Thanks for doing the giveaways. As someone who is getting very involved with structures the tools are kinda expensive as you know. Hopefully anyone who wins puts them to good use.
Currently attending an A&P school. I scheduled my general writtens on May 16th hopefully I’ll pass, if I do will continue to do oral and practical. After I pass that, onto power plant test. Started airframe class earlier this week still have long way to go
I passed my Airframe today May 8th and now I’m officially an A&P!! Thanks for your content this past year Bryce and look forward to more future content!!
You should consider doing a video on tools or “hacks”. Whether it be a makeshift tools for specific purposes, tools that make your life easier, or even the basics I guess. There’s some tools or ideas that really come in handy e.g. knipex plier wrench for flush rivets, certain compact or limited access tools etc etc. Always nice to learn a new trick that makes things easier.
I have my airframe o&p on June 24th I’ve been studying everything you have told us to study and it’s been working! Thank you for the videos man I appreciate it!
You replace because something is old??? Oh boy, I'm screwed...😆 But I do appreciate you teaching aspiring new techs who are interested in aircraft work.
Technically, we replaced them because we had to spend the rest of our budget before the fiscal year was up but I didn't know that when I recorded the video
I have just finished my first year of A&P school. Really appreciate all the information and insight on the A&P career that I gain from watching your videos!
I wish someone would start an A&P program at Grayson College in Sherman. That would be a reward for retiring from a job I dont like and finally do something I like for me. Probably get a plane and do my own maintenance. But, there are no programs close.
Hey Bryce thanks for all the great content I have been subscribed for a while now and it helped me tremendously. I am now enrolled in school working on my A&P. Appreciate the opportunity for the giveaway !
I’m a former USAF maintainer. Realized how much I miss being around aviation, so I’m prepping to test. Have my 8610-2 signed off for both certs. It’s a lot of material to study, and the Os and Ps seem intimidating from this side of the process.
@@brycebuildsit I most likely will do a prep course for the O and Ps anyway. Maybe even try to do some part time helper work with a local FBO. There’s too many things I’ve never had hands on experience with. I’m not going to take the writtens until I’m sure I’ve got the material locked down.
I watched a recent video of yours lamenting the limited aviation MX content on youtube and I couldn't agree more. The space has become flooded with antique airplane rehabs and its refreshing to to see content pushing the fundamentals. I appreciate the knowledge and put to work as an airplane owner/builder.
It seems like antique restoration has become the popular thing for people to watch. I might not have the budget for a plane but I have just enough for a motorcycle lol
Congratulations Bryce on the early success of your channel. I’m just one of many that enjoys your content and look forward to more. Really cool that you are able to give back to aviation mechanics. Oh, and today 5/8 is my birthday so fun video to watch today. Catch ya in the next one!
@@brycebuildsit Just out of curiosity, Do you have any intentions of attending EAA AirVenture? I’m planning to go for my first time this year. Would love to meet a few content creators, including you.

So I have a question on the rivet gun, what is the difference between a rivet gun and a air hammer or are they the same and do the bits change? Sorry I’m in the heavy equipment industry about to switch over to aviation and just trying to see if any of the tools I already own will transfer over to aviation, from what i have seen in your other videos I won’t need the majority of my inventory 🤣🤣
A rivit gun has a variable trigger. The more you pull, the faster and harder it will hit. Obviously, an air hammer is all or nothing wich doesn't work great for rivits (it can be done in a pinch) because there is no control
Giving back is always a good thing, with that said should I be picked I would like to donate them back to either a student that needs them or a commentor that needs them.
