I didn't watch the trailer but I was curious about the music that people were talking about so I let the music play while also not watching the video. Let's just say hearing the music made me beyond excited for this game than ever before.
@@Eshtian It's nearly impossible to spoil a From game, I've seen every bit of promo material, every trailer and then some, and have yet to see anything I would define as a spoiler. The launch trailer made my eyes come, yes it shows new locations and enemies for a couple seconds, so what. Most people aren't making reaction videos, you don't have to be 100% surprised at every single pixel you see. Anti-spoiler culture has gone off the deep ends.
Final Week (35 : part 3/5) of writing a novel until elden ring releases: comment 1/3 With Only 400 tanks remaining under his command, field marshal said that he couldn't find any better solution than this, It was the riskiest for both soldiers and tanks, and required perfect communication between all the three sides of the battle; Igor was asked to lead the smaller side, the one that goes right, he accepted, refusing to take any extra numbers from the army; the right side was already prepared with almost 30 thousand armed men: -"It doesn't matter how general; but I guess I'm to tell you, yes they scouted all the land before coming here, what they forgot was the sea" Radomir was explaining where most of the troops were, the Dushanbe army took over all the land in his way, the way radomir told how the 30 thousand were going to sneak didn't make any sense, but now it does; the marshal continues: -"Yes Gentlemen, the Kaspiyskoye More is frozen now, they don't know that so why even go there, I realize how deadly it is to stay on frozen water; but our hearts are of fire, They're Up to the duty" He also discussed the Volga river, although it was brief since it was conquered. Ironclad arrived from the back; He looked for his friends, then remembered the tank and found them instantly: -"How the hell did you get here on foot" Anatoly asked, he was happy to see him here, so was alexander, roland was drunk inside the tank, and fedor just didn't care; they told him about that whole plan, he wanted to see marshal, instead he saw igor; and igor saw him too, he asked if he could join the front lines with them, iron didn't mind, it was his intention from the beginning. The March began when all was settled; igor led his army which now reached around 2000 men, a lot of peasants from the city joined his forces; and although he was against it, Marshal ordered at least 10 tanks to accompany them, providing more attack power; iron sat on the tank smoking a roll, looking back at the army, unbothered by the noise caused by the tanks and horse, seeing the distance between him and the tanks grow larger made some peace inside him for some reason; anatoly comes out of the hatch and sits next to him: -"Don't you get cold wearing only these?" Iron was still wearing the same 2 pieces of clothes when he came here, A storm or at least strong cold wind was inevitable to be encountered on their way: -"I don't need warmth anatoly, I mean unless a woman between my arms, that could help" He looks towards the hatch, where fedor was: -"It's gonna be a long way" Anatoly warns: -"I bet some want it to be longer, aren't you afraid a bit antoly?" -"Afraid or not, it's coming, It's lazy to die scared when death is the only way, you know what I just remembered?" Iron chuckles -"I'm telling you Roland's scream is still in my head to this day, A man ran out of the tent and pushed roland away, He didn't realize until our laughs reached his ear" They both laugh hard; few minutes later One of the soldiers dropped down on the ground, he was one of vasili's friends, known for being one of the laziest in town, they knew he was faking it too, though the march stopped; Iron comes smiling from the story before: -"You finally died son, Now I Lucifer will show you pain" He raises his large hammer so fast and almost drops it, everyone gets caught off guard and yells, the man jumps of fear and runs away, changing the fear back to laughter. -"Misha light me a cigar" Igor to one of his soldiers, his hands were busy riding the horse; they go down a hill, snow covers half of it, and in front of them is now a shepherd, leading hundreds of sheep; They yell at him to leave and he yells back, roland's tank approaches him first: -"What's up uncle, Going conquering?" -"Piss off, at least they don't kill each other; better than you monsters" They saw he had two kinds of papers, one Russian and other Dushanbe, they asked him about it: -"Granting me safety, If they win I show them this one, And if you win I keep it" -"And if we attacked you at once?" Alexander asked -"You never convened" Said the old man with a disappointed tone. The enemy is now visible From the marshal's sight, a long line of tanks in front of him; they got so close to the mine fields area, so radomir ordered to hold fire and see their reaction; Moments later they see the first black smoke rising. The Dushanbe army, led by general Daler, Tajik origin, Early 40's and got the rank months ago, wasn't the best they had but it showed how little they care about this place; he too prepared some tricks, the Dushanbe army wasn't strange to traps and such tricks; They prepared some failed tires and wheels, merged them together, and threw a wooden structure that looked just like a tank; fooling the Russians with it, and also testing land mines, the thing did its job here; Daler holds his men, and looks at the other side: -"That's not their all, They want us to go get them" He orders the tanks to start firing, even though soldiers complained they're out of range and most shots will be wasted, yet he got cocky anyway. *Note : I spent this entire day literally just eriting this chapter, plsss guys excuse the mess, i knew there r like hundreds of grmmar erros and possibly even plot holes, but there just isnt enough time left

I did watch the launch trailer and think that some would find it spoiler filled, but only if you really analyze it and try to figure stuff out. It’s got great area snapshots and cool character imagery that just peaked my imagination more, I personally didn’t find it to be bad

Day 32 of discussing the bosses in Hollow Knight. Feel free to share your thoughts on each boss fellow tarnished. Today we'll be talking about Nightmare King Grimm. Quite possibly the hardest non pantheon boss in the game Nightmare King Grimm feels like a completely different fight than his original counterpart. I learned the hard way that his moveset wasn't the exact same and needed tons of practice. His bats can be shot below and above now so you need to dash right in the middle of this attack. He has fireballs come from above after his swipe attack and even leaves flame trails during his dashes. Also Grimm can summon multiple flaming pillars right below you so keep moving to avoid damage. Everything about his moveset is so much harder and it took many attempts before I claimed victory. I love how his soundtrack is changed while still sounding similar. There's a lot more organs being played this time around. If you couldn't tell by now he's my favorite boss in Hollow Knight and quite possibly one of my favorites in gaming as a whole. Final Week (35 : part 3/5) of writing a novel until elden ring releases: comment 3/3 More than a thousand from each side were killed in just the first minute; Daler got cover by his men, they're waiting for him to make a counter attack; he calms his nerves and gathers his ideas, his decision was basically to use the russian's plan against them, and that is by retreating back and rotating around them, which was noticed by Radomir, who already considered that in mind; he already planted hundreds of heavy machine guns from behind with no one noticing, the dushanbe were faced with a rain of bullets; planes were already on their way to bomb the right side completely, that's why they had anti aircraft on the right side as well, they were giving it all, their very last stand. Some of the tanks igor's men dissembled were ridden back and brought back in action, that's why iron jumped on one, hammered the barrel and broke it, others followed him whenever they had a chance, the mortars from this side too were preventing the planes from annihilating the right side; that's why, after being hidden in the middle of the mess, they show themselves, a small group of psychopaths chosen by queen dushanbe herself, Highest rank in the kingdom, they were the elite of the scum that hide in the city, thousands killed by their hands, now they have dozens of oil barrels, ready to spray or used for flamethrowers, their clothes painted with dry , they had their own tank with 50 skulls shaped like a medal; Before they could go all out and massacre igor, they were ordered to take out tankers and get rid of all anti air craft. The dushanbe were getting surrounded even thou they're the majority on the battlefield, it's been 2 hours since the start of the attack, sun is almost shining, the marshal's plan completely disabled the advantage they had, all those tanks could barely do anything, and all that due to the suicidal behavior of the slavs; molotovs were thrown at the tangent point of combat. Back at iron's side again, they started using the hit and run method, which they were fond of, five or so would surround a tank from all directions, one distracts while the others destroy the barrel or straight up throw a grenade inside it, Fedor was the most insane for this, she was small and fast, climbs like a cat and does the job; she looks back for a second and sees the heads of the tankers carried by the elite psychos, she screams alerting all her group, and the final battle begins, gangsters vs gangs, army against army. Roland and alexander still on the tank, they ran out of ammunition; Roland picks up all the guns and molotovs he has, shares with alex, and they both jump to the ground screaming: -"Who wants a huggie" Roland screams, opening his arms with knives in both hands, he lights a molotov and throws it at one of the elites, he gets caught on fire; Iron got more than 20 tanks broken, throughout the battle he was keeping an eye on fedor, and I think at this point it's obvious he likes the girl very much, he looks around for her, to see anatoly, stepping very slowly, he was bleeding from the mouth, with a large cut in his guts, looking at the ground: -"NOOOOOOO" Fedor screamed, she ran to his rescue from 4 attackers from his behind, these guys instantly cut throats and throw the head as a ball, Iron jumps from a tank and plunges one of them, vasili who's very injured in the leg shoots with his magnum; Roland and alexander are running between tanks, someone spots them and starts firing, they run away and try to turn right and take cover, roland reaches first and alexander gets shot in the back and almost falls, roland pulls him and gets shot in the shoulder, but still manages to rescue his friend, the dushanbe tanks are stacking on top of each other, a horse almost gets crushed but gets himself up and starts running above the tanks like they're barriers, not much left from both sides, one of the planes gets downed by the sea fighters, they all cheer up loudly; the plane curves towards the ground, its driver dead, it falls directly on the stacked tanks and kills at least 50; Radomir now brought all tanks to surround the area like a circle, so they become hard to hit altogether, also taking advantage of the lack of command from the dushanbe tanks, each soldier shoots randomly. Anatoly cannot walk anymore, he's carried by fedor who got a knife out of his back, he's stabbed in four spots, iron made all the gang attack him at once, all he has is the giant hammer which he just waves with all he has, needles to say he's very used to hammers, roland joins him by stabbing with broken bottles, alexander is unconscious, he left him inside his tank, the safest place he could think of; the elite started using flamethrowers, to which our gang responded by trying to throw a grenade in their faces; Igor, who was unharmed physically, was still leading all of this mess, alongside demidiev, they kept the formation intact: -"I'm coming back my love" Igor whispered in his heart, he had more than anger pushing him to fight, as mentioned before, his coat has a hole in its back, it was his father's coat, who was shot years ago by an unknown fellow, igor blamed the government for it back then; Another plane was taken down, this time it fell on the sea fighters and killed a bunch, Daler is dead …. The 2nd man in command, started to collapse, he ordered all the oil barrels the dushanbe had, to be spilled all over the battlefield, and also sprayed with large hoses on the russians head, fedor and anatoly were wet from oil, anatoly is done for; 20 injuries were on iron's body, including cuts, bullets, scratches and burns, he almost finished 50 of the elites: -"You're the devil" One of them told iron, while being choked by him: -"No" Ironclad simply answered, and dropped him on the ground; the 2nd commander was looking peacefully with a clear and silent mind at all this, behind him were the barrels emptied entirely, iron looks at him and then sees the oil, with fedor and hundreds if not thousands standing on it, he panics and jumps on the highest tank facing the russians: -"RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN" Fedor recognizes his voice and doesn’t understand , Roland was out of range going to his tank, so was igor and vasili; the young commander, now smoking a final cigar, orders them to touch the ground with a torch, in his mind he was burning his failure and his general's too, the flames lit the whole place, covering the land like an ocean wave, fedor finally saw it, she tries to run with anatoly but with a quick look, she sees meters of blood behind her, his entire body is covered with it too, she understood he was completely gone, so she lets him on the ground, and runs with all her remaining power; everyone was trying to survive on his own, pushing each other on the wet mud, a lot fell and were late, fedor sees it, the dry land, survival, she doubles her steps, fully realizing that a single ember means the end; Igor, standing still, realizes they're just like him, he takes the largest shovel, and stabs the ground with it, then runs across the field with it, separating the mud, and exposing sand from below, which stopped the fire, he stood in front of it unharmed, he takes a breath and lights a cigar from the rising flames, fedor made it by a miracle; she almost chokes trying to catch her breathes, then drops on the ground. It's over, all surrendered, whatever left of them at least, Radomir walks around, congratulating his soldiers for surviving, But some dead body wasn’t dead, a bullet was shot, and got Field marshal in his back, he screams angrily, they all stomp on the shooter; Ironclad was looking in the mess, he found fedor, carries her and wakes her up: -"You're a hero" He smiled from the heart, as she opened her eyes, not answering his question, just looking at the sky; Vasili walked to roland, who was sitting on the ground, leaning on his tank, a bottle in his hand as usual, but he was tearing up, he saw vasili: -"They cut his head, The fuckers cut his head!!!" He cries while being drunk: -"The bastard died, Ooooh god" Radomir was brought a flag, he stomped it in the brunt sand and leaned on it instead of his cane, No one heard his last words, but they knew his death pose was going to be a statue for generations to come.
Honestly the launch trailer wasn’t really a spoiler, sure the ending was like wow… but it happens all so fast that all i Remember is… “The Radahn Festival!” 🔥🔥🔥👀
yeah i kept not looking at my screen as it seemed like it was showing too much, which i think was the right call, but wow, the voice acting and editing on that was just insane. That moment shocked me in the best way possible. Felt entirely un-From-esque in some ways, but still so weird and perfectly disturbing
That happened to me, but it was 2027, December 1st. The game was kind of like what we are getting, but it had the first boss as Glaive Master Hodir. Fricked me up.
I can't believe this game is already sitting on my hard drive! It's bee such an incredible journey with you all. My prayers go out to everyone looking to run this game on a PC that can't quite meet minimum specs (including myself!) May your game be stable, and may you quickly find a CPU upgrade if it is not!
I'm grateful for that new youtube feature that lets you mouse over videos to play them, because it let me watch the launch trailer in tiny thumbnail-o-vision where I couldn't actually tell what was happening but I could still tell how insane it was and feel like I watched it.

On the one side Griffith was truly guided by the Hand of God onto the throne and he does di the mythi al things one would expect. On the other side Griffiths rule still puts him above his subjects, as something better than them, and there have been many many sacrifices made for Griffith to have this status. It doesn't really feel like a direct critique of how the "Divine Right of Kings" was a way to get more power, but moreso a showcase of the Divine Right of Kings being truthfull. A neutral story of God guiding someone to be king. Also the starting panels of the differing architecture of the castle is glorious. It has always been tried by royality to put themselves above their subjects throughout of their housing. But it can be easily forgotten with how old most of that architecture is and how standart it looks nowadays. It does happen nowadays too, LARGE skyscrapers are a case of extremely expensive housing being build for rich people to show off their wealth, even though theire architecture barely solves any problem (shittily expensice to build and have a bad footprint due to the ground needing to be stabalized). ... Just that skyscrapers look like crap most of the time and get more impractical the higher you go. Atleast aristocrats in medival times had actual style. Ch 336 : Pandemonium I wanted to mention how well the cristian (and also the more usual) way of saying farewell is represented. It often feels far too stoic and sad with how it is done. But it is meant as a final farewell, not as a stoic standing around a corpse. And Berserk does put it a good farewell, I am not religious but I think this is often not represented well. Probably too cause of churches doing it far too stoic and emotionless. As well as the legal issues dragging everything to length. And now to the actual meat of the chapter. Locus shows an interesting character. He shows Rickert what Griffith had seriously done with all its nuance. Griffith did put the whole world into a cruel fantasy story where humans have to fear monsters. However, that also made humans stop fighting amongs each other. Griffith did kill all of Rickerts friend in exchange of gruesome war demons. However those cruesome wardemons once were also humans. And Griffith gave them a place to be. What Griffith is doing is still giving people a place they can belong to. He's still a guiding figure for others that brings people together. It reminds me of that speech Griffith was shown giving to Guts before the Golden Age arc was shown. About fate and how there are Key figures which move others. Locus also says about Rickert that there's no hate in his eyes. Though I think Locus is somewhat wrong about that, what Rickert doesn't have is a rage against Griffith. He does have a tistaste for Griffith, but he believs in other things being more important and therefore doesb't fall victim to loosing everything as Guts nearly did. Daiba this chapter is also interesting. Previously he was shown quite cruel and uncaring, only wanting to see his empire of magic become reality. But in this chapter he shows to care about the children not getting eaten and tries to keep them away from it by overworking them a little. His reaction to Erica giving him the prostetic leg of Godo is great too, he seemed to not be too accustomed to being helped like that. Maybe his time among the people who fled to windham influenced him a bit on that. Thinking about it, Daiba was only used to the eastern sphere of magic. Maybe magic is far more "restricted" in its use over there, being somehow giverned. There might not be anything likt elf island, which could be that empire of magic he is hoping for. Ch 337 : Bridge of Parting Yeah I think I read this after Miuras death, Spring Flowers of forgotten Days was likely the last I read before that. Rickert slaps Griffith. I love the flow of this. He is unsure what to say to Griffith, there's so many things to express, and it all is so complex. But it is settled so easily by what Griffith says. Instead of even hinting onto any of the things Rickert was worrying about, Griffith just asked him if he would still "chase the dream". It's such a dumb response, there's nothing about what he did or how he feels about anything in it. It is just a fancy way of asking if he's on his side. And that's all that appearently matters to him. He absolutely deserves that slap for this answer. Griffith asked Rickert about his standpoint on himself in a way that makes him sound important, like the thing that made the Hill of Swords, the graveyard of the Band of the Hawk, so important was that question he gave to Rickert. Griffith is so infinitely unawarr of his feelings it becomes an actual insult to try talk about it to him. And that slap was really just the most fitting thing to do. And Rickert really has grown up so much. He's the one who has gone and said farewell to all of the Band of the Hawk, he had build their graves and found new people that are important to him. Griffith was struggling so hard with that and he's done so now too, but even he hasn't been able to get over Griffith yet as much as Rickert had done in this scene. And then there's Griffith, who appearantly has managed to do nothing in that time. Even after such a long time the only thing he still has to say to Rickert is wether he still wants to "chase the dream". I mean holy fuck dude, the dream is pretty fucking dead for Rickert, he moved on to more important things years ago. Ch 338 : Twilight Assassin And Rickert does decide to go away cause of not being able to live on what has been build on top of his friends corpses. I have nothing else to say other than how conclusive this feels. Rickert is still in marvel on how well that city works. Working water and good traffic flow. Good work opportunities and people help each other. But he can't accept how it was achieved. And that decision really fits to him. That scene towards the end with him looking over the city encapsulates that finality really well too. Though of course his decision os cut short by Griffith not restraining his men and letting them do as they please. I don't think it was Griffith who ordered the assassination, but I believe him to be at fault indirectly for letting it happen anyways. That place is also interesting from a lore perspective. It was said multiple tikes that this might be the city that was buried underneath windham long long ago. But it looks so fit onto Griffith it seems weird to believ. However that place shows some roman looking architecture (which is likely what inspired the concept of that city due to how advanced the roman empire was). And it has a destroyed figurine. Likely covering up the traces of what this city obce looked like. I believe they took the old city in the ground and reformed it to represent Griffiths image instead of the original ones. Ch 339 : Royal Capital in the Moonlight I think I now understand why the weird claok guy uses a mask. It probably really is just to obscure other on where his head is. I thought it was all just magic, but it looks like it mostly really is just a trick to hide his weakpoints. Though I huess his body is something else (dunno if the next fight got that far). The rest of the chapter is relatively fun. I love the Bakiraka being enormous but actually really friendly, I wonder where the third is. What Luca says about people who have those they wanna protect with them is so fitting to Guts too. He had been extremely uncautious when he was all alone, being with Casca had saved him a lot of bloodshet and he had become far more cautious for the sake of his own life. Ch 340 : Night Fight I absolutely love this fight. It would already be really good if it was just showing how much the prince has imporved. But it also shows how helpfull Rickerts ingenuity is. The fact they've been able to drive an apostle into their transfornation says a lot about how effective their teamwork was. And also that apostle design is pretty amazing. Even if it is just a giant cloak. The fight was also extremely tense on a fighting level. I just really like this fight. Ch 341 : Soaring Escape And Daiba is really cool now. Him repaying the kindness of Rickert and Erica is great. He was originally just set on creating an empire of magic, but seeing how the empire of the hawk turned out he was likely let down by how it was kind of an empire build up from magic, but also it wasn't that interesting. Well there isn't much on his character that was revealed up to that point. That concludes the onebundreteightyfift day of rereading Berserk.

That's because when Dark Souls 1 came out it wasn't very popular in the mainstream so they didn't care. By the time 2 came out Dark Souls had exploded into the mainstream by word of mouth and was already an industry changing juggernaut, so journos "respected" it more and gave highers scores to match the hype. That is how dumb reviews are.
Day 175 of posting every word of the Dark Souls 1 Intro: "The" Greetings, Tarnished. I never would've thought we'd be at the final stretch so soon. So much has happened with Elden Ring and our own lives that it feels like no time at all. I'm looking forward to Elden Ring in a particular way... I'm recovering from an abusive relationship and I feel like it'll be so therapeutic to play the game finally, but also to uncover it's secrets and learn a new lesson. Every time I've played a souls game, I learnt something about myself and Elden Ring will be no different, I just have to find out what it is.

IMO - It’s worth watching - it’s so DAMN GOOD!!!! Best trailer ever. It’s all short cuts. Yes, new enemies/bosses. There is a big reveal with what they say in the trailer - but I’m guessing that will also be revealed upon launch intro as well. I could be wrong about that - But holy ISH! It’s simply jaw-dropping. Throw all other trailers in the trashcan and imagine 100x more of a spectacle/hype. I can’t wait to call in sick Friday!!!!
@@aidenmclaughlin1076 I’ve played all the From titles… Since this world is so damn huge. It’s not a spoil imo. It actually tells you a bit more about the story - which makes it even crazier. I’m guessing this will be mentioned in the opener - cause it is a huge part of what you’ll be doing. (I think it’s more story reveal than boss reveal (which there are some - but if you’ve seen early leaks stuff last year - it’s more of that) But lemme tell you - it’s the best trailer I’ve ever seen. I’m 1000x more pumped and not mad i watched it. I’ve watched it probably 20 times already. It’s like replaying the best song you’ve ever heard. Hopefully this was vague enough. Can’t wait till Friday!
It really depends on the type of person you are, if you can just take it as it is and be good with that, then the individual clips and blurbs are so short and vague that there's really only one spoiler related to the story and everything else is just eye and ear candy of the highest quality. If you're the sort to dig into every frame and word, and try to solve the mysteries lurking in the background, then it could probably spoil quite a bit more for you.

It's unfortunate that the trailer contains such heavy spoilers. The problem with this is that people who have seen the trailer, such as me, might not even have known that they have seen spoilers (like an ending for example) if it wasn't for people who are warning others about spoilers. I hadn't really thought about what I had seen in the trailer, but now that people told me it was an ending, I know exactly what scenes they are talking about. (I am obviously not faulting people for warning others about spoilers, like I said, just an unfortunate consequence of it.)
if you've seen any of the other From launch trailers this is to be expected. I still remember feeling awful watching the DS3 one and spoiling all the cool bosses.

In case anyone is here considering watching the launch trailer, I watched it and really wish I didn't. It is packed with mind blowing moments that would be even more impactful experienced during gameplay. It also shows what must be significant plot points and perhaps even twists. It goes too far but, my god, it's one hell of a trailer!

@@Eshtian It's nearly impossible to spoil a From game, I've seen every bit of promo material, every trailer and then some, and have yet to see anything I would define as a spoiler. The launch trailer made my eyes come, yes it shows new locations and enemies for a couple seconds, so what. Most people aren't making reaction videos, you don't have to be 100% surprised at every single pixel you see. Anti-spoiler culture has gone off the deep ends.
I love the fact that Mordecai sounds so reenergised and hyped. It’s been a long time coming.

Radomir was explaining where most of the troops were, the Dushanbe army took over all the land in his way, the way radomir told how the 30 thousand were going to sneak didn't make any sense, but now it does; the marshal continues:
-"Yes Gentlemen, the Kaspiyskoye More is frozen now, they don't know that so why even go there, I realize how deadly it is to stay on frozen water; but our hearts are of fire, They're Up to the duty"
He also discussed the Volga river, although it was brief since it was conquered.

-"Don't you get cold wearing only these?"
Iron was still wearing the same 2 pieces of clothes when he came here, A storm or at least strong cold wind was inevitable to be encountered on their way:
-"I don't need warmth anatoly, I mean unless a woman between my arms, that could help"
He looks towards the hatch, where fedor was:
-"It's gonna be a long way"
Anatoly warns:
-"I bet some want it to be longer, aren't you afraid a bit antoly?"
-"Afraid or not, it's coming, It's lazy to die scared when death is the only way, you know what I just remembered?"
He chuckled, then goes on:
-"Years ago we went against a bunch of idiots dressed as police, on the heat it got so deadly and we knew our lives were over, yet we didn't care and just kept drinking; though some really lost it and started faking injuries and eventually pretend to die on bed, We put them in a tent that stank from the dead, I don’t know how they handled it that long, I guess they weren't very conscious after all"
He coughed from the flow of air, roland started speeding:
-"Anyway, one day roland got drunk"
He bursts laughing just from remembering that:
-"He got to the tent, And I don't know where he had a grenade from; he Pulles the ring "Enemy Fire!!"
Iron chuckles
-"I'm telling you Roland's scream is still in my head to this day, A man ran out of the tent and pushed roland away, He didn't realize until our laughs reached his ear"
They both laugh hard; few minutes later One of the soldiers dropped down on the ground, he was one of vasili's friends, known for being one of the laziest in town, they knew he was faking it too, though the march stopped; Iron comes smiling from the story before:
-"You finally died son, Now I Lucifer will show you pain"
He raises his large hammer so fast and almost drops it, everyone gets caught off guard and yells, the man jumps of fear and runs away, changing the fear back to laughter.
-"Misha light me a cigar"
Igor to one of his soldiers, his hands were busy riding the horse; they go down a hill, snow covers half of it, and in front of them is now a shepherd, leading hundreds of sheep;
They yell at him to leave and he yells back, roland's tank approaches him first:
-"What's up uncle, Going conquering?"
-"Piss off, at least they don't kill each other; better than you monsters"
They saw he had two kinds of papers, one Russian and other Dushanbe, they asked him about it:
-"Granting me safety, If they win I show them this one, And if you win I keep it"
-"And if we attacked you at once?"
Alexander asked
-"You never convened"
Said the old man with a disappointed tone.
The enemy is now visible From the marshal's sight, a long line of tanks in front of him; they got so close to the mine fields area, so radomir ordered to hold fire and see their reaction; Moments later they see the first black smoke rising.
The Dushanbe army, led by general Daler, Tajik origin, Early 40's and got the rank months ago, wasn't the best they had but it showed how little they care about this place; he too prepared some tricks, the Dushanbe army wasn't strange to traps and such tricks; They prepared some failed tires and wheels, merged them together, and threw a wooden structure that looked just like a tank; fooling the Russians with it, and also testing land mines, the thing did its job here; Daler holds his men, and looks at the other side:
-"That's not their all, They want us to go get them"
He orders the tanks to start firing, even though soldiers complained they're out of range and most shots will be wasted, yet he got cocky anyway.

Day 32 of discussing the bosses in Hollow Knight. Feel free to share your thoughts on each boss fellow tarnished. Today we'll be talking about Nightmare King Grimm.
Quite possibly the hardest non pantheon boss in the game Nightmare King Grimm feels like a completely different fight than his original counterpart. I learned the hard way that his moveset wasn't the exact same and needed tons of practice.
His bats can be shot below and above now so you need to dash right in the middle of this attack. He has fireballs come from above after his swipe attack and even leaves flame trails during his dashes. Also Grimm can summon multiple flaming pillars right below you so keep moving to avoid damage. Everything about his moveset is so much harder and it took many attempts before I claimed victory.
I love how his soundtrack is changed while still sounding similar. There's a lot more organs being played this time around. If you couldn't tell by now he's my favorite boss in Hollow Knight and quite possibly one of my favorites in gaming as a whole. That concludes day 32 of discussing the bosses in Hollow Knight.
I liked the TMG soundtrack a lot more than NKG. The electric guitars do it for me

More than a thousand from each side were killed in just the first minute; Daler got cover by his men, they're waiting for him to make a counter attack; he calms his nerves and gathers his ideas, his decision was basically to use the russian's plan against them, and that is by retreating back and rotating around them, which was noticed by Radomir, who already considered that in mind; he already planted hundreds of heavy machine guns from behind with no one noticing, the dushanbe were faced with a rain of bullets; planes were already on their way to bomb the right side completely, that's why they had anti aircraft on the right side as well, they were giving it all, their very last stand.
Some of the tanks igor's men dissembled were ridden back and brought back in action, that's why iron jumped on one, hammered the barrel and broke it, others followed him whenever they had a chance, the mortars from this side too were preventing the planes from annihilating the right side; that's why, after being hidden in the middle of the mess, they show themselves, a small group of psychopaths chosen by queen dushanbe herself, Highest rank in the kingdom, they were the elite of the scum that hide in the city, thousands killed by their hands, now they have dozens of oil barrels, ready to spray or used for flamethrowers, their clothes painted with dry , they had their own tank with 50 skulls shaped like a medal; Before they could go all out and massacre igor, they were ordered to take out tankers and get rid of all anti air craft.
The dushanbe were getting surrounded even thou they're the majority on the battlefield, it's been 2 hours since the start of the attack, sun is almost shining, the marshal's plan completely disabled the advantage they had, all those tanks could barely do anything, and all that due to the suicidal behavior of the slavs; molotovs were thrown at the tangent point of combat.
Back at iron's side again, they started using the hit and run method, which they were fond of, five or so would surround a tank from all directions, one distracts while the others destroy the barrel or straight up throw a grenade inside it, Fedor was the most insane for this, she was small and fast, climbs like a cat and does the job; she looks back for a second and sees the heads of the tankers carried by the elite psychos, she screams alerting all her group, and the final battle begins, gangsters vs gangs, army against army.
Roland and alexander still on the tank, they ran out of ammunition; Roland picks up all the guns and molotovs he has, shares with alex, and they both jump to the ground screaming:
-"Who wants a huggie"
Roland screams, opening his arms with knives in both hands, he lights a molotov and throws it at one of the elites, he gets caught on fire; Iron got more than 20 tanks broken, throughout the battle he was keeping an eye on fedor, and I think at this point it's obvious he likes the girl very much, he looks around for her, to see anatoly, stepping very slowly, he was bleeding from the mouth, with a large cut in his guts, looking at the ground:
-"NOOOOOOO"
Fedor screamed, she ran to his rescue from 4 attackers from his behind, these guys instantly cut throats and throw the head as a ball, Iron jumps from a tank and plunges one of them, vasili who's very injured in the leg shoots with his magnum; Roland and alexander are running between tanks, someone spots them and starts firing, they run away and try to turn right and take cover, roland reaches first and alexander gets shot in the back and almost falls, roland pulls him and gets shot in the shoulder, but still manages to rescue his friend, the dushanbe tanks are stacking on top of each other, a horse almost gets crushed but gets himself up and starts running above the tanks like they're barriers, not much left from both sides, one of the planes gets downed by the sea fighters, they all cheer up loudly; the plane curves towards the ground, its driver dead, it falls directly on the stacked tanks and kills at least 50; Radomir now brought all tanks to surround the area like a circle, so they become hard to hit altogether, also taking advantage of the lack of command from the dushanbe tanks, each soldier shoots randomly.
Anatoly cannot walk anymore, he's carried by fedor who got a knife out of his back, he's stabbed in four spots, iron made all the gang attack him at once, all he has is the giant hammer which he just waves with all he has, needles to say he's very used to hammers, roland joins him by stabbing with broken bottles, alexander is unconscious, he left him inside his tank, the safest place he could think of; the elite started using flamethrowers, to which our gang responded by trying to throw a grenade in their faces; Igor, who was unharmed physically, was still leading all of this mess, alongside demidiev, they kept the formation intact:
-"I'm coming back my love"
Igor whispered in his heart, he had more than anger pushing him to fight, as mentioned before, his coat has a hole in its back, it was his father's coat, who was shot years ago by an unknown fellow, igor blamed the government for it back then; Another plane was taken down, this time it fell on the sea fighters and killed a bunch, Daler is dead ….
The 2nd man in command, started to collapse, he ordered all the oil barrels the dushanbe had, to be spilled all over the battlefield, and also sprayed with large hoses on the russians head, fedor and anatoly were wet from oil, anatoly is done for; 20 injuries were on iron's body, including cuts, bullets, scratches and burns, he almost finished 50 of the elites:
-"You're the devil"
One of them told iron, while being choked by him:
-"No"
Ironclad simply answered, and dropped him on the ground; the 2nd commander was looking peacefully with a clear and silent mind at all this, behind him were the barrels emptied entirely, iron looks at him and then sees the oil, with fedor and hundreds if not thousands standing on it, he panics and jumps on the highest tank facing the russians:
-"RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN"
Fedor recognizes his voice and doesn’t understand , Roland was out of range going to his tank, so was igor and vasili; the young commander, now smoking a final cigar, orders them to touch the ground with a torch, in his mind he was burning his failure and his general's too, the flames lit the whole place, covering the land like an ocean wave, fedor finally saw it, she tries to run with anatoly but with a quick look, she sees meters of blood behind her, his entire body is covered with it too, she understood he was completely gone, so she lets him on the ground, and runs with all her remaining power; everyone was trying to survive on his own, pushing each other on the wet mud, a lot fell and were late, fedor sees it, the dry land, survival, she doubles her steps, fully realizing that a single ember means the end; Igor, standing still, realizes they're just like him, he takes the largest shovel, and stabs the ground with it, then runs across the field with it, separating the mud, and exposing sand from below, which stopped the fire, he stood in front of it unharmed, he takes a breath and lights a cigar from the rising flames, fedor made it by a miracle; she almost chokes trying to catch her breathes, then drops on the ground.
It's over, all surrendered, whatever left of them at least, Radomir walks around, congratulating his soldiers for surviving, But some dead body wasn’t dead, a bullet was shot, and got Field marshal in his back, he screams angrily, they all stomp on the shooter; Ironclad was looking in the mess, he found fedor, carries her and wakes her up:
-"You're a hero"
He smiled from the heart, as she opened her eyes, not answering his question, just looking at the sky; Vasili walked to roland, who was sitting on the ground, leaning on his tank, a bottle in his hand as usual, but he was tearing up, he saw vasili:
-"They cut his head, The fuckers cut his head!!!"
He cries while being drunk:
-"The bastard died, Ooooh god"
Radomir was brought a flag, he stomped it in the brunt sand and leaned on it instead of his cane, No one heard his last words, but they knew his death pose was going to be a statue for generations to come.

yeah i kept not looking at my screen as it seemed like it was showing too much, which i think was the right call, but wow, the voice acting and editing on that was just insane. That moment shocked me in the best way possible. Felt entirely un-From-esque in some ways, but still so weird and perfectly disturbing

Day 185 : Ch 335 + Ch 336 + Ch 337 + Ch 348 + Ch 339 + Ch 340 + Ch 341
Ch 335 : The Divine Right of Kings
The way the divine right of Kings is presented is interesting. On the one side Griffith was truly guided by the Hand of God onto the throne and he does di the mythi al things one would expect. On the other side Griffiths rule still puts him above his subjects, as something better than them, and there have been many many sacrifices made for Griffith to have this status.
It doesn't really feel like a direct critique of how the "Divine Right of Kings" was a way to get more power, but moreso a showcase of the Divine Right of Kings being truthfull. A neutral story of God guiding someone to be king.
Also the starting panels of the differing architecture of the castle is glorious. It has always been tried by royality to put themselves above their subjects throughout of their housing. But it can be easily forgotten with how old most of that architecture is and how standart it looks nowadays.
It does happen nowadays too, LARGE skyscrapers are a case of extremely expensive housing being build for rich people to show off their wealth, even though theire architecture barely solves any problem (shittily expensice to build and have a bad footprint due to the ground needing to be stabalized).
... Just that skyscrapers look like crap most of the time and get more impractical the higher you go. Atleast aristocrats in medival times had actual style.
Ch 336 : Pandemonium
I wanted to mention how well the cristian (and also the more usual) way of saying farewell is represented. It often feels far too stoic and sad with how it is done. But it is meant as a final farewell, not as a stoic standing around a corpse.
And Berserk does put it a good farewell, I am not religious but I think this is often not represented well. Probably too cause of churches doing it far too stoic and emotionless. As well as the legal issues dragging everything to length.
And now to the actual meat of the chapter.
Locus shows an interesting character. He shows Rickert what Griffith had seriously done with all its nuance.
Griffith did put the whole world into a cruel fantasy story where humans have to fear monsters. However, that also made humans stop fighting amongs each other.
Griffith did kill all of Rickerts friend in exchange of gruesome war demons. However those cruesome wardemons once were also humans. And Griffith gave them a place to be.
What Griffith is doing is still giving people a place they can belong to. He's still a guiding figure for others that brings people together.
It reminds me of that speech Griffith was shown giving to Guts before the Golden Age arc was shown. About fate and how there are Key figures which move others.
Locus also says about Rickert that there's no hate in his eyes. Though I think Locus is somewhat wrong about that, what Rickert doesn't have is a rage against Griffith. He does have a tistaste for Griffith, but he believs in other things being more important and therefore doesb't fall victim to loosing everything as Guts nearly did.
Daiba this chapter is also interesting.
Previously he was shown quite cruel and uncaring, only wanting to see his empire of magic become reality. But in this chapter he shows to care about the children not getting eaten and tries to keep them away from it by overworking them a little.
His reaction to Erica giving him the prostetic leg of Godo is great too, he seemed to not be too accustomed to being helped like that. Maybe his time among the people who fled to windham influenced him a bit on that.
Thinking about it, Daiba was only used to the eastern sphere of magic. Maybe magic is far more "restricted" in its use over there, being somehow giverned. There might not be anything likt elf island, which could be that empire of magic he is hoping for.
Ch 337 : Bridge of Parting
Yeah I think I read this after Miuras death, Spring Flowers of forgotten Days was likely the last I read before that.
Rickert slaps Griffith.
I love the flow of this. He is unsure what to say to Griffith, there's so many things to express, and it all is so complex.
But it is settled so easily by what Griffith says. Instead of even hinting onto any of the things Rickert was worrying about, Griffith just asked him if he would still "chase the dream".
It's such a dumb response, there's nothing about what he did or how he feels about anything in it. It is just a fancy way of asking if he's on his side. And that's all that appearently matters to him.
He absolutely deserves that slap for this answer.
Griffith asked Rickert about his standpoint on himself in a way that makes him sound important, like the thing that made the Hill of Swords, the graveyard of the Band of the Hawk, so important was that question he gave to Rickert.
Griffith is so infinitely unawarr of his feelings it becomes an actual insult to try talk about it to him.
And that slap was really just the most fitting thing to do.
And Rickert really has grown up so much. He's the one who has gone and said farewell to all of the Band of the Hawk, he had build their graves and found new people that are important to him.
Griffith was struggling so hard with that and he's done so now too, but even he hasn't been able to get over Griffith yet as much as Rickert had done in this scene.
And then there's Griffith, who appearantly has managed to do nothing in that time. Even after such a long time the only thing he still has to say to Rickert is wether he still wants to "chase the dream". I mean holy fuck dude, the dream is pretty fucking dead for Rickert, he moved on to more important things years ago.
Ch 338 : Twilight Assassin
And Rickert does decide to go away cause of not being able to live on what has been build on top of his friends corpses.
I have nothing else to say other than how conclusive this feels.
Rickert is still in marvel on how well that city works. Working water and good traffic flow. Good work opportunities and people help each other.
But he can't accept how it was achieved. And that decision really fits to him.
That scene towards the end with him looking over the city encapsulates that finality really well too.
Though of course his decision os cut short by Griffith not restraining his men and letting them do as they please.
I don't think it was Griffith who ordered the assassination, but I believe him to be at fault indirectly for letting it happen anyways.
That place is also interesting from a lore perspective.
It was said multiple tikes that this might be the city that was buried underneath windham long long ago.
But it looks so fit onto Griffith it seems weird to believ.
However that place shows some roman looking architecture (which is likely what inspired the concept of that city due to how advanced the roman empire was).
And it has a destroyed figurine. Likely covering up the traces of what this city obce looked like.
I believe they took the old city in the ground and reformed it to represent Griffiths image instead of the original ones.
Ch 339 : Royal Capital in the Moonlight
I think I now understand why the weird claok guy uses a mask. It probably really is just to obscure other on where his head is.
I thought it was all just magic, but it looks like it mostly really is just a trick to hide his weakpoints.
Though I huess his body is something else (dunno if the next fight got that far).
The rest of the chapter is relatively fun. I love the Bakiraka being enormous but actually really friendly, I wonder where the third is.
What Luca says about people who have those they wanna protect with them is so fitting to Guts too. He had been extremely uncautious when he was all alone, being with Casca had saved him a lot of bloodshet and he had become far more cautious for the sake of his own life.
Ch 340 : Night Fight
I absolutely love this fight.
It would already be really good if it was just showing how much the prince has imporved. But it also shows how helpfull Rickerts ingenuity is.
The fact they've been able to drive an apostle into their transfornation says a lot about how effective their teamwork was.
And also that apostle design is pretty amazing. Even if it is just a giant cloak.
The fight was also extremely tense on a fighting level.
I just really like this fight.
Ch 341 : Soaring Escape
And Daiba is really cool now.
Him repaying the kindness of Rickert and Erica is great.
He was originally just set on creating an empire of magic, but seeing how the empire of the hawk turned out he was likely let down by how it was kind of an empire build up from magic, but also it wasn't that interesting.
Well there isn't much on his character that was revealed up to that point.

When I found out Dark Souls 2 was the 2nd highest rated From game they've rated, I officially didn't care what they gave Elden Ring.
That's because when Dark Souls 1 came out it wasn't very popular in the mainstream so they didn't care. By the time 2 came out Dark Souls had exploded into the mainstream by word of mouth and was already an industry changing juggernaut, so journos "respected" it more and gave highers scores to match the hype.
That is how dumb reviews are.
Cant wait to pre load it once i get back from work.

Greetings, Tarnished. I never would've thought we'd be at the final stretch so soon. So much has happened with Elden Ring and our own lives that it feels like no time at all.
I'm looking forward to Elden Ring in a particular way... I'm recovering from an abusive relationship and I feel like it'll be so therapeutic to play the game finally, but also to uncover it's secrets and learn a new lesson. Every time I've played a souls game, I learnt something about myself and Elden Ring will be no different, I just have to find out what it is.
Be aware of the spoilers from datamining now that the pre load as started and people have access to game files. Now is the time to go full dark, be safe fellow Tarnished.

IMO - It’s worth watching - it’s so DAMN GOOD!!!! Best trailer ever. It’s all short cuts. Yes, new enemies/bosses. There is a big reveal with what they say in the trailer - but I’m guessing that will also be revealed upon launch intro as well. I could be wrong about that - But holy ISH! It’s simply jaw-dropping. Throw all other trailers in the trashcan and imagine 100x more of a spectacle/hype. I can’t wait to call in sick Friday!!!!

@@aidenmclaughlin1076 I’ve played all the From titles… Since this world is so damn huge. It’s not a spoil imo. It actually tells you a bit more about the story - which makes it even crazier. I’m guessing this will be mentioned in the opener - cause it is a huge part of what you’ll be doing. (I think it’s more story reveal than boss reveal (which there are some - but if you’ve seen early leaks stuff last year - it’s more of that) But lemme tell you - it’s the best trailer I’ve ever seen. I’m 1000x more pumped and not mad i watched it. I’ve watched it probably 20 times already. It’s like replaying the best song you’ve ever heard. Hopefully this was vague enough. Can’t wait till Friday!
It really depends on the type of person you are, if you can just take it as it is and be good with that, then the individual clips and blurbs are so short and vague that there's really only one spoiler related to the story and everything else is just eye and ear candy of the highest quality. If you're the sort to dig into every frame and word, and try to solve the mysteries lurking in the background, then it could probably spoil quite a bit more for you.

It's unfortunate that the trailer contains such heavy spoilers.
The problem with this is that people who have seen the trailer, such as me, might not even have known that they have seen spoilers (like an ending for example) if it wasn't for people who are warning others about spoilers.
I hadn't really thought about what I had seen in the trailer, but now that people told me it was an ending, I know exactly what scenes they are talking about.
(I am obviously not faulting people for warning others about spoilers, like I said, just an unfortunate consequence of it.)
if you've seen any of the other From launch trailers this is to be expected. I still remember feeling awful watching the DS3 one and spoiling all the cool bosses.
@@Serenity-tn4yn Even though I have been a fan of the Souls series since like 2013, I have never watched any trailers of any of the games until they came out. I never really follow the development of games that closely, Elden Ring being the exception.

Here is what I did with the launch trailer: I watched it on low resolution in stamp size, there is some crazy shit going on, but I couldn't identify anything specific!
In case anyone is here considering watching the launch trailer, I watched it and really wish I didn't. It is packed with mind blowing moments that would be even more impactful experienced during gameplay. It also shows what must be significant plot points and perhaps even twists. It goes too far but, my god, it's one hell of a trailer!
