Sumas was one of the first real mountains I learned to ride on back in the day. Always holds a special place for me. Shame that the cabin surrounded by ladder bridges is gone now. Such a cool forest there
@@DaleStone ya it was super cool! You do the techy rock part at the top, go through the first little clearcut and then the section with the little jumps, it was off to the left. If you watch drop in season 3 it shows it pretty well
Hey Dale! I recently commented on another one of your videos about having to live vicariously through videos after an injury. I got an update and its worse than I thought! I reruptured my acl, have bad bone bruising, and messed up my lateral meniscus and lcl. Quite some damage! So you definitely have a dedicated viewer for at least the next 9-12 months! Keep up the great work. Love the videos and your personality!
I am very here for the Claymore Content with Steve! The riding banter with you guys is so back and forth that it makes for especially entertaining footage imo. I've been watching your channel since 9.8 was the only partner, and it's awesome to see you now with such great supporters, riding such a great bike, and still creating the same great POV content. P.S. Steve, are you also running Onyx hubs? The bikes are SO quiet all throughout.
Hadn’t checked my TH-cam feed in a while and I find I have two new Dale Stone vids to check out. Nice end of humpday treat! I’ve still to ride Sumas, and I won’t be riding what you ride, but I know there is some variety there with stuff at my level that I can hit! Now to check vid #2!
Finally got to know what happened on your side when I navigated my exhausted self down the hill in the dark. Btw, with same gloves, similar jersey sleeves and same color of grips, I would pretend your footage to be mine, lol.
Interested which tyre casing/compound you use on these sort of rides. Do you go for burly DD maxxgrip for puncture protection but soul destroying on the climbs? Or lighter to make the climbs not quite as hellish
My bike has Assegai MaxxGrip, EXO+ 19psi front, DHF2 MaxxTerra EXO+ 22psi rear. I'm light, so I can get away with lighter casings. Dale runs Delium tyres, He can tell you what compounds, I can't remember.
I used Delium Rugged Reinforced tires. I find they're a great max grip substitute; name brand performance at almost literally half the price! bit.ly/DeliumDaleStone
Normally, I would say that it was likely me almost crashing, but I think that one was intentional, because riding on woodwork was absolutely terrifying that day.
Wish you could show some of those rock drops from the bottom or with 3rd person camera view like in your shorts. Difficult to see how gnarly some of those features are through the go-pro pov
Awesome! Take your show on the road someday - Wiltse in Penticton - G Spot, Six Stiches, then back up - Devils Throat, Egg Rock, LowRida - that will get you to 500 k subscribers@@DaleStone
Riding partner ("Steve" I think) is lucky to have not regretted forgetting to pull his kneepads back up after a climb? Nice Achilles/High Ankle protection, I guess. :)

Whoa, never heard of this cabin before. Very cool!

Jenk!! Putting those Ti Cranks to work. Love it. 💥
Another great trail. Love watching this with snow on the ground at home, cant wait for the melt. 275k subs , wow man . Impressive

Damn, hopefully surgery goes well and you're back to bikes sooner than that!
So glad you got that bell in!
really enjoyed this vid…the sightz, the soundz and the colorful bikez…made it garate….

I had a race face vault hub in that video, but am now on an Onyx. I love me a silent bike

It's always a surprisingly long way, but it's worth it!
Great trail and filming 👍very impressive biking skills too guys 👌👍
Oh man I remember a full video few years ago with and Dave trying just to ride these rocks at the start.
Haha, indeed... Every time I've been since it has taken a liiiitle less time. 🙂
Finally got to know what happened on your side when I navigated my exhausted self down the hill in the dark. Btw, with same gloves, similar jersey sleeves and same color of grips, I would pretend your footage to be mine, lol.
Haha, yeah basically the same! 😂🙈
Who thought it was a good idea to unleash Steve on a big bike? Impressive as always, gentlemen.
haha, thanks Wes!
Awesome riding. Awesome video
Phenomenal trails and riding🤘🍻
Is anyone else having Ron Allen flashbacks?😂
Agreed that it's underrated, such an amazing trail and you don't hear about it a ton.
How are the Intend brakes performing so far ?
Love them, full video coming soon!
everyone hates blind drops, but we do it anyway with smiles on our faces..hahaha

I see that cheeky nose tap at 8:00!

@@biggles6o4 you both crushed it! Proper jank, wet wood, almost blind, pretty sick riding 👍🏼
@@MTB_Corbin fear is a great motivator 😂
Got myself a claymore too 🍻
Damn that custom wheel builder on IMBY is probably the cleanest i've ever seen.
Btw, anyone knows a well paying job in 3D graphics? 😂

I'll be back!
I loved lower so much before they logged it, broke my heart.
Makes we want to drive from the interior to the lower mainland! What tires are you using?
I used Delium Rugged Reinforced tires on both ends, definitely worth a look: bit.ly/DeliumDaleStone

Do you ride with flat or clipped-in pedals? Some that jank makes me want the security of clipped-in pedals but the ease of bailing of flats.
Dale rides flats!
I've never clipped in in my life haha. 5DEV flats ftw.
Riding partner ("Steve" I think) is lucky to have not regretted forgetting to pull his kneepads back up after a climb? Nice Achilles/High Ankle protection, I guess. :)
Yup. I wanted to ride with exposed knees like Dale.
Tick protection 🦠
Awesome!
Are those Trickstuff Picolla brakes???
Even better: bit.ly/IntendDaleStone
im back, was Here Since 20k with the Same Profile Pic
I wish I could say that it wasn't as dark as it seemed on the camera, but by the end it really was riding by braille. :D
Or, as evidence by the video, echolocation.
Where is this one Dale? Nice trail... 👌
See description
3:17. I would have tried it.
Potential content gold if you did. 😂
Impressively silent bike. Well done.
Quietest bike I've ever owned for sure!
what about the Magura MT7
Those were on the demo bike only!
Your bike is so quiet.
Quietest bike I've ever ridden for sure!
$50 off a wheelset...hold me back. And at IMBY yet too.
Would you rather $0? 🙂
