sick stuff, Sam. i was utterly surprised when I saw that this only had 88 views, thought I was watching a 100k-ish channel's video before heading down to the description. keep up the good work, never been happier to subscribe to a channel!
That comment means a lot… thank you so much for the kind words! I tried to find a balance between quality and spontaneity for this video, and was worried it leaned a bit too far to the chaotic/spontaneous side lol. Glad it seems that I still managed to pull it off with this one! Thanks again for tuning in!
@@samkng all good! i wouldn't worry if i was in your shoes. i want to believe that youtube is still a platform where you don't need to bombard the viewer with constant subtitles and transitions in a span of a minute. i personally loved the video throughout it's whole. ones who did too will stick around ;)
Very interesting and entertaining vid. I'm not a drummer but learned some stuff and was fascinated by your process. Also, I like the open front bass drum... a cat could fit in there for a nap very nicely, of course when you are not playing. Thanks for the samples!
glad you found it entertaining! yeah, the drums have taken me on a pretty deep journey. now that i know all of this stuff about engineering the sound of the drums, i just have to get better at actually playing them 😅 and yes, many naps have been had in that bass drum by the cats haha (of course when i'm not playing)

I enjoyed watching and thank you for including the samples for free
of course! thought it'd be nice for people to have these drum sounds for their own productions. thanks for watching! glad you enjoyed the video!
Dude, you're diamond!
Haha thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video!
👏👏👏 nice! thx!!
Of course!! Had a lot of fun making this video! If you downloaded the samples, I hope you find a good use for them!
