- It always makes me so nervous when I do this but I know those guys love motorcycles, Mohammad even rebuilt this $25 Barn find BSA himself with so much eye for detail and in Iran where getting parts seems almost impossible. I know he‘s not gonna crash eve when he’s test riding her and I also know he‘ll go above and beyond if I would be running into problems, that’s for sure. The look on his face returning is priceless…
Also going to Yazd today, what a cool city 🤙🏼

Hey Marc. U should visit tge historical places as Iran has been one of the oldest civilizations. Shiraz (percpolis) and Isfahan (sisosepol) and etc.
why not you put iron guard on your ev bike, it will save your bike even if it fall?
Eve is a novelty to many motorcycle communities. You being a gracious guest by allowing experienced riders of the facilities that your staying ride her. You can imagine the stories they tell their friends after riding her. Hospitality, works both ways, your making friends that won't forget.
Yes 🙌🏼
What an absolutely stunning country.
And amazing people.
You're a lucky guy.
Absolutely 👍🏼
Just a bit of history about that beautifully restored bike. The BSA M20 was the main bike used by the British Army in WW2, not fast by any means, but incredibly tough and reliable, proven by how many examples have survived and are still being ridden, in the UK anyway.
A friend of mine has a collection of just about every military bike used, and the M20 is by far his favourite.
Bikers are generally friendly world wide, Iran being no exception, but it always appears that all Iranians are very friendly to visitors and travellers, as borne out by many other travellers on You Tube.
Keep sharing Marc, and enjoy the ride.👍
Thanks man 🤙🏼
This is my "baby" M20, a 1939 BSA C10, 250cc after I restored it....unfortunately it is too small for my long old legs to ride it very far.
th-cam.com/video/5JqRyInoinQ/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
I'm so glad you're getting to see how lovely Iran and it's people are.
Yes me too 🤗
Iran is a country of 4 seasons. You can ski 🏂 and play in the 🌨️ snow and with less than an hour flight 🛫 you can sunbathe 🏝️🏖️, swim by the sea 🏊 and have a cool drink 🍦🍨.
I lived in Yazd for two months and the villages around it - Kharanag - Biyazia - Rabat Posht Badam - Ashkazar are ancient places, but the silence there is indescribable, a person feels closer to himself. I like this silence.
Me too 🤙🏼
Iran is coming across as a wonderful country, with some amazing people. And that BSA was beautiful!? A ride on a BSA A10 was what got me onto bikes.
Really cool bike 🙌🏼
16:30 - these central courtyards in the houses, which look like small castles due to the high wall around them, with little fountains and the seating areas around them... This architecture, which can be found even today in many areas with high temperatures, is always beautiful to look at
It really is 👍🏼
It's very understandable to be hesitant when giving your precious possession to someone else but you gave the perfect reasoning for it. It must be a very special experience to be riding in Iran but you showed us the sights and sounds we usually don't get to see so thanks for sharing Marc.
Literally all that I’ve got 🫣
@@MarcTravels Yeah I know how that can feel...
@@MarcTravels
With the strenght iam seeing from u
Ull get tens of them in the future 🤘😏
So envious that you are seeing such an amazing country as it should be seen.
Yes really a great experience 🙌🏼
Excellent video Marc, and so good of you to share your bike. As you said, he would probably never have that opportunity again. Well done you 👏
You did the right thing, sharing your ride is sharing the love of something that is years away for them. He's a sound chap and loves his bike.
Yeah that he is 👍🏼👍🏼
It is great to see you in high spirits Marcus. Thank you for giving us another video out of Iran. Onwards my friend. TC
Cheers 🤙🏼
I'm also from Iran, I love your content and hope you have a great time in Iran. Looking forward to see your next contents. Travel safe dude
Thanks man🤙🏼
Really surprised at Iran. Makes you realise you shouldn't believe everything the news media force feeds us with. Keep on opening our eyes to the beauties we don't normally see. Good luck with your journey.
Thanks! You shouldn’t believe anything the news say🤙🏼
Amazing video! You are a true human being, true to kindness, curiosity and awareness of life! You have my respect
Cheers mate 🤙🏼
It's always so nice to see the inside of these hotels. Nice court yards with plants and sometimes a water pond. It reminds me bit of Morocco which is also a beautiful country to explore.
Yes true 👍🏼
Holy Crap that BSA is the exact model my father had when I was a teen (he restored vinage motorcycles). After he passed I searched and found his bike.
Really cool motorcycle 🙌🏼
Hey Mark! 🌟 Just heard the exciting news about your confirmed visa for Pakistan! Can't wait to see you explore the beauty here. If you need any local tips, a place to crash, or just some good company, I'm here! Safe travels, and looking forward to your epic adventures! 🤙🏼
Where are you based?
Thanks to share Ur motorcycle with my people ❤
Sure thing🤗
Very wise of you. I feel the same, I love to share the things i enjoy with others.
Welcome to Iran. Please don't give your motorcycle to anyone. What will you do if they have an accident? don't repeat this risk and don't embarrass anyone
Yeah sure is a risk 🤙🏼
I don't know if your travel in Iran is over yet but if you have time go north from Tehran until you reach Caspian sea then go east to the holy city of Mashhad you will have a relaxing exiting ride half of the road will be seas side road
Thanks 🤙🏼
Deep down you have a good soul - to share your bike like that with other enthusiasts. You leave good memories for others, who will remember you for the rest of their lives. As you said ... why not?
Yes, and it made me happy too 🤗🙌🏼
Great video thank you very well done as always thanks for taking us along cheers to ya.
Cheers Bruce 🤙🏼
Man, you are absolutely one of the nicest people I've ever seen in my life❤❤
I'm really happy that TH-cam suggested your video to me👍🤘
Have fun!!
Thanks ❤️
Happy to see that you had a great time in Iran and showing that excitement and satisfaction of traveling to Iran, and the ❤️ of people for others doesn’t matter what nationality they are because ordinary people are always looking for peace and tranquility, and when people of different countries watch the videos of travelers like you they see that they understand the false news that they heard and become more familiar with the reality, and seeing the reality makes them more happier, and at the end,I wish you a good and safe journey and happiness and peace for everyone.❤
Thank you so much ❤️
I felt privileged to be able to test ride the Zero range at a UK dealer. I'm highly unlikely to go down the electroc route any time soon, but it was an experience I was so glad to have had.
It made me content that no matter how the energy situation goes, there will always be s ope for.us having bikes
Definitely something different 🙌🏼
That BSA!!!!!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 And it ran so clean, like a new bike! No worries about visiting places Marc, as you're only 20-something you have 70 or 80 years to go. You can come back one day if you want. You do you.
Yeah that is true 🙌🏼
The lady from the bistro was visibly embarrassed. Very sweet 😊 ...and i am glad riding my own electric motorcycle If i want to.
Thank you Mark for sharing such great experiences of your travel
My pleasure!
Your videos are awesome! You are exceptionally heart filled with sharing your bike with others! The world needs more people like you!
Thanks for tuning in 🤙🏼
Another day and the sun shine again , you see today your happy ..... meeting peoples and sharing make great travel video . Alain & Yellow
Yeah what a cool day 🤙🏼
I am from Pakistan. But I love Iran and it's people and their hospitality
That was a good thing , lending the bike in that particular case, to a motorcycle fan, you did good Marc, you did good. I wish you all the luck for your journey.
Thank you 🤙🏼
Thanks for being so kind. Just wanna add that over 250 cc is illegal in Iran, because a mullah was murdered by a man about 30 years ago, and the murderer escaped with a heavy bike. That's the only stupid reason of making higher cc bikes illegal and not issuing plate for them. This is terrible.
Excellent as always. Can you post a link to your Iranian biker friends accommodation please, help the man out, he deserves more bookings.
Yes: www.taktaku.com/
Ace video Marc, totally loving this part of your journey especially how difficult it can be with the lack of internet.
Love the fact you are finding quality people that you trust enough to let them sample the raw power of Eve 🤙🏻
You are a true modern day adventurer, brilliant.👍🏻
Keep up the great work and stay safe!
Thanks mate 🤗
Thanks
Thanks mate 🤗
WOW the landscapes, very much like here. 46 miles of view any time you leave town. Lots and lots of space. Very cool Marc!!
Yeah it’s very vast 🙌🏼
So glad to see you in Iran
Don’t forget to visit the main cities
Such as The capital (Tehran), Shiraz, Isfahan also Mashhad…. (Top four )
And if you like the nature you should definitely go north to the Māzandarān or Gilan province you won’t regret it
Have a good time and enjoy your trip ❤
Good luck
Thanks 🤙🏼
That BSA is as he says a work of art, cracking looking bike and he done a brilliant job of restoring it, looks absolutely mint.
Yeah absolutely. Perfectly restored 👍🏼
Welcome to my city bro. I hope you have a good time and have good memories here. Come again, we are waiting for you
Having a blast 🤗
I totally understand your worries of letting others ride Eve! But I also let others ride mine when I knew they were experienced riders. I still consider myself a beginner so yea :D
I am still amazed that you can move through the country without charging stations because everyone is so nice and letting you charge via wall plug. Very wholesome country (politics ignored)
Safe tavels!
Yeah no problem but in all the countries I have been I have never been rejected really. Can’t wait to get to India with charging infrastructure again though 🙌🏼🤗
Interesting ride today. Very scenic. Nice folks too. That BSA was amazing, a real classic! You should have taken it for a quick ride! 😁😁
Yeah probably should have 🫣
Смотрю на окружающих тебя людей и начинаю задумываться, а хороший ли я человек. Спасибо тебе Марк.
I’m very lucky with the people I meet on the road 🤗
It’s good to put a little trust in someone once in a while. Also, going out of your comfort zone is good for you!
True 🤗
A beautiful old BSA and a great video. I envy you my friend.
Cool bike hey 🙌🏼
Be carefull of your phone. Someone might steal it while you're driving. Have a nice trip :)
Let’s hope not 🫣
It is not much, I know. Hopefully next year I can contribute more.
That’s awesome! Thanks so much ❤️
A BSA Gold Star, M20 WW2 variant so definitely pre 1953 as it's single down-tube frame. Clocks I can't identify. Looks amazing.
He rebuilt it from scratch, imagine how hard it would have been getting the parts 🤯
The way you communicate with that lady to order the food its so funny for me 😂 love your content I hope you enjoy Iran
Love Iran ❤️
11:50 She says OMG! she is awesome🤣
Marcus you are doing so much for international relationships I salute you. If only the world had more motorcycle travellers it would be a better place. Keep it up and remember your efforts will ensure you will never be lonely. 👍
❤️
Love what you're doing Marcus, keep the wheel of adventure and exploring going. 🙌
Much love from Sweden, stay safe out there ♥️
Thanks mate 🤙🏼
For the internet problem you have to use a VPN because you can't access to anything if you don't have A VPN to use
Yes 👍🏼
I'm not surprised by Iran - its an incredible place and it always has been - think about the history and the pillars of society. It just shows unde the veneer of the current day situation, the people of Iran remain great
Yeah most friendliest people 🤗
Known as cradle of civilization in history, we love and respect people from all around the world. ♥️
Borders were created by man, but it's sometimes beautiful to forget about our small differences shaped by society!
Some people want to paint a different picture, but we're really not that different. Love for the love 🙌♥️
that vintage bike a piece of art
It is 👍🏼
Hello, I am Iranian and I am very happy that you came to visit Iran
Really enjoying myself
Yazd is the city where i was born, have fun there! i would advise you to visit the central Mosque of Yazd if you are a fan of the architecture and the Historical context of Yazd which has nice Hotels and restaurants. I am so happy to see my city after over a decade.
You mention that many places are amazing & it's true, but YOU are amazing! Been following your vids for ages & never commented, here in Iran I feel moved. When I was a student many years ago I shared a house with an an Iranian & there were others on the course - all great people. Godspeed (all/any of them)) with your trip & keep showing us the reality of the places through which you travel.✌
Thanks for your comment 🤗
Hey, Welcome to Iran!
It's nice to see you and I hope you have a wonderful trip
Just let me know if you come to Abyek City in Qazvin province I will be happy to see you here😀
I am enjoying your travels very much. Keep up the great journey Marc!!
Thanks mate 🤙🏼
Marc, I am fascinated by your journey through Iran, phenomenal!
Thanks 😊 many videos to come 🙌🏼
In fact some Iranian motor circle manufacturers have started building electric motor bikes which recently were introduced at motor bike show in tehran couple of month ago!
That’s awesome, I thought big and fast motorcycles are not allowed in Iran. Cool that it’s different with electric 🤗🙌🏼
If you ever make it to the USA, I will ride with you.
I will most definitely make it to the US🤙🏼
I'm happy to share my motorbikes, when you're with fellow bikers, the genuine guys become obvious, will help if you're in trouble. Biker community is alive thankfully.
Yes true 🙌🏼
Awesome. Im really enjoying your videos. Stay strong 💪 & safe. Can't wait for the next episode.
Good to hear 🤙🏼
Mark, if you had said earlier that I had an apartment in Isfahan, you could have used it for free. Good luck, Iranian people are very kind and hospitable.😊😊😊
I couldn’t make public where I am in Iran for security reasons 🤙🏼
I also live in Berlin, that's why I wanted you to be happy in Iran. Iran is excellent in terms of security, there is nothing to worry about, Mark.🙏
@@eliasabadi7427yes, there’s government agents that searched a couple and their hotel just last week. Checked all their cameras and computers, phones etc. I can’t take any risk in have that happen to me. Nobody knew where I was going when I was in Iran. No bookings, no reservations, no plan…that’s how I avoided something like this
you are certainly a paranoid individual @@MarcTravels
Good for you Marc giving someone a ride on your bike as you said they would never
Get the chance to ride a bike like that again. I would be very nervous as well it’s i really nice thing to do
Take care mate.
I think you can feel yourself if it's safe to share your motorcycle. I admit I am pretty protective with my one.
Yeah it’s always a little nerv wrecking 😉

You should have traveled to the northern parts of Iran by the Caspian Sea where you see high lush Green mountains & the beautiful Caspian Sea all next to each other!

It is my dream to buy a motorcycle like EVE and I am sure, one day I will get achieve my dream. Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰 ❤❤❤❤
Mohammad if you read this, good job on not dropping the bike😅. Greetings from your friend Timon from the Netherlands
I second that 🙏🏻😅
"Give her the beans..." ok, but he did not even wear a helmet... ;-)
Great insights Marc, your journey really get's more and more exciting!
Oh yeah, thanks for coming along mate 🙌🏼

you did well Marc.. imagine how much time it will take to have something like your bike in those places to try ..?!? you did well in my opinion ... Take care man
Yeah I’m happy to share this awesome experience 🤗
Its certainly surprising seeing how your getting on in Iran Marc,
Yeah it’s going great 😊
Great video, we get such the wrong idea of Iran. Be safe Marc and keep heading east.

You can't explain what motorcycling is like to someone who has never ridden one it's not just Physical it gives you an almost spiritual feeling that's the only way I can explain it, for me if im not in a good head space as soon as I get on my bike I feel the stress melt away , stay safe my friend .
Thanks mate 🤙🏼
Awesome BSA 👍
Yes 🙌🏼
Hi, I am from Iran, Isfahan and Yazd very beautiful cities, you must go to see them, but the most old ancient monuments of Iran are in Shiraz, Kermanshah, Kurdistan, and Khuzestan.
In my opinion, most tourists do not choose good places in Iran to visit because of the little information they have. I hope you have a good time in Iran
Yeah in my experience after so many countries, most locals say the same thing in every country😄 I’m going east and I just see what I see on the way 🤙🏼
Amazing that Iranians are such hospitipal people but the government is so extreme. There are many uTubers and tourists showing how gracious Iranians are so it is hard to imagine that the people of Iran have any say in who forms government.
Yeah people are great here 🙌🏼
You would be correct, power was seized in Iran and the current anti-iranian theocratic gov. has remained in power by force ever since the "devolution" 😔
Real change is on the horizon, hopefully Iran will revert back to secularism asap 🤞
😍😍😍 nice, i enjoyed
Awesome 🤩
Glad to see he was wearing his safety sandals.
Safety first 😄
Do not forget to visit Shiraz it’s my city ❤❤❤❤❤
