Whenever I try to learn Project Management online, usually the videos are super boring with PowerPoint slides but this was so smooth and amazing. Thanks a lot.

It is remarkable how important our imperfection
Is to the process of change management… working better without tearing the whole down. Ain’t no one perfect…

useful video to understand change management, thanks for that. However a question, why do we need a master change?

Solid video. Excellent summary. Do you think the entire five steps could be done in one meetings for smaller changes on a piece of software? Think security settings in a cloud environment and/or software label or settings changes.

Depending on the size and scope of the change, you could easily do most of this in a single meeting. That's why many changes that occur frequently are moved to the "Standard Change" category that won't require subsequent authorization and analysis.

what is the difference between change management and patch management?

    • @chrisward1144

Patch management is a very focused aspect of Change management that concentrates on "patching" or "fixing" software bugs, issues, etc. Think of Change management as how all change is handled in an organization. Patch management would then be a category of changes like Hardware, Patch, Network, etc.
