  • Your LIVER MAKES FAT (TRIGLYCERIDES) TO PROTECT YOU FROM TOXIC LEVELS OF SUGAR. PHARMA PROFIT INCENTIVE DOES IT AGAIN!!! Now a pill to stop your liver making fat. THIS IS AN ESSENTIAL PATHWAY THAT THE LIVER USES TO PROTECT YOU FROM HIGH BLOOD SUGAR. Pharma is obsessed with fixing numbers using drugs instead of EDUCATING you about CAUSE and EFFECT. This is pharma at its worst. Please leave comments.

Very informative, I personally think the drug has no chance of being a blockbuster, the current GLP-1’s are treating the underlying conditions that lead to fatty liver. And currently, several trials are showing 80% normalization of liver in 2-3 months with new GLP-1’s. The Retatrutide is a GLP-1’s that added a 3rd agonist being the Glucagon Agonist that they say is a game changer for fatty liver. If done right, can clear the liver, but the patient needs proper nutritional changes and healthy lifestyle to sustain it and not allow you to slip back. What we will have in 5 years is a chemical war between the food industry and the 2 pharmaceutical industries. I know for a fact that the food industry is funding studies to see what they can change in the food to counter the GLP-1’s hurting their profits(make you more addicted and bypass the appetite suppression) And you know who is helping them. The other Pharmaceutical industry that will lose billions to GLP-1’s because if you metabolically fix 20% of the population and change their eating habits. Just think of the long list of drugs they profit from treating chronic illnesses, not curing, that are all related to our poor eating from the food industry.

I'm so glad to see Dr. Cywes speaking out about this issue. It's obvious that most doctors and pharmaceutical companies are more concerned with making money than they are with helping people. Dr. Cywes is right to call out this blatant profit incentive, and to warn people about the dangers of taking prescription drugs that aren't necessary. We need to educate ourselves about the underlying causes of our illnesses and find ways to treat them that don't involve pharmaceuticals.

Doctor I just came across your channel and love it. The first video is the one about a CAC for patients. You are a gem.of a doctor. I have an issue with my PCP. He does not listen.to what I have to say. Can you please help me. I am a 73 years female and have never taken any meds until last month when my doctor prescribed meds for me for high BP. Seemy Bp and BSugar is elvated a bit. He is telling me I am dehydrated and don't drink enough water.i drink 2 big 64 oz bottles of water. And I eat low carb the keto but I am not losing any weight. I keep telling my doctor that it is my liver because it feels like its swollen I am asking for an ultra sound but he is telling me its diabetes and I have to be on statins and metformin. I dont want to take any prescribed drugs. I have no gallbladder and had a complete hysterectomy without having and HRT treatments, I have never had any symptoms of diabetes but my hair is thinning and I have anxiety and is very fearful and constipated and do have brain fog and depressed. I keep telling my doc. It could be my thyroids to send me to test my TSH and T4 but he said that I am over 70 so I dont need those test. I eat one meal a day and have started intermittent fasting eating between 18/6 window a day! But still BP and BSugar is high even if I dont eat anything when I test my blood is high. Like 167 or sometimes189 I think I have fatty liver. I have an appointment with my P CP he said he is going to prescribe meds for me at this visit .please help me ! I also have sciatic nerve pain on both feet.and get feet cramping almost everyday even though I drink 2 bottles of water 64 oonces per day! Thankyou and God bless.

Dr. Cywes, as a person with fatty liver disease I am somewhat perplexed by the statement of a low to no carb diet will fix a fatty liver in 7 or so days. I have been almost no carb for 120 days, and my protein intake isn't too high. Yet my fatty liver persists?? I was diagnosed with Portal Vein Hypertension, via the radiologist finding the PV at 1.6 CM. However, as of the last liver ultrasound there is no report of the PVA. However, now the radiologist is indicating fibrosis, cirrhosis, and liver surface nodules. I'm wondering if this is really very accurate. I wish the VA would let you be my doctor, but I hardly think that will happen. Anyway, I just wanted to say something about the 7 day low carb and NAFLD reversal.

How come most doctors do not test for reverse T3, RT3???
It seems they test for T4 and T3 and if you have low T3, they prescribe something like levothyroxin (T4) and what that does is increase both RT3 and T3. They did not change the T3/RT3 ratio and probably made it worse???? Do I have this correct??? Raising T4 increases both RT3 and T3. Is that a true statement??? My wife, in the last 5 decades, has NEVER had an RT3 test. Finally, she requested one after researching the issue. Her RT3 returned as high, 31.2, and her T3 was a 2.
Strick carnivore 3 years, ketogenic 5 years.

I'm male, 65 Carnivore 15 carb for 18 months with very little weight loss. A few months ago, I went to an urgent care to try to get gabapentin for severe neuropathy in the feet. I found out I had an A1C of 10 and hypertension (168/85). Saw an Endocrine and went on insulin and lisinopril and was told I am type 2. Since the insulin for 10 weeks I've been gaining about 1 lb/week. I've got my A1C down to 6.5 ish and BP at 130/75. Had 3 sets of labs in 1 month. All good numbers in the middle. Can't find out why low, low carb won't generate weight loss. I've seen 4 doctors including a Cardiologist. No one, I mean NO One will order a fasting insulin or C Peptide. I'm going to an inde testing lab for the C Peptide and maybe hormone's. I would pay for email consultation. I still need to wait till mid Aug to see a low carb keto Dr. they are rare and hard to see. Thanks for your video's. Love them and learn a lot!

@@olderandwiser127That sounds almost unattainable. Professional bodybuilders get to single digit fat and use up to 1,000 grams of carbs daily using the drugs the doc mentioned in the video. Yet it’s almost always the kidneys or heart valve issues that kill them as opposed to liver disease.

So am I getting this right - reduction/elimination of surgars/carbs fixes the liver and eliminates hypothroid?? I have had hypothyroid for 2 decades, but no doc has told me of any liver conditions. I eat a screwy diet (Gerd & gluten free, and no meats, poultry or seafood yhat clogs my esophogus) since 1980's when half my colon was removed, including illium, part of stomach, gallbladder and, more recently, rebuilt esophagus due to erosion and have ongoing gastro inflamation. I am going to pass this vid to my PCP. Also changing to traditional Medicare as of Jan 1st so maybe I can see you.
