I recently rewatched the original trilogy, I was mesmerized and amazed of how well crafted these movies are. They are far better than I remembered. Pure cinematic magic for a fantasy blockbuster of this magnitude.
There is no aspect that is bad, (my humble opinion), from the plot, the dialogues, the casting choices, performances, location, sound effects, special effects (Davy Jones, HATS OFF), location, set and costume design, THE MUSIC!!!!!
Total oscar worthy and Oscar snubbed. I think the whole franchise just won one Academy Award.
The characters well-written, Elizabeth works perfectly as a female lead without pushing the feminist agenda we know nowadays, the character's alliances feel organic, no wholes in the plot. Everything works.

Man I can’t agree more, I’ve recently rewatched pirates for the first time since my childhood ( last time watched them about 12 years ago).
When searching for movies to watch, I saw pirates poster many times, but always skipped them cuz thought I knew the plot.
But i found out that I remembered only key moments, but these movies turned out to be
much more rich and well made than I thought.
I was literally stopping and replaying some moments for 4-5 times enjoying them again and again.
My regret is not seeing this franchise in cinema, does anyone know why won’t Disney put them back to cinemas? For some anniversary maybe, like a different company is doing this year for interstellar s 10th anniversary!

It was the same for me, i rewatched all of them and finally understand the deepest point and the true plot of the story and at least even the 4 and 5 wasn't the best ( the 3 is my favorite :D ) i must to say that the love/familly story of Will and Elizabeth was incredible and finish so well ! tanks to our god ..... HANS ZIMMER !!!!!

When my husband died for the longest time I would listen to this, it gave me comfort imagining seeing him again in Heaven with this piece playing surrounded once more by all those we held dear. Beautiful music carries us through our greatest moments giving it meaning and dimension

How u handle the Pain
For me, the Pirates of the Caribbean original trilogy is simply cinematic perfection.
From the opening credits to that first scene, it simply immersed you into the world building and spectacular cinematography.
And of course, who can forget the unforgettable soundtrack. 😊❤
I still think this is Zimmer’s best work ! The variety in “At World’s End”
No one will say it . Interstellar and Dark Knight gets the praise …
But Pirates will always be my Zimmer masterpiece !

I have had so many moments where I truly considered which score is best. After so many considerations and rethoughts, Pirates has the best scores of all his work. Don't get me wrong, Interstellar, Inception and Dark Knight all have legendary pieces, but overall it's Pirates, it always has been Pirates
Gladiator makes the cut as well
same. There is no score that can transmit as much rollercoaster of emotions as this one. Interstellar is VERY close, but Pirates es the best one

The first 3 "Pirates" were a masterpiece, more so because of its musical score. Zimmer captures the true essence of the adventurous days of the high seas. Great story telling with an even greater musical score. I lament that we don't see this quality from Disney and Hollywood anymore. Gone are the days, and all we're left with are these beautiful mementos.
i forgot the one with blackbeards daughter's name it might've been number 4, but it had a song by gabriella and rodrigo called "angelica" maybe. Not a zimmer song, but really good song

This song brings up the fresh, brave and fearless spirit of everyone that fell deeply in love one day. Sadly, the scars of those days that is always so hardly really gone, stills remain.

I was on a cruise a couple of days ago. I met this girl and we instantly became friends. The ease with which we could communicate was something I've never experienced... probably never will. On the last day of the cruise, I stood silently on a sunset facing deck. Alone with my thoughts. Looking at the sunset, I played this track. It was one of the most peaceful moments of my life - I was connected with myself and my thoughts and dreams. And I never felt more certain about someone as I did for this girl. She's from a different country though. And after the cruise, I won't be able to see her, maybe for a long time. This made me connect to Will and Elizabeth like I've never done before. So yes, that day I just played this song and just stared at the sea. Thanks for uploading this track!
