Everyone with a phone thinks they are some vlogger, and they are filming stuff that they shouldn't etc. I would want to get rid of 99% of them as well. Ikr. I could maybe understand going and saying something if youre concerned about what theyre up to (which I wouldn't personally ever do) and once you approach them and see they're respectful, polite, and accommodating, leaving them alone. But calling them "threatening" after saying "I'll paint your face" to a polite request, and lying about how you feel "threatened" and how "he's approaching me" was just pure malice. That guy wanted something bad to happen to these gentlemen because of some false thought construct he had in his head, and ppl like that are just the worst. Emotional vampires is what I like to call them.
When the older gentleman backed out from having freedom on his vehicle to something more calm, it really showed your versatility in situations but as an artists I can definitely imagine how stressful that must've been lol. Honestly inspiring me to do more crazy work on more crazy objects!
That Mercedes was perfect. Guy had good sense keeping it simple subtle and yet so personal. Loved the gas cap, what a great touch. The Mini is incredible! Eye catching and explosive design. It makes you wish everyone had the resources to get their cars done in this manner, what an interesting world we could have. The Bronco was so classy and tasteful! All the personal decals looked great. Excellent work bro.

Absolutely! I do custom nail art so different tools but same interactions with people. The clients that act like that are the ones who need your art the most. Art is therapeutic. Dude was showing symptoms of serious anxiety. You never know what art will mean to a customer. Art has kept me from jumping on more than one occasion.

For instance, barely saw the back of the Bronco... or the gas cap on the Mercedes (except when you were doing it), or the other side of the Mini... With mini cooper you had much more freedom, so it turned out the best!! The bigger the artwork the better! And people should be more thankful, even though the 2nd guy was annoying, he brought some cool gifts! So nice :)

Obviously when your in public you have no expectation to privacy regardless of your street being private. There needs to be signs explicitly stating that soliciting is not allowed, otherwise homeboy who walked up and said he was gonna paint Markos face is catching a fade.
These “asking stranger” videos are my favorite series by far. Implementing their personal choices and seeing how artistically talented you really are.. and being able to see their reaction. A+ series. Can’t help but think 90% of people you asked in this video probably thought “hell no is this kid dumb why would I trust him with my car” meanwhile every single person who did had 0 regrets.

I get that and you maybe right but he is an older dude and probably did rethink it. It's a more vintage car that means a lot to him and to put a whole design on it would have changed the identity of the car way to much. I think the right decision was made to keep the car more simple with a few meaningful touches. either way Marko killed it as usual.

As a sales person myself, I think it’s your approach of ‘painting’ the car what is making so many people say no. There are a lot of connotations to what painting means and that word definitely doesn’t do your work justice. Maybe saying, can I customize your ‘insert item here’. That workers truck with the ladders was clearly a business and they world have benefited from having their business name and logo added to it. You do amazing work! I just think you need a little different approach than can I paint it. Lots of love to your talent!
That's his style. That's Marko. He's awkward and funny - the benefit of him keeping his approach this way is attracting people who are free spirits and are down for anything. Obviously, it wasn't the case for Kevin in this video tho.
Do you not understand that he is trying to make a video and it makes for better content if people just blindly trust you to take something significant in their lives into your hands. Props for painting the car for Kevin, he definitely took advantage to get a free paint job and allowed minimal art so he can easily and cheaply restore it to a basic paint job.

Yeah a part 2, where he actually shows work that was done on the cars! He’s final shots don’t show all the hard work put into it. Camera man needs to point in the direction of the cars after they’re finished and show some more close-ups.
Kevin totally redeemed himself in the end. I was irritated with how particular he was being about a *free* paint job, but he really turned it around with some genuine warmth in the end

And you don't approach people that way, especially if they haven't even done anything wrong or illegal. Knocking on doors and filming on public streets isn't illegal. You can't say "do this or I'm gonna call the police" unless you are attempting to stop someone from breaking the law, which wasn't happening here.

My truck was stolen and they messed up everything including the paint, had no insurance and a year later, the Ca sun has ate away the clearcoat and wish I could have ran in to you. I think they used chemicals or something

Absolutely! I do custom nail art so different tools but same interactions with people. The clients that act like that are the ones who need your art the most. Art is therapeutic. Dude was showing symptoms of serious anxiety. You never know what art will mean to a customer. Art has kept me from jumping on more than one occasion.

It's a more vintage car that means a lot to him and to put a whole design on it would have changed the identity of the car way to much. I think the right decision was made to keep the car more simple with a few meaningful touches. either way Marko killed it as usual.

As a sales person myself, I think it’s your approach of ‘painting’ the car what is making so many people say no. There are a lot of connotations to what painting means and that word definitely doesn’t do your work justice. Maybe saying, can I customize your ‘insert item here’. That workers truck with the ladders was clearly a business and they world have benefited from having their business name and logo added to it. You do amazing work! I just think you need a little different approach than can I paint it. Lots of love to your talent!
That's his style. That's Marko. He's awkward and funny - the benefit of him keeping his approach this way is attracting people who are free spirits and are down for anything. Obviously, it wasn't the case for Kevin in this video tho.

And you don't approach people that way, especially if they haven't even done anything wrong or illegal. Knocking on doors and filming on public streets isn't illegal. What could be illegal is him threatening to call the police if they don't leave a public street where they are doing nothing wrong. You can't say "do this or I'm gonna call the police" unless you are attempting to stop someone from breaking the law, which wasn't happening here.
