Great video. I am using the Showchrome isolator box and spent 2 days cleaning up the rat nest. These two videos was essential in how I chose to do it. Thanks and ride safe.
Wirig it the old way you did didn't you bypas the security feature of the Pathfinder and or show and Chrome for the canbus system? I always draw out a wirig diagram on paper first to get a idea of what im going to do...it saves me loads of time and helps me actually look at what i can improve. The new set up looks much better. As for sena they pronounce it both ways when you call them on the automated system 🤔
I haven't done this yet. Maybe I'll share. What I'm going to do Is connect the wagos to each of the pathfinder distro box at the kitchen table. Mount the distro box on the bike, Then simply connect all the light wires accordingly. Make it pretty with plastic tubing possibly put all the wagos in a box. Done !
Those Wago connectors look great, and look like they will do the job just fine. My last Goldwing, a 2005 GL1800, I had so many accessories and led lights in every nook and cranny and it was a wiring nightmare. The bike sure lit up nice at night. With my 2018 Tour DCT, I decided I am not going to add anything that requires wiring like that. I just don't want the headache. You are doing a great job, and it looks like a nice installation. Keep the videos coming and Ride safe.
I installed the wago 221 series connectors when I added trailer wiring and elevated brake, sequential turn signals to our 2020 DCT last winter. Sure and safe connections, and the clear plastic case makes verifying wire contact easy. I'm not as neat as you, though.
Cruiseman outstanding video super clean I like it and I think I will have my done similar to yours the Waco connectors way cool let me know where I can get those
I had a mega installation of front, rear, and side lights including many Pathfinder products with the Pathfinder PAH60 for the 21 GW. I used the new small profile Wago’s . The Master Honda mechanic did a similar installation method but chose instead of using junction boxes, he used double stick tape to tape the wagos in two horizontal lines on the right vertical side of the gas tank, and only put the PAH60 underneath the seat. The Wagos were organized depending on the type of light - turn signals, running, brake light. This allowed a lot more room under the seat for the tailBlazer harnesses and future items. It is not crowded and easy to see and follow each wire from the light to the Wago hub and from the hub to the PAH60. All wires are color coded based on type and location of light. There is no rats nest or bunches of wires. Wish I knew how to post a picture of it here so it would be more clear. Thanks Cruiseman! It really helped piggybacking on your wiring videos and use of Wagos.
Well as I said here before I was unable to get a 2022 goldwing blue color my deposit I put down in May was canceled this week in November and my deposit was switched to a 2023 red goldwing they claiming I might have it in a month but hey I am not holding my breath on that one but I just hope I have it by next spring lol
Do you have heated gear? Do you/would you run that gear thru the fuseblock or attach directly to battery? That said, I want to thank you and tell you how much I appreciate the time and effort in making these videos. You take away the anxiety of launching into a project and you make it so clear and easy to follow along. Thank you Cruiseman!
Love your videos. Im about to add some accesories and ive ordered the Wago connectors and the pathfinder box. I noticed when you apply the brakes your rear brake lights flash. I had that device on my 08 wing. I now have a 18 dct. Do they make that device for this model? Thanks.
CM, watch the video on your link to WAGO on Amazon for the correct pronunciation. Before wire ties we used electrical tape. Back in the late 70's I had the Honda Shop install ape-hanger on my CL175 and they used tape to secure the wiring. Way before internal wiring. Looked ugly, but I was cool, so I thought..
Thank again Chris and for the shout out. It was your suggestions in your prior that taught me how to model what you have now as I never had the show chrome module. I have all the older Wago connectors in my same sized box but you have many more accessories. I have plenty of remaining ports on my older connectors so I’m good to go. However my back up would be to use the smaller form factor to add on to the pathfinder wires. Thank again for all that you do to help us DYI and save a ton of labor costs. 👍
Can't you just use the Pathfinder box and get rid of the show Chromebox? Why do you need two of those electrical boxes when they appear to do the same thing?

So i watched the first video and bought a bunch of the other wago connectors and now you are switching them, great.

Heated gear can take 15 to 20 amps on its own (check with the manufacturer). Therefore, it is typically a good idea to run directly off the battery.
Very clean and organized.

There are no mistakes, just discovering new ways of doing things
I like that!
Thanks again for the great video….do you have a link for the rolls of heat shrink tubing? All I can find is pre cut lengths.

Nice and tidy.
The Wago 221’s work much better than the 222’s.
How big is the box you’re using?
Would there happen to be a power accessory box, similar to the Pathfinder, for the 2017 and prior year models?
The PathfinderLED PAH will work with the 2017.
@@cruisemansgarage Thanks!
A little 40 weight oil will take care of that problem.put in water night time. Problem solved.
