First thanks so much Bob and Brad for ALL your video's, I have learned SO much and turned a VERY painful bone on bone knee into painfree and functional with no surgery or drugs. But I do have to comment on this device. I bought one when you demonstrated it the first time and rec. it to a friend also, who bought one and is doing great with hers. When I worked my way up to level 4 exhale the device would block and not let air out without blowing your brains out. I could not deal with it, so emailed the company who had some one call at 6am our time (get me out of bed) and demand I go test it while on the phone, and try things to make it work, NOTHING would make it work. So they did act like it was 'my fault', but sent another one. The new one worked ok till today ai tried level 5 exhale and it is totally BLOCKED, no air can go through it. I can NOT deal with contacting this company again, I did NOTHING to this device but breathe through it (wash them as rec.). Maybe some people don't use them long enough to get to the higher levels and never know their device is not right, but I can't keep playing the game, I have a heart problem and other chronic probs and really don't have the time or energy to deal with this, so I have to say buyer BEWARE, hope you get a good device and it will work as promised. When it does work, it is great for developing your breathing.
Brilliant breathing device, I use it everyday for 6 minutes none stop at a ratio of 5.5s inhaling then 5.5s exhaling .I block my nose using a nose clip.
Tbh, I find them extremely irritating cos they take forever getting to the point, a lot of play babble when their video can be half the time. However, am still grateful for their time and effort in helping people.

You don't need to buy a device. Just blowing out through pursed lips is enough pressure. If you need more, try blowing up a balloon several times in a row, 3 times a day.
The only problem with that is you’re only getting resistance when you exhale not inhale and when you inhale from the balloon, you’re inhaling the white powder that balloons are filled with, as well as the carbon monoxide which you exhale in the first place . In which case, blowing up a balloon does not work or compensate for this type of product .
I agree. I don’t know what that white powder is. I know it’s in balloons so the rubber doesn’t stick to itself but who knows what it is. You mentioned people produce carbon monoxide but it’s a tiny amount that’s measured in parts per million. Typical exhalations are comprised of approximately 78 percent nitrogen, 16 percent oxygen, 4 percent carbon dioxide and 0.09 percent argon, along with 3500 other chemicals. After getting Covid my breathing was very diminished. My doctor had me do a breathing test and it was low. After using this breathing tool for 2 1/2 months I took another breathing test and my breathing increased 30-35%. The doctor was surprised at the difference and thought the first test was flawed. But I believe the improvement was due to using a device similar to the one in this video.
Thanks Bob and Brad, my mom has COPD and i was looking for the device to reduce her symptoms. I have questions related to the difference between Airphysio (australia made) and Breather?
Can you say something about how this device compares to the AirPhysio? The latter seems to be about clearing out mucus. But they both seem to be pretty similar in how they work, so maybe they do the same thing.
Hi. I've got COPD and use both a Breather and an AirPhysio. The main differences are that the Breather uses resistance in both breathing in and breathing out which helps develop important muscles. The AirPhysio instead just creates a vibration that helps loosen mucus but doesn't do much for muscles. Both are very effective and have really improved my quality of life. I have noticed that the Breather helps bring up the ick also but I'm not sure why.
