I frick'n love the Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy so much. I'm not always into the franchise, but when I'am, I just marvel in it, and being immersed into the music is one of the best ways to do it. At World's End, in my opinion, is the best one, the previous two are massively epic, but At World's End and everything about it just makes me want to cry. Especially when I hear this track alone and acknowledge the majestic of Hans Zimmer symphonic composition.
When Jack and Elizebeth escape from the Dutchman, and Elizebeth watches as Will and his ship sink to the bottom of the sea, the soundtrack makes me want to cry.
I'm a massive fan of the first three movies, but I like to pretend the last 2 don't exist. The trilogy has a perfect story and ending, which is ruined by the last 2 entries. When I rewatch them I stop at 3.
This one and Davy Jones theme are the best, There is no best betwen the 2, they are both perfect in their own way, Will and Elizabeth's theme being romantic and optimistic representing the feeling of a young and strong love while Davy's being more melancolic and raging representig Davy's frustration of giving everything for someone that never loved him. Both songs are about love, just different very contrasting outcomes you could get from it
