- Guys the very first metal diff housing made for this car and it fits perfectly !! Also, a quick easy mod in how to minimize A-arm play and take a look at the -Bone basher bumpers!! Just awesome!!

Nice setup! You should’ve done a video on setting up the differential and spacing and what bearings you use in there. As well as the shimming and differential oils used as well as what grease you use. I ordered mine still waiting but I ordered new center portions as well as bevel gears and also new input shafts I want to set it up to never work there again. Should I try and get hold of abec 9 bearing for it? What oil cst should I use?
Thanks brotha I may do a second video if I decide to swap out the front diff housing to metal and make it into a how to video! I used DHK shims and the rear weight oil is tamiya 1 million weight "blue oil" almost runs like a locked diff!'Also use Tamiya grease "their grey stuff" and I spray everything down with silicone spray first, gears, bearings, everything!!
Thanks for the info will try and get that 1 000 000 oil in South Africa. The how to will be really cool. Do you upgrade the bearings? Especially the bevel gear bearings.

It will do backflips on punch 1, i do not use weights but id prefer a drag style wheelie bar so as to not put more stress on the drivetrain with the additional weight 👊👍✌️maybe retrofit a Tbone drag bar

Did you have any problem with the metal
diff housing? Did you grind some of the metal housing to get the gears to fit properly?
I recall having to use extra shims to get everything to line up!

they dont make a 6S powered JLB Cheetah. As far as how fast I never tested the top speed but it will be much faster than 3 or 4S ;)

On 6S the bevel gears wear out fast!!! 4S is better 3S will get you the longest life on the drivetrain!!

@@JapanRCAdventuresS In like to see the list & price of all of your mods. I'm currently looking to buy the Revo vlx, kraton or 120a JLB cheetah. I'm Split between price and durability. I'm trying to make the best decision.
Let me know your suggestion on a rc selection.
The JLB is a great car but you need to put in alot of wrench time and bottles of loctite, patience with parts since they come from China and you need to mod your slipper clutch which is a Japan RC Adventures exclusive mod for this particular car if you are looking at going towards extreme power like 6S!! Now the Revo is cool and you can get parts at your local hobby shop but between the three cars id go with the Kraton and immediately order hot racing chassis braces and a hot racing rear wing mount and a TBone racing front bumper, dont forget to get a rear chassis guard like an RPM one if you are going with an Arrma wheelie bar or the TBone wheelie bar which protects underneath the chassis!! Youll be the happiest going that route rest assured my friend!! Kraton all the way and dont buy the 4S crap Arrma is coming out with!! Go 6S - Arrma does not know how to make a good all plastic car yet!! 😂😂😂 I STILL prefer my Chineese cars over ANYTHING Arrma 4S!!
