I stayed on one of them piers back in '95' and you could see the ocean through the floorboards, the waves did get noisy and I wouldn't do it again as I like a bit of comfort and a hot shower these days also I prefer beer prices in Patts, thumbs up for another cool vlog.

Wow..Brings back memories - I too stayed at this place in the 90's and like Mick man said, it was floor boards and could see the sea through the floor boards...a bit disconcerting but novel. At that time 90baht to the Brish Pound . Will return one day soon.

Excellent hotel. Next time I'm down in HH, I'll say there. Up to now I've used one just the other side Milano: Bird Guesthouse. Very similar set-up but Mod looks a little better. And you're right about a fan being enough.

I have stayed there...it's ok for a few nights but there are many more spacious rooms and even suites for the same price.

Been 10 years since my last time in Hua Hin it look a lot more packed with new businesses not so sleepy now I guess.
My mom used to work at that Hilton Hotel back when it was called Melia Hua Hin.
I got to stay there for months during high season I was only a toddler in 1995.

I love to walk around the little side streets of Hua Hin. Victor Guesthouse is really good with a wide array of room choices and a mid size pool.

These are nice places to stay if you can catch them at a good price, like you did. I've stayed at the one to the right of Mod a few times.

Tripadvisor are offering the cheapest room there at 680Bht pn! For a stay early April - in amongst the coronavirus "thing" !! Add the rubbish reviews and I'll give it a miss, thank you. Love your vlogs though!! :)

When you don’t book this room online, how much do they ask then? I don’t think they will offer you the room for your price you paid online.

840 baht is more than $15 a night, more like $27. Still, a nice location.

Yeah, but that amount was the total for 2 nights.

I think I'd need to take a fair amount of Ganja before I could stay there.
