4:50 "There seems to be no damage to the CPU..." lmao the hell there ain't. 1. You pulled the CPU out at an angle, so there's probably bent pins. 2. The heatsink's pipe is bent from you bending it instead of removing it, so as someone else said, the BIOS shut off the computer to prevent damage to the CPU or any other parts of the computer. 3. Don't fricken pull the damn CPU out of its socket like that. Since that's a laptop and not a desktop, the CPU draws your graphics. So while you might have a good CPU but you're not seeing anything on the screen, and there just so happens to be a few bent pins on the CPU, that's the problem. 4. Is that a school computer?!
Your cpu pins are destroyed... takes no pressure to put it in, and theres a gold triangle to show where it is supposed to go. You got tech in your channel name for what?
1:54 "It's made that way so you have to damage the heatsink to reach the processor" I laughed so hard I spit out my food. No bud, you have to remove the entire heatsink assembly before you can reach the processor. Nothing in a computer is designed to be "one use only."
the only reason there would have been any permanent damage is the lack of knowing what the hell you're doing and how sensitive the parts are oh my god this hurt to watch. Mind you I was looking up what happens if you pierce a cpu while it's in operation, so I came pretty close to what I was looking for
6:16 "maybe there is some damage to the cpu" i sure do wonder how it could be damaged after being dropped 5 times, dragged across the socket and desk with the pins facing down

He said that for that computer you can’t take the heat sink off the cpu without breaking it. You can it is just because you haven’t taken it apart completely!
This is the type of friend that'll destroy your electronics if you lend it to him. You start beating it for no reason at all because he has aggressive issues.
Somebody probably avoided answering that out of concern for not further impairing the mental well being of all the screaming, crying, pant shitting anal fuckwits that commented before you arrived ? My best answer is, well, looks very much like a coach load of hysterical pubescent teenagers flash mobbed the comments without reading it's title because that seems to be an obvious question to consider now that you ask it and I watched it to learn something, which wasn't expected to be revision of my psychiatric studies.
I just was curious about what would happen if the cpu was removed while running... But I see this, and the only thing I get is a heart attack, how you put the cpu like that???
As a word of advice NEVER EVER EVER EVER handle a CPU like that. You probably bent the pins and caused permanent damage to it. That is the reason it was wonky.
something i was wonder is , most newer graphics cards have plugs for more power to come into it and some poeple power them with an "external" power supply. i was wondering what would happen if the computer somehow lost power but there was still power going to the gpu through the external power supply. or maybe the other way around if the gpu loses power but the computer doesn't
Sir when I turn on my laptop there is a blue screen and my laptop goes shut down ... Yesterday when I open my laptop the processor was missing...... Tell me for that Is my laptop motherboard was damaged or it is only for missing of processor Please sir tell me
ok from what i remember using old CPU's if the heat sink is removed and the CPU is Running it would burn up 100 C + before you could remove it in the time span he did which doesn't seem right what so ever
*slides the cpu around like a hockey puck on an air hockey table*
Just gotta install this cee pee youu
WAHEEEEE
It hurts
Lmao bro I was so cringed up 😂😂😂😂
I’m wheezing😭
Yeee
To anyone that knows how to install a cpu u will cry
ye
I wanted so bad to see the pins 😂😂😂
yep
I was cringing so hard
Never done something like this myself but I've seen tens of videos (I ain't close to an expert). Yep, hurts.
The cpu now has PTSD.
You can't have PTSD if you're dead.........
So do I after watching that
That cpu on life support

“Well guys maybe there is some damage to the cpu”
Mmmmmmm yes I can feel the heat going into the heatsink, that means it’s working
never letting this guy work on my pc
Why not? He's really good with handling cpus.
Still better than linus

1st this is a test laptop not owned by anyone 2nd didnt you hear him say pls don try this at home
The CPU doesn't necessarily draw the graphics, for some laptops have dedicated iGPUs and basic chipset GPUs that draw the graphics.

If you looked at the top comment that is exactly what I said!
Omg the pins of that CPU just got rekt from sliding it around so much
Ikr it made me cringe so hard
Yes
Lol that was very hard to watch
Chuck Norris eh. Barely phases me, the thing wanted the sweet release of death.

Ya, how did he not break it

hi yeshi
Exactly. What a bozo
It's hilarious how badly everything is being handled in this video.
Ikr
My phone doesn't wanna buffer the video past 25 seconds just for my safety of getting mad at this guy, every other video works good.
Same
The cpu in your phone saw what happens in this video and was like "nah"
My phone literally popped the google speech up pausing the video just before he turns on the pc without processor
I hope this guy is just memeing

Yeah me too
Why? What bad things did he do?

Yeah no shit
there's a triangle on the motherboard btw so you can match up the triangle on
the cpu with the motherboard
Tech Life i know the btw meaning lol
Thanks so much! I appreciate the advice.
Or you can try to bruteforce it as he did ^^
Do you work for The Verge?
Lmaooo
The way he didn't even put the heatsink back on triggered my mind
The way he bent the cooler and installed the processor made me cry
It broke's my heart how he put his CPU Back in the motherboard

you should fear me.
this is actually painful.
That was the graphics processor, and it drives the monitor. The CPU ( microprocessor ) is embedded and is not user replaceable.
"As soon ad I unscrewed the *thing* to take the CPU out of its *module* "
I ... I feel like my brain is telling me: "Stop watching this, my cells are all leaving!"
..
"Let me silence this CPU fan" *mashes finger into the fan that keeps the cpu alive*
That screw is a lock lever so the pins make contact.
It shut down because it overheated to protect itself.

he didnt tho?

How the hell does that cpu still work. You must’ve bent half of those cpu pins

You should never EVER handle a cpu like that. The way it was put in in the video was very careless and bad. Always do it with caution. It’s not a toy.
i come back to this video like once a year
This hurt my soul. Thanks for showing us what happen. I wouldn't dare to try.
im surprised the computer even turned on again after you abused the cpu like that

the real reason why the cpu got damaged is because u were sliding it around the laptop like it was nothing
This man is playing like it's fucking legos with the CPU holy shit you slid it around like a 4-year-old.

You had to end this video when you took the CPU out. Thanks God, the CPU wasn't damaged.

As a word of advice NEVER EVER EVER EVER handle a CPU like that. You probably bent the pins and caused permanent damage to it. That is the reason it was wonky.
I am in shock that the computer actually booted after what you did to the cpu
Him putting the cpu back in was actually hilarious.
Hilarious? That shit was disturbing!!!
He freakin messes up the CPU and then afterwards says "huh thats weird, why did it turn off"
i almost cried because of those small bent pins on the cpu when you tried to put the cpu back
when does a laptop have a cpu like that. i thought it was soldered in also i dont think that heatsink is on it properly
removing the cpu fan from a computer is like removing air from a human
Lmao, I just saw you put the cpu in, I'm actually dead

i wouldn't even trust you with a VCR.
I wouldn't even trust him replacing batteries
I wonder why the pc isn’t working how it’s supposed to
He didnt apply new thermalpaste and also with this untegular pressure the cpu chip can break physicly
Thats a strong cpu supprised that all the pins haven't fallen off or bent with that cpu installation
Your IT guy would be spitting on your grave right now.
"Technology Repair" also him: 3:12
Imagine if he also accidentally dropped the cpu on the floor.
Don't try this at home guys, he's a professional
Next, we should see if a person will still talk after taking his brain out .
I love how he plugged it in like it’s a usb port
im gonna call your school and have your IT teacher arrested for child abuse.
Lol
The way you put that cpu back is WILD😂
something i was wonder is , most newer graphics cards have plugs for more power to come into it
and some poeple power them with an "external" power supply.
i was wondering what would happen if the computer somehow lost power but there was still power going to the gpu through the external power supply.
or maybe the other way around
if the gpu loses power but the computer doesn't
All of the motherboard and gpu use the same power supply.
from personal experience with a lose pcie cable, the pc will just turn off
You can simply screw out the heat sink and apply no pressure to installing the cpu
Sir when I turn on my laptop there is a blue screen and my laptop goes shut down ... Yesterday when I open my laptop the processor was missing...... Tell me for that Is my laptop motherboard was damaged or it is only for missing of processor

He manhandled that cpu.
How are you allowed near electronics?
ok from what i remember using old CPU's if the heat sink is removed and the CPU is Running it would burn up 100 C + before you could remove it in the time span he did which doesn't seem right what so ever
