Thank you Ms. Basu and Ms. Ramesh for all the great science reportage you do for The Print including the stories that don't get videos. I'm especially grateful that you don't dumb the stories down or avoid technical terminology when it's needed. The videos themselves are also very good with graphics that support the stories well, so thank you to the unnamed producers who must spend hours editing them. These are as good or better than _any_ science news videos in English on TH-cam!
Could i know the crux of the new find. The details given by u does not make us any wiser. It is only the Doctors who can understand the technical jargon.
I have had stem cell treatment twice for copd and ph. It works good but I think it would stronger and possibly cure COPD if we could expand the at2 into a couple million cells and put they back in the body by IV or catheter. Do you know where I could have this done ?
They are callled RAS cells. I also have Emphysema, 19% FEV-1. They are working here in Philadelphia on RAS cells (Stem Cells) they will re grow Alveoli.
They say enzymes like serrapeptase and nattokinase has been shown to breakdown fibrosis and scar tissue and help with thinning of mucus. Checkout the article on Pulmonary Fibrosis NOW
It is funny to know they can grow a lung in a lab from a scaffold and stem cells but they can't repair a lung from one they grew in a lab seeing the lab lung was made from the same lungs that is still in the person who needs it .
Yes.... But the chances are very low ... There's this one condition called Alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency which makes the lungs vulnerable to injury ..... But the good news is that alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency will cause emphysema only in the presence of noxious stimuli like pollution and smoking , staying near fumes etc........ Hence the conclusion is alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency aggravates or fastens the COPD risk and progression.
Yes indeed. The overflow of information and supposed treatments make me want to give up entirely and just die. There is way too much undetailed information, and most of the trials or sollutions examined end up with nothing at all or unreachable for the biggest part of patients...It is very disheartening when you are battling a disease with all your might already. Then there are all other factors like heart issues and cancer to be aware of and a Tonne of medical 'specialists' who mostly contradict each other when it comes to food, exercise and how realistic your expectations should be... Man. GL to all but it seems like nothing is really helpfull...still.....So yeah eat healthy. Keep exercising as much as possible and most of all. STAY POSITIVE. I found that stress and anxiety are by far the biggest factors in how good or bad i feel every day.
Please have someone who speaks English clearly and enunciates clearly and properly. Your English is too thick and very hard to understand. I can not understand half of what you are trying to say. I will voice it if you wish. OR how about putting the sentences below the video so we know what you are saying. Thank you.
Put your CC on and read it. You will have to ignore any misspellings, however as TH-cam feature is not designed for interpreting dialects and/or regional pronunciation of the human voice.
