Done just over 50 miles on mine got it last week and absolutely loving it was a lil apprehensive about it tackling steep hills as my area has a lot but with minimal pedaling you'll fly up hills . Past a guy fully rigged out on a bicycle yesterday on a large country hill he looked knackered! As i past him i shouted make way for the future !' PMSL.
Really happy with my purchase and hopefully get modding it soon maybe a little more power i think. 40 mph would be safer for keeping up with traffic etc than its 28 mph unlocked and a new paint job on the batteries and frame and hopefully find some one that can make a nice chopper style seat and some hydraulic brakes.

I've seen several people lock up the brakes. Hand strength and proper brake adjustments are key variables.
With adjustment, it can definitely be adjusted to work better. Paying 1k+, I expect these things to already be set out of the box. Some bikes come with perfectly adjusted derailleurs and brakes, and others come with everything out of wack. I test them as-is as I think how your bike is shipped says a lot about how much or little a company cares.
@EricReviews Customer service says alot as well. They are ignoring me. Won't answer calls or emails. Ordered one 2 weeks ago and FedEx trashed it and sent it back before getting to me. Now no one is responding to me. They got my money and I got nothing but stress. I would recommend another company that has descent customer service. They should have sent a replacement immediately but they seem to think FedEx mess up is on the customer as they wait to get the damaged one back before they think about doing anything. So instead of 4-5 days delivery, I'll be lucky to get it in 3 weeks, if I even get it, as they are ghosting me. Be ware of this shady company.

Unfortunately the revv1 is not a bike I own. Definitely looks like a solid bike though. A lot better specs, but also more than double the price. So in the end it just depends on your wants and needs in a bike
Is it legal to ride something like 38mph ebike with no license and stuff in illinois? Btw im also from oak park 😅

Class 3 ebikes are supposed to top out at 28mph so I guess anything above that would be illegal. I havent seen any surrons or crazy bikes like that in my area so I'm not sure what the general police perception of that is. The fastest bike I have goes 33mph and a few times I accidentally rode past cop cars going that speed and they just keep going, but I'm sure if they felt like it they could've stopped me. In general, I always try to slow it down near cops and then speed up once it's clear.

The brakes are pretty trash honestly, I wanna change them to hydraulic but I’m not sure which ones to get 🤔 if u have and suggestions I’d appreciate it a lot! I’m new to this so I don’t really know much yet. Also I’m thinking about making a TH-cam channel about daily rides bc it’s a pretty scenic view. What type of camera are you using bro?? Much love 🤙🏾
Hi, to improve the braking, I would recommend getting a hybrid hydraulic brake. It'll be the easiest way as all you need to do is replace the caliper. Many people with ebike have done this and have had a good increase in breaking power.
For riding footage I'm using a GoPro 9.
