Its a beast! I love mine! Replace all screws and pillowballs with stainless steel (stock are made of butter!) and put 3000cwt oil in front diff, 5000cwt in rear diff and it handles like a dream! Ive upgraded my tx/rx to the x6 with gyro which i can strongly suggest cos then you can do mad 50ft smooth drifts on loose stuff like that!

while the dumbo rc transmitter is relitively inexpensive it is actually feature packed and lots of people talk about how good it is and the range is said to be great .

The all metal would bend the chassis like all arrma cars do. Better to have some plastic on the chassis too. My cheetah chassis is perfectly straight. My kraton and notorious are bent. Only arrma car I own without a bent chassis is my infraction and that's only because I dont bash it since it's a road car.
Yes for sure you need a little plastic to absorb the crash forces. All metal and the energy just finds the weakest point. 😊👍🏼
Isn't that pirates 3 a 8th scale model? Every other TH-cam channel will say the cheetah is excellent quality and as for pirates 3 they all say the _plastic is weak rather brittle??
Yeah not sure why they would unless it's brand snobbery but my ZD Racing BX-8E & EX07 have been bullet proof. The BX-8E has been beaten and jumped and rolled and crashed and nothing has broken.
Friend takes a doubt I don't know which battery to buy for my automodel tell me a brand there please?
I use ampow. Amazing batteries that for me have not failed once.
Wicked beast-when i bought mine i was wondering how to afford some 4s batteries-having taken it out i then decided i dont need em-its so quick! The only thing i hate is the tyres-they balloon like crazy on 3s never mind 4s. Its about time manufacturers start supplying wheels that actually let you use the full potential of the car without spending another 80 quid on decent tyres! Edit it has a slipper clutch no centre diff!

Hiya. I am sure it could.... But have never tried. You can drive slowly with it but even a slight over movement of the throttle and it will blast off like a rocket.
Just got to the end where you talk about breakage-the wing mount is useless, just about everyone breaks the wing off in very short order. I ordered two just in case, they are only about £3! It is very weak.

Banggood hooked you up brother!!!! I have the 21101 80amp cheetah and love it! The dogbones bend from time to time is the only problem I have had with mine the spoiler wing broke off on bad landing at bmx track besides that the cheetah has held up well for me😊 You got the better and bihger esc and the dumbo transmitter and receiver as well. It's such an awesone rc enjoy and thanks for sharing💯😊
Hiya Josh and yes they sure did! Such a great rc truggy and can't wait to spend a lot more time with it. Yes you are now the third person saying about the rear wing mount but that's not a big issue at all. Cheapest to replace I think. Dogbones again can be straightened but new are probably better. Good morning Joey. I'm sorry to hear that. I unfortunately do not know what can be causing that unless the throttle trim on the transmitter is set all the way forward. If its not that then there is a very helpful jlb cheetah group on Facebook where owners share a lot of information.

I think I got it, but the funny thing that happened.
My throttle nob is at the bottom right and over it is like the same.
So I set my throttle to like 25% and the top I turned it higher and my wheels started to move by itself and when I push to stop it, I was going faster.
So I turn that all the way down and nothing work.
So keeping my throttle at 25% ...I then turned the top nob up just a little so now my forward and reverse is working
But I'm on channel 2.
My question...when I turned up the top round nob to much over the throttle nob...was that the reverse?
I'm looking at getting a jlb cheeta which modle is the toughest out of them or are they all about the same
I know the newest version suffered with being a little fragile. Another TH-camr broke it within 5 minutes. Saying that I can only recommend the one I own being the 21101 and it has never broken except for a rear with mount. The recent weird sound was because the motor moved slightly and the spur and pinion were not touching correctly. All fixed in 2 minutes.

Oh blimey. Uhm..... OK. Can't remember last week but let me think. 18-19 months old. Still haven't gotten around to checking the diffs or cleaning it once.... Still going strong! 💪😁
Whic one is better j3 or 21101?
Good morning. I don't own a j3 so unfortunately it's hard to me to compare between the two. What I would say from what I just noticed is that the j3 looks like its slightly more tarmac suitable than the 21101 so you need to decide where you will drive it most. They are both so similar that I don't think there is a right or wrong pick. Both of them will be awesome! 😉😊👍👌

Hiya. We have had it at the speed run area and it's gone a good 150m away without issues. Not once have we lost signal with this car which is good as its heavy and fast so you want and need to be in control! 😉👌
Good review John n son. Like you I hesitate because of the price. This is a expensive buy in Australia as well. I have 2 144001's and they break all the time. Then I got a LC Truggy much better and Fast, but i still break little things. I am looking for something stronger. This JLB Cheeter 120a looks good. Its been 6 mts since this vid. and i am wondering how its holding up? Regards Grant.
Hiya Grant. To be honest, the only thing I would recommend is watching the video on fixing the ballooning on this car! Now it's an amazing car where as before it was hard to Control and felt a little dangerous. 😂😂 We broke a rear wing mount and that's it. Nothing since and we have bashed it a lot! It loves jumps. Loves gravel of course but also handles tarmac much better since "fixing" the tyres. So if you decide to order, make sure you order one or two rear wing mounts. It's a heavy truck and all that weight in the rear wing in a bad landing will of course break it.

Hiya @Friendly Demon and depends if you want to drive on road and offroad. If you want to drive on both then you could look at the ZD RACING BX-8E but for bonkers speed the Cheetah is great. Even better since I fixed the ballooning broken with the tyres. Now the car handles much better. Video is out tomorrow showing how much better it is. 😊

Great video but I think that you should keep in mind the problems with its really soft front and rear dog bones ( you can easily bend them back though ) and the front differential !!!!! now there's a problem - on the other hand you can play with it in a rear drive mode !!!!

Hiya. I am sorry but I have not reviewed the ZD Racing 9021. I looks good though. It looks very similar to my ZD Racing BX-8E and i think most people know that's its my current favourite rc car so if the 9021 is anything like the BX-8E then I would go for that one. However if you like bonkers crazy fast speed then the Cheetah is amazing. Since I have fixed the tires of the Cheetah with gorilla tape to stop then tyres ballooning the Cheetah is much more pleasant and enjoyable to drive. 😊 Have a lovely evening. Kind regards, John. 😊

@@JohnRobinsonRC thats ok John, just make sure you use plenty of pressure in the sockets and turn firmly and carefully, maybe use the rubber band trick for extra bite, and get the soldering iron out to heat up the locktite on the metal parts , but im sure you'll gauge it yourself when you get round to it. I have had one of these beasts for over A month. And it is truly amazing! Drive it almost every day! The only thing I do not like Are the shocks.,They Are s bouncy!
Heavier shock oil, around 700-800cst will sort that!

Olá e bem-vindo. É por causa da velocidade que a roda gira, ela faz algo chamado balonismo, que faz com que o diâmetro do pneu aumente. Espero que isso faça sentido? Hello and welcome. It is because of the speed that the wheel is turning it does something called ballooning which causes the tire to increase in diameter. Hope that makes sense?

The speed is reduced by a little but you gain the control. You will see when you drive it how bonkers uncontrollable it is. 😉 Red Wing was from Aliexpress.
