    11:30. Câncer, dementia, Alzeimer, parkinson can be caused by excess inflamattion, wich is caused by excess insulin, wich is caused by excess sugar/glicose/carbs. 14:42: Low carb, high fat, IF diet is ideal diet to prevent/treat these conditions.

    I'm "binge watching" your videos, Dr. Cywes, only having discovered them this afternoon. In just the roughly 50 minutes I've watched so far, you've clarified a multitude of issues I've been experiencing while being on the keto diet. I've only been on it for nine weeks, after a lifetime (67 years) of the S.A.D., but while I've lost weight (47 pounds, with a lot more to lose) and my a1c has dropped 3 points, down to a far better 5.9, I've also begun to experience a huge amount of pain, as if all the inflammation of arthritis has flared up once more. NOW I understand---even though I've been eating very low carb, I haven't been eating much in the way of meat, and I really, really, REALLY "LIKE-LIKE" meat a lot (like-like is a former coworker's way of saying "love" without overusing that word)!
    As of right now, I'm going to watch everything you have posted on YT, but having watched the one regarding carnivore eating, I'm first going to have a very large hamburger steak (my favorite "cut" of beef). I eat only OMAD, just preferring it, and right now is meal time, so I'm off for that, then more of your highly informative videos.

    Dr Cywes, thanks for the great explanation of autophagy. Your talks are changing lives! Mine included. I've survived cancer, various autoimmune itis's, hashimotos and an ongoing neurological diagnosis. I'm over six months into keto and intermittent fasting and having great success. I'm no longer obese or hungry all the time! I am hopeful for some healing from my many decades of carb addiction and inflamation ignorance. I am a realist but I'd love to surprise my neurologist. Blessings to you.

    Psalm 139: .... 13 For You formed my inward parts;
    You [f]covered me in my mother’s womb.
    14 I will praise You, for [g]I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    Marvelous are Your works,
    And that my soul knows very well.
    15 My [h]frame was not hidden from You,
    When I was made in secret,
    And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
    16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
    And in Your book they all were written,
    The days fashioned for me,
    When as yet there were none of them.
    17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
    How great is the sum of them!
    18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;

    Thank you so much for the information in this video. I discovered your channel yesterday and subscribed last night. I was diagnosed with autoimmune disease three years ago (rheumatologist in U.S. said SLE affecting four body systems and rheumatologist in U.K. where I now live says Mixed Connective Tissue Disease). So many medications to manage the condition, so much of life chipped away by the limitations of the body as it tries to cope. I will begin applying the dietary principles I am learning from you as an addendum to my medical treatment. You give me hope that in time I will be able to reduce my medications. This video really speaks to me. I've requested the C-Reactive Protein yearly for the last 16 years . I say that because my doctor feels the test is not a useful tool or does not know what to do with it. Over the years, its increased from 4.1 to last years high of 15. This year it was 12.5, but it was due to cutting ny carbs to between 5-15 grams/day and losing over 100 lbs. I assume lowering the number is a slow process, so I will continue getting the test until it is normal. I have always felt that inflammation is at the root of most diseases. Thanks, Dr. Cywes for breaking it down in layman's terms.

Thanks for the great biology lesson. It's all about staying in "gentle vibration," instead of in disruptive inflammatory storms. I do not want to chew myself up without realizing it. The best approach has been Mikhaila Petersons Lion diet (Red meat, salt and water) as a 30-60 day "cleanse". And then practice adding things back in. I have to be careful with pork (and it's my favorite, especially bacon and sausage).

    Here's my question: why don't doctors know this or act like they know all of this? If they're taught this information do they forget? Do they get so wound up in feeding people medicine for pain they forget there are actually ways to help people? I can't imagine that all of them are these money hungry entities trying to tell people the wrong info just to get paid back by a pharmacy or insurance company or have forever patients. Mine included. She seems like a really decent person but all of these ideas just seem foreign to her and I know she means well.

    Hi Rob, I am 51 years old and have been doing keto and IF for 1 year now but my psoriasis is still inflamed.
    How long does it normally take to reverse insulin resistance to a point where my psoriasis will go away?
    Thank you for all your videos as I love your no BS straight to the point way of laying down the facts.
