I was a Rogue Company abandoner back in 2020. I moved to Valorant afterwards and the biggest difference was advertising. Rogue Company had a fair amount of content (skins, characters, maps), but simply didn't bother to give any of it substance the way Riot does with its trailers and in-game. I remember revisiting it back in late 2021 and the game had taken a weird turn where any character can use any gun, which turned Rogue Company into a unga bunga sniper fest and gave away the character uniqueness it had.
I remember playing it until a few months before it's sundown on Nintendo Switch, and needless to say, I can understand where you are coming from, but the system isn't as bad as you say. Yes, all characters can use more than their standard weapons, but it's only the same type of weapon they use (e.g ARs, Snipers, Shotguns, etc..), in which you had to fully master the weapon anyways for a full selection unlock. Even so, the Sniper problem does become realistic when someone masters the Sniper Rifle that Phantom and Runway uses, and uses it on any other character.
The characters were only aloud to select from the weapon types they had before. So no it wasn't an Unga bunga sniper fest unless they were using a sniper character.

@@jekkin8972 At its core and essence, there's no better game than Apex. One thing I wish they could do is make a defusal mode like Valorant or CS. Would work perfectly for a game like Apex, or at least something similar. My buddies and I have spoke about this for a while. Think of it this way, imagine you take everything from Apex, and slide it into Valorant? It would be better than Valorant 100%. Map design would be tough but the possibilities and chaos would be endless
Rogue Company and DirtyBomb are both pretty solid games that just fell off the map due to mismanagement. I hope people jump into THE FINALS to give it the start it deserves. Such a great game with moments unlike anything else I've played

The only reason why i would move TF2 up to unkillable is because of the in game economy thats worth over millions of dollars and how in depth it is. No other game on this list has an economy like TF2s
It's funny how you talked up Valorant 10 months ago to have it now on life support due to DMA bots and script cheating at an all time high and Vanguard 2.0 just coming out a month or so ago wiping 90% of the remaining player base as I forementioned above. It's funny how so much can change in this genre in such a short time. Anyway maybe do an update video on the state of these games 10 months later yeah?
If they didn't incorporate the NFT stuff into Shatterline and if it wasn't super finnicky with the connection issues and updates I'm convinced it would be THE first person shooter game
You can literally have a skin for every single weapon with 20 dollars if not more or less. Traders are the ones holding those expensive items and most of the time they sell it instead of using them
To be honest I don't agree with Paladins and TF2 because TF2 is the unkillable hero shooter, playerbase is still at solid 80k to 100k daily, while R6 is at 40k/50k and OW2 15k/25k. On the other hand Paladins is at risk of dying because many players are leaving to play OW and other hero shooters or just any other game, a few months ago it had 9k players daily, now its just at 4k and decreasing every month.
September update: Everything on dead except Valorant/Apex Legends/Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch on Unkillable. Team Fortress 2 on No Problem. New hero shooter are coming. Concord (already in dead tier list), Fragpunk, Spectre Divide and Mavel Rivals.
tf2 is sad. i LOVE the game but valve doesnt it should be unkillable tho, will easily last anotherr 7-10 years as long as community servers exist and ppl buy crates ppl will play and valve wont shut it down
Well soon a new one is coming to the tierlist, can't wait to see how it will go for them. If anyone wonders what game I talk about it's the Marvel Rivals.

I want the opinion of everyone who reads this... (Overwatch Player or not: Do you Think Overwatch would have succeeded if it came out today? In this scenario, Every other Hero shooter than came out still did come out, from Paladins to Apex Legends, and everything in between. Games that haven't come out like Marvel Rivals and Deadlock are still on their way. Do you think if Overwatch came out today (As the OG Overwatch or as today's Overwatch 2, whichever you think is better) would it find success and become as prominent of a hero shooter as it already is despite stiff competition? Or would it die out quickly from too much competition and lack of interest in hero shooters despite its good qualities? Reply to this comment why you do or don't think Overwatch would succeed if it came out today. Personally I think the only reason OW2 isn't dead is because fans from OW1 are quite loyal to the game they've been with for years, but let me know if you disagree
the thing with overwatch is that the game is unique, it doesnt have any real competition and theres no other game that feels exactly like it, like if i was a csgo player and i got tired of it i could go to valorant and viceversa but with overwatch you just have no other option, thats probably the reason it has lasted so long
This vid was very valid but didn’t age well Changing to the ranking Overwatch: Risk of dying Apex : risk of dying Both the game have they’re own communities which loves the game but they are in both very complicated situations Apex is having a slow decline due to lack of new content, the matchmaking, and a balancing of the that makes some characters always at the bottom of the pick rates list the game have some more issues but none of them ( in my opinion ) is effecting in an impactful manner the amount of players coming to the game nor staying. Overwatch has been in a tough month or two where the hero balancing overall wasn’t very much appreciated (this shown by a decent decrease in the amount of players in that period of time) but recently they made some great progress which could get easily get overlooked if not kept constant ‘cause of Marvel rivals, a, great hero shooter offering fresh gameplay that overwatch player could easily lean towards
I liked playing Gundam Evolution but after getting the news of an imminent shutdown, I chose to delete it because I was in a meh mood for it right then and much rather forget it than have it be a heartbreak when it dies right before me. I will miss it a bit but I have my memories of it and my Zaku II but that's all I can do.
Valorant is dying, content creators are quitting, the player base is at an all time low, and your being gaslit into thinking that valorant is fun, if your saying your being gaslit into thinking apexlegends is fun or overwatch, what do you think of a shooter thats just the same thing over and over again for like 1 hour? The competetive scene is also a mess, each kill is hardly noticable when you have rocket launchers that can kill 5 people at once, its way too complicated and its in a shit spot right now,
A part of me hoped this list included "Block n Load" but that game just isn't in anyone's radar (unfortunately) It was a fun game with some controversy behind it ( it wasn't Ace of Spades)
I got falsely banned off Paladins for use of 3rd party software after taking a 1 year break. They wouldn't even hear me out about this, so I just quit right then and there because I'm not making a new account just to risk getting banned again because according to them my slightly better than average aim is like an aimbot. It's sad because I played it since its beta and genuinely liked it. I play Valorant mostly now because there are no other hero shooters worth playing out there, I just hate that I can't run and gun there.
im an overwatch 2 player and my only experience with overwatch 1 was the beta. overwatch 2 has already gotten significantly better in just a year and im expecting it to keep getting better. a lot of us are excited and waiting for season 9 because its supposed to be a big season that fixes a lot of current issues or at least takes a bigger step in that direction.
i also have r6 that one of my friends in esports gifted me, i tried it, and it was soo complicated 😭 game looks fun as hell maybe i'll try it again one day
Oh how Ironic the TF2 one is 8 months later, with all the new maps, ban waves (or more accuratly tsunamis) and the fan made anti cheat coming out we are doing fone
The only reason games like Apex end up becoming 'not fun' is purely down to dopamine. Once you get good at a game, you start grinding and going for new heights, and that's when frustration comes in, because there's always someone better than you. It isn't fun to play solo though, although no-fill is a blast for me when I'm jamming alone. Definitely best played with a group of friends
I wanted PVE and more of overwatch story, but we got nothing and all I see now is an empty soulless game, I still play it with hope that OW1 will come back someday

Yea wish they did more with the game. It feels the best gameplay wise out of any of the battle royals. For me the combat is wayyyy more interesting and fun than things like fortnite(my opinion), love the movement
The first thing i saw on Steam, are Coins you can buy for real money. Looks like a other Tripple A scam to me
blud forgot pvz gw2
overwatch is the best game ever made, the pure dopamine you get from playing the game and doing crazy plays is insane. It's more addicting than fun for sure, but have enjoyed my 6 years playing the game 100%
say that to the Chinese 💀
you're actually funny, no sarcasm that made me wheeze 😂@@nine_moons3073
Funny enough overwatch 2 is doing better than apex at this point.
Aged like fine wine.
feel like its other way around for overwatch everyone is hating on it but if you talk to ppl who play it they say its actually pretty fun most of the time
Damn i miss rogue co.
Me and a group of 10 play still every night ! Still super active
Good to see the good live services are still maintaining their momentum.
This video was sponsored by far light
Bro no Garden Warfere games?
I still play shatterline and I find it extremely fun. I wish more people played this
same ❤
same@@snaggyak
it's still in early access he's a little harsh on them
Farlight 84 being under no problem did not age well haha
"Valorant skins are expensive"
Also csgo players: Bro, this ak that looks like a battle pass skin un VAL costs 3k, totally worth it
You can literally have a skin for every single weapon with 20 dollars if not more or less. Traders are the ones holding those expensive items and most of the time they sell it instead of using them
It’s so over for farlight 😢, I had over 400 hours on the game, only for them to remove the one thing that made it unique… :(
Did they remove more stuff after they got rid of the jet packs?

"wait it's all smii7y?"
"always has been"
To be honest I don't agree with Paladins and TF2 because TF2 is the unkillable hero shooter, playerbase is still at solid 80k to 100k daily, while R6 is at 40k/50k and OW2 15k/25k. On the other hand Paladins is at risk of dying because many players are leaving to play OW and other hero shooters or just any other game, a few months ago it had 9k players daily, now its just at 4k and decreasing every month.
September update:
Everything on dead except
Valorant/Apex Legends/Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch on Unkillable.
Team Fortress 2 on No Problem.
New hero shooter are coming.
Concord (already in dead tier list),
Fragpunk, Spectre Divide and Mavel Rivals.
tf2 is unkillable now
Bad news is that Spectre Divide isn't looking too hot
tf2 is sad. i LOVE the game but valve doesnt
it should be unkillable tho, will easily last anotherr 7-10 years
as long as community servers exist and ppl buy crates ppl will play and valve wont shut it down
Who let bro cook? 💀
Well soon a new one is coming to the tierlist, can't wait to see how it will go for them. If anyone wonders what game I talk about it's the Marvel Rivals.
farlight was such an ad
i love playing ow2 (i hate my life everytime i play it)
You’re right. I haven’t enjoyed apex in a while, but I try to enjoy it and it’s just not hitting the spot anymore. I’ll give Farlight a shot.
Never cook a tier list again
Dirty bomb mentioned in 2023 holy fuck, love that game, i have 5,500 hours in game
I dont usually pull this card, but my guy's entire Apex rant just screamed someone who sucks at the game
The game’s boring as hell tbh and they need to do something new to bring new and old players back like more games modes
this deserves more views
9:25 the studio was also based in Kyiv so they had trouble making this game bc a short man who hasn’t seen sunlight in 15 years went into to the country.
where is titanfall sage
Personally I think the only reason OW2 isn't dead is because fans from OW1 are quite loyal to the game they've been with for years, but let me know if you disagree
valorant and "i recognize a good game when i see it" should never be spoken in the same sentence
You might wanna update farlight
Good news, tf2 got fixed
Paladins is unrironically a great game, it deserved so much more
Dirty bomb is a lot fun Back in the days
Needed "The Finals" on this list as a newcomer
the thing with overwatch is that the game is unique, it doesnt have any real competition and theres no other game that feels exactly like it, like if i was a csgo player and i got tired of it i could go to valorant and viceversa but with overwatch you just have no other option, thats probably the reason it has lasted so long
I've played overwatch for 2 years now and I love it. I normally get a 4 stack with my brother and friends which help keep the game fun.
Tf2 needs a tier above unkillable. You cannot expect the Spirit of that Game to be rivaled by any other of these games.
This vid was very valid but didn’t age well
Changing to the ranking
Overwatch: Risk of dying
Apex : risk of dying
Both the game have they’re own communities which loves the game but they are in both very complicated situations
Apex is having a slow decline due to lack of new content, the matchmaking, and a balancing of the that makes some characters always at the bottom of the pick rates list the game have some more issues but none of them ( in my opinion ) is effecting in an impactful manner the amount of players coming to the game nor staying.
Before Overwatch 1, Firefall had to fail and it did by changing it's TF2 inspired classes way too many times.
Was not expecting to enjoy this video .
Guess what I couldn't skip 😂❤
I liked playing Gundam Evolution but after getting the news of an imminent shutdown, I chose to delete it because I was in a meh mood for it right then and much rather forget it than have it be a heartbreak when it dies right before me. I will miss it a bit but I have my memories of it and my Zaku II but that's all I can do.
Bro lives in a different universe
Dirty Bomb was a great game. Its gunplay was the perfect blend of CoD and Counter-Strike plus the medics of Battlefield.
See Apex in Unkillable nowdays is funny not gona lie 😅
Valorant is dying, content creators are quitting, the player base is at an all time low, and your being gaslit into thinking that valorant is fun, if your saying your being gaslit into thinking apexlegends is fun or overwatch, what do you think of a shooter thats just the same thing over and over again for like 1 hour? The competetive scene is also a mess, each kill is hardly noticable when you have rocket launchers that can kill 5 people at once, its way too complicated and its in a shit spot right now,
Esport game of the year… esport is so important for these games, like league, cs and why they last for a decade now.
yeah, game is dying, only 25 million players monthly, sad
A part of me hoped this list included "Block n Load" but that game just isn't in anyone's radar (unfortunately)
It was a fun game with some controversy behind it ( it wasn't Ace of Spades)
i think overwach can be really big in next few years cuz finally blizard is doing something
I used to grind dirty bomb with a friend but the official servers shut down and we stopped playing
I play Valorant mostly now because there are no other hero shooters worth playing out there, I just hate that I can't run and gun there.
im an overwatch 2 player and my only experience with overwatch 1 was the beta. overwatch 2 has already gotten significantly better in just a year and im expecting it to keep getting better. a lot of us are excited and waiting for season 9 because its supposed to be a big season that fixes a lot of current issues or at least takes a bigger step in that direction.
i also have r6 that one of my friends in esports gifted me, i tried it, and it was soo complicated 😭
game looks fun as hell
maybe i'll try it again one day
Dirty Bomb man... I used to love it back in 2016
As an Overwatch fan, I hate it!, but il never stop playing it!
Paladins and OW2 are on life support. And TF2 is the definition of unkillable, 3 years of no updates and the game still refuses to die.
Oh I'm happy you talk about Dirty bomb! I do like this game
Oh how Ironic the TF2 one is 8 months later, with all the new maps, ban waves (or more accuratly tsunamis) and the fan made anti cheat coming out we are doing fone
dude that's clearly perry the platypus
damn, i never thought this many of shooter games.
Apex use to be fun but now i rather just play BG3 i like to relax and have fun not feel frustrated
Farlight killed itself.
It's community was so dedicated.
i think Paladins could really have a resurgence if they released a sequel like overwatch, people hate overwatch, now would be the perfect time to capitalise.
