I genuinely can't think of a single gnarlier trail that has quite as many mandatory pro-lines as this one; there are precisely zero ride arounds here. Thanks to the builder for having the eye to craft such a masterpiece. Unfortunately I hear it's imminently on the chopping block, and may not even exist by the time you watch this video. Enjoy the four of us picking it apart!
Trespasser A-lines are definitely worse, but I'd argue the fact that there are no ridearounds here make it the toughest mandatory trail. Could be wrong!
It's honestly not that hard. I rode it last week clipped in on a penny farthing with no freewheel while juggling 3 oranges with one hand and holding my sandwich with the other hand.
No words. That’s the most relentless succession of ridiculous features I’ve seen on a trail. Amazing effort to you and the gang for even attempting, let alone successfully riding the majority of it. And wow, now it’s 75k… the milestones are ticking by fast!
It’s a shame that this beauty will disappear! Thanks for preserving it for us and allowing us to ride it vicariously (I think that’s my preferred way😂)
I surely would not come out of this trail w/o injury and wounded pride. Great listening to the sessioning talk and doing different lines. DING! 75K+ subs!
I saw that Braden used clipless pedals, do you notice he sometimes has advantages because of that (on technical climbs, for example). Here in Belgium, almost everyone uses clipless pedals so it's nice to see this in the video
Very col to see Braden back in front again. When I first stumbled across your channel a few years back, the majority were just you and him hitting the trails!
That was so fun. I can't ride that severe of a technical trail anymore, but I can see what you are doing as you session these features. Too old and visually impaired for this but enjoy watching it.
While out of my comfort zone it's a pity that these extreme level trails get chopped out. We have a few down south in WA that survive due to flying low on the radar even though the public land management agency fully knows they exist.
Hey Dale great mtb skills... It's been a while that I'm watching your videos and I was wondering if you changed any settings from the last videos with the dji action 3. This one seems to have a much better focused image compared to the previous ones, I don't know if it's just me or what, anyway if you will manage to get videos as nice as this one with different lighting conditions if believe I would convince myself onto buying one action 3. Greetings from Italy!
I am now subscribed. It took all my strength not swear in front of my daughter as I pondered your insanity. Daughter asked me if I thought I could do it. I was really confident…with an absolutely No!
Awesome vid! Someday I want to get to ride BC (not this one though lol ) but always unfortunate when trails get axed. @dalestone Who was the fourth rider (not nick/dave obviously) leading you through everything (if he doesn't want to be named I can respect that no worries. Just like to know to give props!
That trail's grade must be almost straight down in terms of the downhill angle. Camera don't do elecation changes justice, but anyone can clearly see that this trail definitely will kick your butt. The last feature looked like the easiest.
Love how you censored the trail sign, not sure if you’re trying to keep that line hidden or just trying not getting demonetized😂 also trespasser is way gnarlier
Haha, mostly column A. 😂 As I understand it, Trespasser has harder optional moves, but the ridearounds are actually a bit easier than the mandatory lines on this one. I wouldn't know as it hasn't found me yet!
Trespasser A-line/option lines on the handful of crux moves maybe, but this is top to bottom non-stop action, the connecting bits of Trespasser are not hard and not very steep.
And I had to break away and go look, what’s your closing on that hundred thousand pretty quick, although, nicks still closer, I think you could beat him to the hundred K, especially with videos like this! Rubber side down unless your wippin or Flippin
@@olik136The local gov't tends to go after built up features way quicker than natural trails. Wooden structures and dirt work are also far easier for the district to decomission than a rock slab or a loamer for example. The trail isnt terribly well hidden or armoured and the extra traffic, combined with how steep it is, could blow stuff out and make for some shitty riding pretty quick. It's all still pretty new and it hasn't been established whether the land owners are willing to turn a blind eye. (Like some other "secret" shore trails that have been common knowledge for a long time).
All true. Just remember that there is no statistically significant correlation between a video being posted and an appreciable increase in traffic (even when the trail is named), take a look: imgur.com/a/uoou0sP. Also it's not on the shore!

Trespasser may be worse? This seems fairly cool to me! Obviously, gopro effect, but I feel like this is my type of trail!
@@joshward4712trespasser is definitely worse, I’ve been to both
Why is this trail being taken down? Because of injuries?

Its a shame this had to go. But I'm not surprised. Props to the builder. It was a beauty.

I honestly don't think they make much of a difference with really technical climbing. That being said, I have never tried them! 😅
@@DaleStone wow you really should try them! honestly for me is has been an awakening :)) it would be a great video
Sick! Looks like a very fun and well built trail with the wood features and the waterbars.
What an amazing build!, good riding team.
You're catching up to VanCan! Congrats on 75K!
Very col to see Braden back in front again. When I first stumbled across your channel a few years back, the majority were just you and him hitting the trails!
The good old days when none of us had to do real adult chores! 😆
Same. Braden, Dave and Dale all on yellow Norcos. Amazing how Dale’s channel has exploded since then.
That was so fun. I can't ride that severe of a technical trail anymore, but I can see what you are doing as you session these features. Too old and visually impaired for this but enjoy watching it.
When Dale goes slow, she's a toughy
Wow this vids a heater! Love these kinda of trails. Makes me wonder what else is out there in my local mtns here in SLC.
This looks hard but have you ridden Trespasser in Whistler?? Y'all should do a ride video together of that
Masterpiece of building.. sucks to hear it may get decommissioned? After only a year? Development or land manager worried about it?
Title is no lie. DANG. I couldn't even walk that trail without falling, while sober.
While out of my comfort zone it's a pity that these extreme level trails get chopped out. We have a few down south in WA that survive due to flying low on the radar even though the public land management agency fully knows they exist.
Flip of the coin, really... 🫠
Let me slap some commonsense into you! ;) That was insane!
When riders of that quality are walking, you know it’s hard!!
Great video and awesome riding. It would be no need for me to bring my bike because I would be walking the complete trail. Pedal safe

Looks sick Dale, I couldn’t ride one feature on that trail lol. It looks both sketchy and really well built at the same time😂
That is an excellent description! Haha.
This is a wild trail, probably for the best I don't know where this is :)
Nice bell timing.
When can we expect you riding down a standing tree? 😆✌🏾
🙈
RIP to that Stanchion
Well see, next time Dave will know to ride the features instead, walking is the real pro line 😂
Except he was riding the walk around 😂 #classicdave
If it's gonna get decommissioned I wanna know where it is so I can ride it while there's still time!

What trail is that
Hi sir
Super 😢😮😮
Which is your country
🇨🇦
I didn't understand.
Builder is a cool dude why isnt he in the video?
Cool dude for sure!
Not every trail needs to be posted online. This trail is far too sensitive to get the extra traffic this video will bring.
The builder told us it was cool, Benjamin. 😘
I don't get it- what could be "sensitive" about any trail or this one specifically?
In general mainly unsustainable building for weather or land owner sensitivity.
