It is incredible to me that more people havent seen or reacted to this yet, I mean WOW. Carrie just hits ya.
There are not a lot of people in the world that appreciate this type of music. Especially young people who like to listen to pathetic nonsense music. Carrie is outstanding and amazing.
Literally can't listen to her sing without crying, this is too beautiful 💔
Wow , she is phenomenal. She captures the emotions perfectly.
the voice cracks at 3:18??? oh my god, so guttural and real! she's amazing!
Yes!! It's more glorious BECAUSE of the tiny "imperfections", the humanity shines. Leonard Cohan said there are cracks in all of us; that's how the light gets in. As performers, our flaws ARE our talents AND our gifts to give.
Weird, right?
Love is imperfect. That's why we crave it and why we starve without it.
(Could somebody please ask Bradley Cooper if he has married me yet? I have a bit of brain damage and delusions of reference, so I get confused and embarassed, and then I run away sobbing like a fourth grade girl terrified by a BBQ chicken sandwich (hello Beloved Bradley ewe ARE here. It would help if you propose soon as I am getting hungrier and homelesser Day by Day, and I don't know how to love...him? Think of the press it would generate+('
No more sheep for you. Put a ring on my finger and marry me immediately. Otherwise I'll never run away from you sobbing like a fourth grade girl again-_-##@)( and ewe know how disappointed you would be.(
ribute AND forget things
GROK?
NOW GET A REAL JOB.
Happens to us all
I just heard this for the first time today and she immediately became my favorite person to ever do the role. The acting is so moving and her voice is beautiful. Fantastic job.
I adore her! Knowing her voice cracks whenever she gets emotional singing makes 3:00 even more powerfull, she is one of a kind
The best version of this song I have ever heard
Agree. Not musically perfect. But the BETTER for that.❤❤😢
❤
LEA SALONGA THE ORIGINAL MISS SAIGON FROM THE PHILIPPINES IS THE BEST RENDITION OF THIS SONG...
Carrie Hope Fletcher is a Les Mis legend
I've watched her play Eponine and Fantine
This was a poignant performance
Each Fantine is a slightly different character
I met her at stage door in London
She was very gracious
I like Carrie and Colm Wilkinson the best ❤
The clarity and tone of her voice is unmatched. I’ve heard 3,454 versions of this song and hers is just on another level.
That was lovely. Well sung and brilliantly acted. Bravo!
Wow such emotion and voice 😢
My favorite version!
Great Singer ! Another One of Great Female singer of All Times
Fabulous. That’s the only word for it.
I love she lets her incredible voice do the performing while doing minimal hand movements. Less is defiantly more
I love and hVe always loved this version. More peole need to see it
Carrie can sing the phone book and make you cry. Don't bother to give her an audition. She's already hired 😊👍
She's amazing ❤
Carrie is amazing! I am going to see her concert tour in October, I can't wait. I am also seeing new and up and coming vocalist Sydnie Christmas!
I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high and life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untasted
But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
As they turn your dream to shame
He slept a summer by my side
He filled my days with endless wonder
He took my childhood in his stride
But he was gone when autumn came
And still I dream he'll come to me
That we will live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather
Would love to see CHF come to come to Broadway someday. SO supremely talented. ❤
so beautiful...wow
Brilliant as always.
Excellent!
beautiful!!
you know, watching her sing this and Bad Cinderella makes me think she would be amazing as Madame Thenardier. Id love to see her take on that role
SHES GREAT . BUT STILL LEA SALONGA OF THE PHILIPPINES IS THE BEST RENDITION... ❤❤❤
She's covered little Eponine, grown up Eponine and now Fantine
Who’s left, thernardier in a couple decades?
Essa melodia foi elaborada com acordes sublimes, oriundos das esferas superiores, onde residem os anjos...
Title written by someone who has never seen the show.
But what a fantastic show it is...
I didn’t think anyone could come close to Ruthie Henshaw (hope I spelt her name right) but this is absolutely amazing. Still prefer Ruthies version but that could be because I’ve heard it so much and I’ve always loved it. This is absolutely amazing though💜💜💜
Yes she’s on her own but that’s not the name of the song 😂
It’s absolutely the name of the song… What are you smoking?
Can I have some? 😂
The title used used to say ‘’Carrie hope fletcher sings on own’’
@@christofferjohansson1930the song is called “i dreamed a dream” the title of this video used to say “on my own” they changed it because this song is not on my own.
Is she British ?
Yes
Carrie handled this quite well. I prefer her as Eponine, but kudos on Fantine. Unfortunately, as a fanatic of Les Misérables since 1985, I found this to be the most horrific, dishonorable, and blasphemous attempt at a respectable treatment of the "sacred" score. I listened to as much as I could and openly wept at what was being done to "my" Les Mis. If others love it and it brings them to Les Mis, then go for it. Yet, for me it's an abomination. The only two exceptions, for me, is this performance from Carrie and Rob Houchen's "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables."
