
keep the boot.elf you got from mkwiictgp on your pc and save your project plus boot.elf and put one on your sd card to play the specific one

What's the difference between versions downloaded? Is it not a complete build of P+ if I use the non-homebrew method?
I dont know if anyone else has this problem but I used the homebrew method to launch project+ but after a little while my screen goes black and i get some strange error message. it doesnt say anything its just a collection of numbers and letters and the only way to leave is to turn off the console and turn it back on. I dont know why it does it or if there is a fix but I hope that doesnt mean project+ doesnt work on my Wii.
I have the same problem, except I can’t turn off the console without unplugging the AC adapter from the console

Hello friend, I have a problem. It happened to me with Project + and with Smash Remix (Both Project M)
there are times when it don't even want to load the game tha screen stills in a black screen, there are other times when you start a match in smash mode the screen goes black with an error code. I'm playing it from the Wii U Virtual Wii. But my question is why does this happen? And does it also have a solution for Wii U?

Im having an issue that when i load the mod with the homebrew way, it either loads a supersmash bros brawl or just a black screen, im using an auatralian copy of ssbb

it gives me a black screen that says “attempted to access invalid address” when i hold A and press “play” as fast as i can cuz if i go any slower that shows up anyways

The application is downloaded and can be seen in the homebrew. However, when trying to enter, it just takes me to the menu. Why is that pls?

Hi dude, love the tutorial. I tried to download project plus myself but I can only get to the first menu which says “play, update, addons and exit.” When I select play, I just get taken back to the Wii menu, any idea why this is? Thanks in advance!
Because I live in Ireland, I had to import a NTSC-U copy of the game from Canada for this mod

I use homebrew and when i load it, nothing happens. If i open up the launcher options (holding A) and then select "play" (or "start", i don't remember) it just brings me back on the wii menu. What's the problem? How do I launch the game?

It’s possible to play smash bros brawl (or project + remix etc) with gamecube controller or gamepad controller
Ok Ive done everything in the tutorial and its not popping up with the app, im currenly using a 32gb card
If the wii is having trouble reading your brawl disc could that be an issue. I'm going to get it cleaned at a local game store and try again.
It works but when I try plugging in the xyab ngc controller adapter in the wii u it crashed

I remember having that same problem while trying to get Project M to work. I eventually fixed it somehow by putting the SD card back into the computer and doing something and Project M loaded up. Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly what I did to get it to work.

idk why but i get a black screen with some scary white text for the wii u method I did everything for the homebrew method.

You can do both but working it with a physical copy is much easier

Mine doesn't work, I have a 4GB SDHC Card w/ some apps loaded on there. I have it in it's own folder. I also have a 16GB SDHC Card.
Edit: Nvm, I had to have it on the root of the SD Card. It's on the 16gb card & it works.

No, doesn't exist this method, only works with an original CD of Brawl.

When i try to load Project +, it pops up with an error code, but not with the “Exception” screen. My Brawl Disc is in, any reason why this happens?
It has 3 words on the top of the screen. “Address:” “Back Chain” and “L R save”
bro... I did the method that lets you play a legally obtained wbfs of brawl for the Universe mod you made and now it does this thing here when i load either from disc or usb it loads the logo right before the intro cutscene and i cant play i evevn redownloaded it no luck please i need help
For anyone wondering use CFG and set your hooktype to VBI it didnt work for me because i downloaded the cheats through cfg but universe and other mods use itsown cheat codes it replaced universes codes for me when i downloded them so it ruined the loader
