Top tip: If you dont want to blow shocks, make bumpstops for the shocks. It will also save your under carriage. Also, toe out the rear for more stability under load. WHen it squats, the rear is unstable because of negative toe.
That's a horrible idea! In an rc car you definently want the suspension to bottom out and the chassis to slap the ground. Bump stops put a lot of load on the whole car on big jumps. Rc cars never have them for a reason.

For sure. I got my 1/18 to 49mph with barely any space to run on stock wheels and shocks
I built one that was down right ridiculous as far as style and speed or what not but once you start hiting them with that power its a wrap. Cartwheels and uncontrollable flips out the butt. Not sure if you can share pictures on here but its beast and has that little cheap aluminum chasis with that companies logo lazer cut out of the center. Its like jinkzi or something to that affect.
This thing is insane and I ran mine with the 3s battery that came with it. I got the truggy version because I liked the tires and the wheelie bar better on that one. Also 120amp version. This thing will give you an adrenaline rush and night driving is fun because the LEDs are so bright. This RC is SICK!!!!
You need to make some hydroplaning videos! I want to see that thing on water, also I think these videos will be very popular :D

I love my Cheetah ive got mine running on 4 and 6S 2200kv motor, Kraton wheels 150amp ESC, a testament to good these "dirt cheap" cars really are!! Great video 🔥👍✌️

if you want a cheap quick RC for beginners, i recommend the Tamiya TT02. lots of parts and customization on the cheaper side. pretty quick too.

Look at the Traxxas and arrma equivalent of this car. This is definitely a lot cheaper but I'd still take an arrma over it

Remember when u ran the rig Pirates 2 n I told u my buddy got one for review n he used the Cheetah electronics on it n it was crazy fast, he told me when he got this Cheetah it was quick

The best starter RC is a 2wd slash. It is fast enough it is very balanced and lasts long after you step into the wonderful world of 4wd RC’S

Guys GPS is unreliable for fast acceleration by default. It always must catch up with your speed change, which has its latency. So longer track and steadier acceleration

Thanks for leaving the how to build a monster truck out of the into got sick of being reminded of it while there was no progress happening. Don't quit on the dream of building it, can't wait to see some parts go on to it. Heck go get a regular truck swipe the axels and engine and get the project started and upgrade slowly when you can.

I see there are a lot of you bent out of shape because he said this truck is dirt cheap. And comparatively, it is. You're saving at least $100+ off of a similar Traxxas or Arrma model. The parts don't carry the premium of those brands, either. The cheaper models from the other manufacturers DON'T COMPARE. This doesn't compare to a 2WD Rustler XL-5, or a Mega Senton. And why would you spend that much money on one of those, when for only a little more you could have this truck instead, especially if you're already in this hobby?
Finally you answered my question whether or not the blue is faster than the orange

Hey kev, it would be really cool for you to get a car for around 150, because that is what I would consider “dirt cheap” and i am looking for a better rc car, my first one I got a few months ago and it was around $60 and goes about 18-20 mph but I am 15, and don’t have a job, so a video on some cheaper ones would be really cool
For the price and the beating you gave it... best RTR basher I’ve seen. I sold the latest 1/10 or 1/8 (depending on who you talk to) brushless e-re because it broke every time... no metal parts out of the box... shameful money grab.. IMHO. Cheers for the review! I may go shopping;)

That is a hobbywing esc. It's the undranded rtr sc8. Just picked one up, probably one of the best budget esc's on the market right now at right around 50$. The hobbywing program box is compatible as well 🤘!

Hey Kevin Talbot, my names Chris Kosza I'm 33yrs old and I'm a huge rc enthusiast I love arrma's stuff so far I've had a kraton then I traded my Kraton for an Outcast because well it's a stunt truck and that's kinda what I was after at the time. Also I have a JLB Cheetah wich for the money as you know it's a damn good truck 45mph stock with the 3s lipo. Now over the past year I've broken a few things on my outcast I didnt get it brand new. I wanted to transform my outcast into a notorious, from that I've seen it looks like a simple body swap I guess I'm just curious what you reccomend I get as far as any upgraded parts you think I may need for sure? I'm a huge fan over the past couple years I got back into the rc scene when I seen these electric RC's going 55-60mph!!! Wow! So rite then I knew I wanted one, unfortunately rite now I'm going thru alot personally, I'm not looking for sympathy or anything but the past 2 yrs of my life I've lost both grandparents, my father, my aunt, my baby sister (31yrs old) :(. So I kinda fell into a deep state of depression and at this point I'm seriously lost I'm working part time rite now because I have 2 surgically repaired shoulder and a metal plate in my wrist from driving around with my Siberian husky on my e-skateboard goes about 20mph. So I'm at my waist end. Sorry about this long message but if you have just 5mins for me from one rc enthusiast to another maybe you could call me and help me make some better decisions!?!?!?. I really hope you can find it in your heart to give me a quick call, I'll send you my phone number if you respond to this message because I truly am in a horrible place financially. For example to fix my cheetah and outcast to notorious the cheetah only needs like 40 dollars worth of parts where's the Outcast need new better wheels my crazy ass put a 22t speed gear on my arrma and it was just way to much too end 2 of the 3 of the 4 tired expanded and blew up:( so for that I need a new set of wheels preferably good ones maybe you have a cheap set I can buy from you as you know there the 17mm hex for the outcast but for a good tire it can get quite expensive! Not really worried about cheetah I want that notorious build done first. If you guys want an actual dirt cheap/fun RC truck that can take a beating you can get a 9125 rc truck. It's a little smaller than this truck and slower of course. It has dual brushed motors and is 4wd. It is aggressive though and really fun. It's like 90 bucks on banggood.
