If only it worked that way in the real world. There is no "god" here in the way you think there is. Source can only help us help ourselves, but deceit guile and subterfuge will always win out in the end because the material plane favors selfishness.

    • @random-_-dude
      @random-_-dude 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

@@LupusMechanicus The gains that God gives you aren't material. Why should a loving God reward his people with objects of decaying matter? The world will take you in the end, and if He was to reward us with an easy life, our reward dies with us along with our purpose. The world will provide you with the material fortune you seek, as it is the god that many worship. Those who act out of malice are worshiping the selfish nature of the world, and the world rewards them for what they do. The world, like its servants, does not do this out of love or kindness, but simply for its own benefit. It is a god who thrives off of the power and importance we give it. To gain much material wealth, but to lose your dignity, honor, and soul is not fortune, only a bad investment. The greatest fortune you can gain is a fortune that does not leave you, and such is the fortune God offers.

@@LupusMechanicus Then what? You have removed everything about yourself. You cannot experience true bliss if you can feel nothing. If life is so selfish, its purpose shouldn't be to end itself, and to leave this existence to escape it is itself a selfish urge. If life is a cycle, there is no urgency to escape it as you will have many tries later, and the rule of probability would state that everyone will eventually find a way out. But there is an urgency. If you're incorrect about the cycle, you have only wasted your time on a selfish and suicidal action. I find no fortune in this.

I’m a burn victim and I relate to this. I remember I was reading Ernst Junger and I stopped at one passage minutes before the fire. “Show me how you react to pain and I’ll show you who you are” I’m not sure why I read that right before I was burning but it’s stuck with me. I remember I heard myself scream and it didn’t sound like me, I fell to my knees and thought about someone I love then I thought “People Die Like This.” . I could smell my flesh burn and see the flames on my shirt and jacket, I stuck my hands into the fire and tore as hard as I could until the cloth tore and I was free. Then I finally felt pain. A helicopter ride and three skin grafts later and I was mostly normal again.

As a man who was mostly raised by his grandmother, I wasn't really taught to be a man, only taught to be polite and good. So as I got older I struggled with manhood and identity, there was even a time where I was dipping my toes in the transgender pool. But even now, at the age of 23, I still struggle but I have been practicing balancing my masculinity and femininity. Do I blame the way I was raised? No. Do I blame my father not really being there for me? No. I can't blame anything or anyone, except to keep moving forward, for time waits for no one.
The way I see it, being a man can mean really anything. But to me, a man is strong, not physically, but mentally. This is what I strive to improve. Sure, I have moments where I crumble, but I still get myself back together.
To all men who read this. No matter your opinions, views, race, upbringing, etc. I love you. Let's improve together.

Thank you for making this video. 3 years ago I was took a copious dose of MDMA and was spiked by a close friend that gave me meth capsules in place of what I believe was MD. For about 3 years since then I believe I destroyed a large amount of my memories and critical thinking and understanding of philosophy like in this video, and hearing this has lead me back on the path of being more in control of my way of handling the world around me and expanding my thoughts and emotions and being an observer before making decisions. I learned a lot more here than I ever had before I damaged my thinking around that time. So I really appreciate this video more than you could imagine

As someone who is struggling recently with anxiety over the pressure of trying to achieve success, this hit me right in the gut and had me in tears. What a beautiful, harsh, and honest piece of art. I wish there were more things similar to this in the world ❤

Anxiety is harsh, and the struggle is real and taxing.
It can be done, but it isn't easy or instantaneous as flipping as switch.
For whatever it's worth from a random stranger on the internet, best of luck - honestly.

The part where he says not to blame others hits hard. At a certain point pointing the finger against the world does nothing but only hinder your ability to grow and change. Life’s not fair at all. We are blessed to be able to walk and be healthy but yet we still complain about everything. Even if your life does suck there’s nothing you can do but accept it and see how you can move forward. God speed 🔥

This is my creed. I’ve never heard it put into words but it’s the truths I’ve gathered and realized myself over my nearly 30 year journey. Now that it is verbalized I will listen to this affirmation every single day until I can recite it myself. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You earned my sub.

I have no idea if this will help you, but for me it helped too let what i was feeling go through me instead of keeping it in, i tried too remember that even though they are gone their memory of who they were before they passed will always be there, and instead of feeling like it was the end i tried too look at it like a new beginning.

I have been, lost as to what i wish to do in life, lost as to what i want from it. And when my soul wanders from my body i go here, and contemplate. The voice of Joshua grahm and the wisdom of what you say through him is the cure to the spiritual cancers of this modern world. Weather i agree with all of it or not you speak plain truth in most of this, considered an opinion or not, you give me the push i need to be centered between mind body and soul, Thank you Sir, you are a godsend.

I don’t particularly like being melodramatic, but hearing this has truly helped me. I am at a bit of a low point and have a loss of direction, or more specifically who I want to be and what I truly need to change. This has been some of the most well said (or really written) advice that I have heard in a while. So what I am trying to say is, from the bottom of my heart, thank you ❤.

Firstly I feel annoyance when I read "How to be a man", I really have some problems with every "man", that advice me to be a man, a cruel beast, that wants to kill and don't care of opinoins of others and this advice come to me with not straight, but insults about me being irresponsible man, but truth is, this advice came from mouth of my dad, who left me and my mom.
I truly thank you, the man, who write this monologue.

There is great wisdom in these words. I find myself often coming to the same question of what it means to be a man. Though I am still far from the person I wish to be, I will never stop striving to be better than the person I was yesterday. Though I may stumble and fall from time to time, I will always get back up and push onward. If there are any others out there who feel the same, I hope you eventually find who you are and attain peace

I had good parents. Hardcore Atheist father, Hardcore Christian mother. I understand that though this world is cruel, that it is both easy and impossible to overcome that cruelty. There are too many factors but if you are here, now reading this comment, your ancestors fought, survived, thought ahead, planned, endured, overcame. And now you are here. Man how awesome is today?!
