Honestly, being a Seahawks fan, I was saddened to see Russ traded to the Broncos. I still remember all the amazing years he gave to the Seahawks and all the thrills he gave us fans. When Denver treats their players this way, it shows what kind of organization they really are and also the real reason they can't make the playoffs. He'll land somewhere and make an immediate positive impact. Not only is he still an elite QB, he's also a top notch man.

The original sin was the hiring of Nathaniel Hackett to be head coach. He wasn’t up to the job. Then giving Russell Wilson that massive contract before he played a down was stupid. If one person is to blame, it’s GM George Paton. Wilson can’t really complain. He’s walking away with about $85 million after two years in Denver. That’s just sick.
I had a lot respect for Sean Payton I’m a Bill Parcel fan the greatest coach ever he won’t have never done that to his players Sean should have done that to drew Brees in his last season drew made a lot mistakes Bill parcel was about winning he clashed with Jerry Jones so I was shocked to see Sean do that they really could have made the playoffs with Russ

I saw that on t.v. when Payton was yelling at him like a maniac. Everyone new what he was trying to do, get him to react to void the contract in some way. You never seen Payton react like that the entire time he had Bries or any other player in N.O. Grimy and slimy.
I respect Russell Wilson for how he handled himself.

He knows the rules.
Why he would terminate something vital just in case he gets hurt🤷🏾♀️and the way I took it was they was planning to hurt him so he wouldn't be able to play 🤷🏾♀️
