I love how Simon gives undying support for Susan! You can see how proud he is of her and how happy he is watching her perform.
I suspect ( righty or wrongly) that Susan’s first appearance in bgt gave to simon a lesson in humility that he grasped and hasn’t let go of.

I still love the fact she lives in her family home (and has done it up a bit) shes never forgotten her roots, she is humble kind and everything we should all be a bit more of

Amazing to know Susan had four professional lessons a week just to learn to speak again, let alone all the practice done by herself and coaches to learn to sing again, for the last year.
It wasn't "just" a minor stroke as she said humbly, her entire dream to get back on stage and singing was totally on the line.
Congratulations Susan for the amazing work you put in. You sounded just beautiful as always ❤️
You could also see the love and supportive energy from all the cast of Les Mis too ( and they were amazing too!).

I still remember Simon's face when Susan started singing. Great to see her singing. Thanks for this. Seen Les Mis a couple of times and it's still the best out there. Susan is proof that you don't have to win to be a success.
She won in her own way. To have suffered a traumatic brain injury myself and could not speak, I know what it takes to get back to singing. The specialist who tested me said that I wouldn't regain my speaking voice, but with voice lessons starting at the age of 53 (I always wanted lessons but never could), I was speaking normally AND singing all types of songs after several years work. I applaud Susan for putting in the tremendous effort it took.

Met Lucy after she did a performance of Les Mis on the West End.
She spent 45 minutes signing autographs, taking photos, talking to fans. She is absolutely lovely.
Luc did something a lot of people wouldn't recognize if they weren't musicians modifying your voice to carry another's and bolster them is a skill very few vocalists have and she does. She did an amazing job.
The most memorable moment of the final seeing Susan Boyle performing again. I can still remember the looks on the judges faces when she came on back in 2009 and the surprise/stunned look when she sang. Good to see her back and wishing you a healthy return after your stroke.
Remember Jonathan Antoine with Charlotte Jaconelli? And to a lesser extent Paul Potts?
You'd think those judges know better than to judge by appearance rather than wait till after the performance.

It’s so hard to battle the physical effects of a stroke…fantastic that Susan is battling back! I’ll NEVER forget how Susan shocked the world..l cried when l heard her beautiful voice and the judges reaction.

Two sick singers singing one sick song. Will never, ever forget the night I heard and saw Susan Boyle sing. I could not believe my ears or eyes! I, along with many others thought that I was being duped. But it was true and still get goose bumps each and every time I hear her. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this. So, so, so much appreciated!

14 years ago this woman stole everyones hearts and she has not given them back ever since. And I can't think of anyone who deserves this love more than Susan does. She became a star, she is so successful, but she didn't change one bit. She is still that humble, sweet, funny person she was when she first entered that stage 14 years ago. It saddened me to hear that had to go through so much last year but it only shows what a special human being she is. She didn't give up. She fought her way back on stage because this is what she loves the most and apperently (and luckily) nothing can keep her from doing what she loves. God bless this beautiful soul. ❤

I wish Susan well, but you know as well as I do that she has a terrible voice. Listen at 2:49 as the sound engineers struggle to find an on-key bit of her performance to fade-up to broadcast. If she looks younger now than when she originally appeared: it's because they deliberately styled her when she first walked out onto the BGT stage to look like a ridiculous, old cat-lady. Only an idíot would imagine that BGT doesn't have a massive wardrobe and make-up department. BGT decides how people look when they go on that stage. And they very deliberately made Susan look like a clown. The judges all ridiculed her. They rolled their eyes. They cut her off mid-sentence. Then they got their perfectly stage-managed moment when Susan revealed she was in fact a better-than-mediocre singer. And they hit the world's headlines. Completely contrived and exploitative.

Bless her heart. She has given so much of herself that it is great to see her on stage. My wife recently also had a stroke. One of the things that have helped her is listening to Susan Boyle sing. Her voice is therapeutic for her. Thank you Susan, you are an inspiration.

This was a show in itself. Fantastic!! What a cast - Imagine as a young performer and getting to sing with Colm Wilkinson, Susan Boyle and the rest of the cast. What a dream for Lucie.

I study some about Suzan. It said her passed away parents whom she had cared for her whole life blessed her with fame and this voice... I'm starting to believe in it. Suzan had conquered all her dreams since day one at Britain's Got Talent, Being part of Elaine Paige's and Les Misérables Live in the most recognized TV shows and concerts can't be only luck, there is something else on a spiritual level.

What I love to see is how everyone immediatly has the biggest smile on their faces as soon as Susan enters that stage.
