I know I'm not the only one when I say that this masterpiece touches every ounce of my soul. It's not just shivers or goosebumps down my spine, it's something so strong that it makes everything else seem blank. Funny how music - something what we can't even see, makes us feel so much..

Will: "I've made my choice. What's yours?" Elizabeth: "Barbossa!" Will: *Confused face* Elizabeth: "Marry us!" Will: *Face clears up* Barbossa: "I'M A LITTLE BUSY AT THE MOMENT!" Genius scene

3:15 is so heartbreakingly beautiful, it feels like a punch straight to the gut. I can just see Jack dragging Elizabeth away from Will's body and her watching the Dutchman sink to the bottom of the sea with the love of her life (and one of Jack's best friends)
Yeah, but then 30 second later, he rises up. And is then captain of the Flying Dutchman. But has to stay in the ship. For 20 years. Until their son breaks the curse. Sorry if I spoiled anything lol. I just got really into it. 😂😂
The scene is even more heartbreaking to think that they literally married maybe 20 minutes earlier. Had barbosa not done his little ceremony they would not have married at all.

I agree with you, especially on the Davy Jones part. He was well developed, and the character showed how all bad things have something good, like his love story with calypso.

I can't believe that the most realistic, most well crafted love story from Diisney in modern time is Will and Elizabeth. I really hate that Disney never understood that Captain Jack Sparrow shines when he's a side character. He is the personification of destiny and fate, a faux Mad Max-type character who brought two lovers and strengthened both as a couple.
@@Aldiraider Ya same for me too mate. 😉😉😉 He's the ONLY one able to make my poor heart ache, scream and twitch. 😔😔😔 His actor NAILED it. 👍👍👋👋 Will ALWAYS loved him. 😘😘😍😍😍💯💕💕💕
The fact that you said realistic made me laugh. Their love is like a fairytale and this doesn't exist in real life which is just unrealistic and although Will has said "I love you" to Elizabeth many times, while Elizabeth's actions shows that she loves Will we have never heard her in the entire trilogy to say "I love you" to Will which is a very noticeable detail.Yeah, Will and Elizabeth are the the most realistic love story from Disney 🤣🤣🤣.
@@sweethomesweethome1741 Of course its like a fairytale. Its a freaking pirate movie with giant Krakens, Aztec curses and demigods. But Will and Elizabeth's love story is realistic as in they don't end up sailing into the sunset at the end of the third movie like what happens in every Disney romance. ITS REALISTIC FOR A DISNEY MOVIE.

Jenny Bran Yeah, third and fifth, but especially third, have the best music of all of them, haven't they? The first is the best because of the jokes and the beautiful ending, but the third is almost as good as it. The third is most epic, most impressive and most emotional, as i think.
Blackwhite Storms To me they shouldn't really have made a fourth and fifth movie although I really love the movies. To me it just isn't a perfect "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie if there are not Will and Elisabeth involved. Well...in the fifth movie they are involved but they just don't have a big role like I wished...not to mention Barbossa. His death was so unnecessary cuz to me he's also a very important character in the movies.
Nearly 10 1/2 years later and this still makes me cry. I'm glad Will and Elizabeth finally got their happy ending and now they can be together with their son and his girlfriend.
Disney should understand that we love the movie for Captain Jack Sparrow. If he's not there, then the movie won't receive much acceptance. Never try to replace him because he has a ship and crew living among us. Savvy?
Actually from the last few movies based off Jack and flopped, Disney should realize they need Will and Elizabeth with Jack on the side. Story should never focus around Jack as we can’t relate to being a pirate. We can relate to being an every day person like Will who eventually goes down that path. Films were never the same once those two left.
This definitely feels different from the original score, it's like watching the same movie again but noticing different things in the background. Absolutely loved it...
Music can send you. This composition is beyond emotional. It is other-worldly - connecting our ears to our heart and soul. When I am offended by my wife, I play this anthem. And almost immediately it brings me back to just loving her - no matter what. "Keep a weather eye on the horizon."
you have to listen to the music quietly, close your eyes and go deep and everything is perfect! The music, the rhythm, the feeling everything just feels perfect !! Thank you for posting this!
I'm listening to this with good headphones and I i can hear all of the layering and different instruments that Hans Zimmer uses. He's a true genius!! Love his work!
This makes me so emotional!! I love it when the power of music is so strong that you really feel it within you! The power of the orchestra playing as the violinist sway their bows on the violin, the low brass bringing power! The percussion bringing precision! It’s so beautiful! And I love the oboe solo towards the middle👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🎵🎵🎵🎵💫💫💫💫
@@Dos_Caffeine its 10 year after at worlds end but the story is happening 17-20 years after that, then in the credit, there were will and elizabeth sleeping and you could see davy jones commimg in which destroyed the whole happily ending
The first 3 movies were my everything as a child ❤❤😍😍 I had a CD with the 1st movie soundtrack and I listened to it EVERYWHERE. When I saw At World's End as a kid in theatres, it was like I was complete. The utter raw emotion in this soundtrack gives me chills down to my soul. This music is an absolute miracle, Will and Elizabeth are the embodiment of love, courage, and going literally to the ends of the earth for each other.
Boys and girls, ladys and gentleman, "lets keep a weather eye on the horizon" for a new Pirates of the Caribbean that could be as good as the first 3. I hope Disney will understand that "not all treasure is silver and gold mate..." and that they will listen to the fans and they keep Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann in it. 😔
The entire score is incredible, but the revisited part of Up is Down gave me so much chills oh my gosh I almost cried, it was so beautiful and intense 😍
One of the best soundtracks ever created in movie history. It’s amazing! It sounds beautiful and it perfectly fits the time. I always imagine being in the 18th century while listening to this.
This suite is gold! The first part so emotional, romantic and nostalgic, then comes sadness and powerful touch to the heart, then the funny, full of energy, and happiness exciting part and finally the notes of a sweet and peaceful ending... just as marriage... Love theme suite really honors its title for me😍 forgive me if I am one of those few romantic ladies who still believe in the adventure of love ❤
i first heard this music when i watched the film in Ukraine in 2007 where i thought i was going to be stuck forever because of legal issues and never see the love of my life again, the man who is now, 11 years later the father of my son and still the only face i want to see when i wake up. it seriously makes me cry, Hans Zimmer truly created a masterpiece. Hearing it in the latest pirates film made me tear up with a nostalgia for my youth, our love and all of the beauty and awesomeness that came after.
I think this is the first time I’ve ever actually cried while listening to music . Ik I’m only 16 but this literally brings me back to the days when I was 4 or 5 and I first watched these movies and was just fascinated and in love with the series. Not till later in life, (present day) did I become fascinated in and started wanting to go to college for film studies and music production, which led me to the realization that; The music just adds and strikes you with a whole other layer of “indescribable feeling and emotion” as if the films weren’t already adventures with masterful story writing woven perfectly with character creation and relationships developing to help the plot and movie flow and get the audience truly captivated and immersed in the world of the “Pirates of the Caribbean”. I’m literally sobbing listening to this.. it truly is a masterpiece.
I remember watching Pirates in 2007 when I met my first love, 10 years after I met another girl who makes me feel the same way. I listened to these songs from pirates and watching Will meet with Elizabeth after so long time just brought tears to my eyes. I feel young again.
Had to make an account to reply, this comment always makes me wish that someone I know wrote it. Probably won't ever see that person again but I think I know the feeling described here. If nothing else the memories help me smile, no regrets even if on the other hand I haven't felt this weak in a long time. Hope all the best in life to you all
I'm feeling a little inspired and broken all at the same time listening to this and reading these comments. Johny, it is a rare and fantastic thing to have somebody make you feel that way...let alone twice. Wow! :) Nimi, I know how you feel. I don't know if I would ever have a chance to feel that kind of love again. This song really goes straight to the heart.
Sorry for interrupting this really beautiful , heartrending series if monologues, but I m 15 , haven't been in a relationship, not looking forward to it either. Anyways, wish u all , all the best in your lives.
The song evokes a sense of completeness, yet simultaneously feels tinged with a haunting curse. It grants a feeling of liberation, yet also harbors an unsettling unease.
Will and Elizabeth's love story is one of the best love stories that I've ever seen, and I absolutely love their reunion in Dead Men Tell No Tales, it's beautiful.
The combination of the cinematography, editing and music of the 'Up is Down' scene caused me to go back to the film to watch that scene specifically. Brilliant build up, Johnny Depp's acting, the dramatic/inspiring/beautiful music in the rocking of the ship, the cinematic and editing of the underwater part, how so well the mood was captured, the beauty of the ocean and the sun set/rise... Everything pretty much... they NAILED that scene. (Coming from an aspiring filmmaker, and film+music student. & I also compose so I understand the technical approaches etc.) I'm in awe every single time. Then I was so taken with the scene I accidentally watched the rest of the movie. No regrets. It was just as brilliant as all the other 20 times I have watched it.
There in the beginning you can really feel the ocean, with its grand and powerful waves going, this is the soundtrack of the ocean to me. It conveys all its power that it has if it wants to. You literally feel the overpowering waves that you don't stand a chance to. Not even a tiny one. It's just so much more mighty and powerful. I love the feeling that it conveys, and the character of the wild ocean that comes into my mind when listening to this.
When you put it up loud on the headphones, it's an experience that is undescribable. Like no other. You just feel the whoosh, and the flow, and the power of the ocean. You yourself almost vanish.
How can someone dislike it? IT is the most beautiful thing I´ve ever heard! Crying all the time! Especially at the end of Dead men tale no tales when Will and elizabeth finally were together! LOVE THIS MASTERPIECE!!!!!

I really hate that Disney never understood that Captain Jack Sparrow shines when he's a side character. He is the personification of destiny and fate, a faux Mad Max-type character who brought two lovers and strengthened both as a couple.
ya, true for me Will Turner is the Main Character of the first 3 Pirate of the Carribbean Movies. Especially in the second and third.
Its Jack for me mate.. i kinda hated Will.
@@sweethomesweethome1741
Of course its like a fairytale.
Williams gave us Love across the stars, Zimmer gave us Love across the sea... we are lucky.
This might be the best love theme I've ever heard.
Only surpassed by Titanic.
Across the Stars (Padme and Anakin's theme) is pretty solid too.
No matter how many love stories I love, I believe that Will and Elizabeth's story is the ultimate story of love.
Gloria Austen
Yeah... 💗 Thanks to them I believe in true love. 💟💞 They have the most beautiful love story I have ever seen... 💘❤️💖 Well, still better than Twilight... 😂😂 But it's obvious! 😍💕💓
the best one of all time
I believe it too
I believe my tragic love story is the best of all time. Also, James Norrington deserved better than what he got.
Yeah no kidding!!! During the final battle, when Barbossa marries them while their all slaying dudes was somehow the most romantic thing Iv'e ever seen in a movie... It helps that Keira and Orlando have amazing chemistry
Goosebumps and tears. One of the best composers of all time
It's a crime to insert an advertisement in the middle of this soundtrack: life imprisonment for TH-cam.
Trueee
And there is no similar version of this song. Hurts so bad 😐
Go here and listen
Pros: No random ads ruining the middle of the song.
Auto repeat.

Indeed .
Just play this at my wedding
Gamerknight 999 congrats
Oh you misunderstood, sorry, I just meant that if I ever have a wedding then I want this playing
I subbed to u so that I can get the wedding video with the song lol. ;)
Here in Spain, there was a time between 2008 and 2010 when this song was in almost every wedding video
Poct
One of the most beautiful, soul-stirring pieces of music ever composed...Hans Zimmer is truly a genius.
it gives me goosebumps every single time...and it ALWAYS makes me wanna see the third movie...holy mother
Johannes Sturhahn the first is the worst. Third is the best.
@@jjbam7441 the first is the worst!!!
@@bellalestrange4191 i completely agree. the first three were so amazingly good
The violin part gets me every time. After years I'm still crying❤
im convinced that music is the greatest invention in the human being, capable of trasporting you anywhere she wants .
0:34 just all the instruments playing together at this one point is just incredible to me.
Nearly 10 1/2 years later and this still makes me cry. I'm glad Will and Elizabeth finally got their happy ending and now they can be together with their son and his girlfriend.
Eileen S Miller .Me too..But in my case my bf asked me to marry him in the beach with the sunset where's nobody else here in Long Branch NJ
Oh shit- It has been 10 years! I still Love this movie too, time flies.
Agree so much:)
Did you see the after credits tho Davy Jones is alive idk how but apparently he is and the original trilogy was my favorite 1, 2 and 3
I can’t believe it’s already been 10 years though... Ugh I just love this movie franchise, it’s so beautiful.
" It's always belonged to you.... "
" Will you keep it safe... " ?😭😭💔💔
uhhhh no...
Disney should understand that we love the movie for Captain Jack Sparrow. If he's not there, then the movie won't receive much acceptance. Never try to replace him because he has a ship and crew living among us. Savvy?
Yes, i do savvy
Sounds as good as the sweet whistling of the west wind to me
@@kvfalot7618 my comment or the theme music 😅 ?
@@melvinstanly Both. :)
Actually from the last few movies based off Jack and flopped, Disney should realize they need Will
and Elizabeth with Jack on the side. Story should never focus around Jack as we can’t relate to being a pirate. We can relate to being an every day person like Will who eventually goes down that path. Films were never the same once those two left.

This music is soulful…… a beautiful masterpiece!!
Stunning to listen to. Chilling stuff. So intense, powerful, intimate and clarifying.
Hans Zimmer
The life ❤
I've never seen movies, I watched all three of them yesterday... I didn't think I could cry.
This song helps me with almost every part of my life.
I can't read without listening to this...even when I am sad I break the replay button
Stryker NovaStorm - ......I don't get sick of it either
this is a good thing but your life better if you believe it at that is a light always in the life ;)
Wolfus The Wolf - it always reminds me of the tough life I had
So fucking empowering, but simple and clarifying at the same time. Hans Zimmer is incredible.
Part of the crew, part of the ship... Part of the crew, part of the ship...
The Dutchman must have a captain...
I´m Capitan Jack Sparrow
Part of the ship ... Part of the crew ... Part of the ship ... Part of the crew
My heart always breaks at that part
Imperator Furiosa same
Must not leave the ship...
Wow...now THAT'S romantic
That is so beautiful and inspirational. Thank you for sharing those lovely words.💜
Good perspective.
I can literally play POTC music all day long and not get bored with it.
everytime I hear 3:44 I just close my eyes and feel so many emotions... this is a masterpiece, I hope I'll get the chance to hear it live someday
you have to listen to the music quietly, close your eyes and go deep and everything is perfect! The music, the rhythm, the feeling everything just feels perfect !! Thank you for posting this!
Yo, nice name
Ariel Oerlemans you’re welcome! Enjoy!
I want to see whole pirates of the Caribbean series with you guys who are commenting

You’re just talking about the ones directed by Gore Verbinsky, right ?
Arnaud Dolan Yeah dude, those are in an other level compared to the other...
Hello
I want this soundtrack to be played at my wedding!
Same
Makes me want to cry
Makes me want to laugh
Reminds me of Will and Elizabeth
Makes me want to go to the Locker
Makes me want to be a PIRATE.
You don’t wanna go to the locker, mate
@@emperorflare8911 um.. I think I agree😂
Will and Elizabeth was one of the best things about POTC.
Whenever someone goes there they be like :did anybody see that because I will NOT be doing it again : jack sparrow : XD
I like that Dead men tell no tales comes ten years after World’s end
Sauron oh my gosh I never noticed that - it’s funny cause in the Calypso and Davy Jones Arch he has to wait 10 years also to reunite with calypso
The worst part of them all
So true
Not just that, but when you skip the credits you get a very toching scene with Will returning to see Elizabeth.
There is no "Pirates of the Caribbean" whithout these characters
Problem is Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley weren't willing to repeat their characters 😢 but maybe after all this time?
🙏🏼🙏🏼
The entire score is incredible, but the revisited part of Up is Down gave me so much chills oh my gosh I almost cried, it was so beautiful and intense 😍
That part at 1:10 minutes of this piece always dosent fail to make me cry.
So true bru
In my humble opinion, this is Hans Zimmer's Mangum Opus
In my opinion the greatest film music ever. Pure art 😍
Glad to see other people find this as beautiful as I do even as a kid I loved this theme
One of the best soundtracks ever created in movie history. It’s amazing! It sounds beautiful and it perfectly fits the time. I always imagine being in the 18th century while listening to this.
I feel At World's End was the best of the series especially in terms of music
This is without doubt the most powerful audio ever produced, it makes me feel emotions I didn’t even knew I had
I’m so obsessed with the POTC music 😩
Ferrin S same, guilty!

Pirates life👏
Me too! Can't get tired of it!
This suite is gold! The first part so emotional, romantic and nostalgic, then comes sadness and powerful touch to the heart, then the funny, full of energy, and happiness exciting part and finally the notes of a sweet and peaceful ending... just as marriage... Love theme suite really honors its title for me😍
forgive me if I am one of those few romantic ladies who still believe in the adventure of love ❤
This is the best love theme in the history of cinema
i first heard this music when i watched the film in Ukraine in 2007 where i thought i was going to be stuck forever because of legal issues and never see the love of my life again, the man who is now, 11 years later the father of my son and still the only face i want to see when i wake up. it seriously makes me cry, Hans Zimmer truly created a masterpiece. Hearing it in the latest pirates film made me tear up with a nostalgia for my youth, our love and all of the beauty and awesomeness that came after.
Happy for you !
It sounds like you have a love story as beautiful as this music :)
What a lovely story of the real life.
Are there more of you? Im free tho...

Mostafa Aldiri well spoken!
Easily the BEST piece of music in that entire trilogy! And the scene...gets me near tears everytime. Lol
2:54 “Part of the crew, part of the ship.”
Angelina Schippers yeah dude!😂
3:00 "The Dutchman must always have a captain."
best part of the whole soundtrack. Wish it would be longer, that chorus.
😭
You can never beat the classics. I grew up with this, my dad loves this and so do I
8:20 - 10:00 is so unbelievably beautiful.
My favorite part.
I remember watching Pirates in 2007 when I met my first love, 10 years after I met another girl who makes me feel the same way. I listened to these songs from pirates and watching Will meet with Elizabeth after so long time just brought tears to my eyes. I feel young again.
gg bro, I don't know you but I am happy for you
Had to make an account to reply, this comment always makes me wish that someone I know wrote it.
I'm 21 never been in love. You guys are lucky :)
The song evokes a sense of completeness, yet simultaneously feels tinged with a haunting curse. It grants a feeling of liberation, yet also harbors an unsettling unease.
I can't believe this song don't have more likes, it's wonderful.
Micaela Usai .. You're absolutely right
It moved my heart
Will and Elizabeth's love story is one of the best love stories that I've ever seen, and I absolutely love their reunion in Dead Men Tell No Tales, it's beautiful.
Me before actually watching Pirates of the Caribbean: Oh, this is a really nice piece of music.
Me After: *sobbing*
when i hear music so perfect like this one , sometimes i just cant believe how something so beautiful can even exist
Its making me want to cry about my anties baby and also uncle Robin
The combination of the cinematography, editing and music of the 'Up is Down' scene caused me to go back to the film to watch that scene specifically. Brilliant build up, Johnny Depp's acting, the dramatic/inspiring/beautiful music in the rocking of the ship, the cinematic and editing of the underwater part, how so well the mood was captured, the beauty of the ocean and the sun set/rise... Everything pretty much... they NAILED that scene. (Coming from an aspiring filmmaker, and film+music student. & I also compose so I understand the technical approaches etc.)
I'm in awe every single time.
Then I was so taken with the scene I accidentally watched the rest of the movie. No regrets. It was just as brilliant as all the other 20 times I have watched it.
Ik. At worlds end had The best cinematography... every scene every score was a masterpiece.
I miss those days of Pirates of the Caribbean series! What a wonderful series of movies it is..!
Possibly my favourite piece of Hans Zimmer music. I can’t help but get emotional whenever listening and I love the films too.
Marry Me is one of the most beautiful music of our time...
Nice description! I totally agree with you
It is cathartic from the beginning until the end! This music goes into the human soul deeply and its complexity is priceless.
How can someone dislike it? IT is the most beautiful thing I´ve ever heard! Crying all the time! Especially at the end of Dead men tale no tales when Will and elizabeth finally were together! LOVE THIS MASTERPIECE!!!!!
The Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy possibly has the greatest soundtrack of all time
Lotr too
