I am a new subscriber as of today and I love this video. You answered a lot of questions.. message to KRISTY… stop saying “you’re starving. “ is a recommendation of mine. I’m 53 years old and I was in a restaurant in Germany in 1980 with my grandmother and I said “I’m starving and she looked across at me and she goes “Richard, you don’t know what it means to starve”. I never forgot those words and the lesson I learned that day.
You guys have a great channel. I will follow you forever. I’m so jealous. You’re in Thailand. I’m just worried about getting sick when I go there that’s why I started watching your videos. Love you love you love you love you.
Another great one, team. Watching from our hotel in Hua Hin and still learning stuff! 😂 looking forward to the next one 😊
Thanks so much guys! Hope you're having a great time in Hua Hin, we LOVED it but weren't there long enough unfortunately (2 days 😩). Such a great city - enjoy!
Another great video, great drone shots, perfect backing music 👏🏻 👏🏻 Felt for you Kristy with the first two meals 🌶️ 🌶️ 😆, looks a lovely place, right up my street 👍👍
Thank you Adz! Yes, Hua Hin was probably our favourite stop in Thailand. Very liveable place, we loved it!🇹🇭 Hope you are going well! 🤗
Lol! "I don't like spicy hot!"said the girl that picks the hottest Thai dishes on every menu!...maybe try a Massaman curry that's not spicy and very mild or a nice Phad Thai. But credit where credit's due, at least you've tried 'em!...Enjoying your Thailand vids, looking forward to seeing more .
Haha I see your point 🤣 Cheers David, thanks for watching!
I have been to most places in Thailand, but not Hua Hin yet. Heard great things about it! Thanks for sharing the video:)
Hello Ian! Hua Hin is wonderful, definitely worth a visit in our opinion ☺️ Thank you for watching!
Great video guys 🤩thanks! On my way there soon🇹🇭
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the video! Have a great time in Hua Hin ☺️
Great video! I just spent 30 days "December" in Hua Hin with my Thai gf. I rented a car and a house with a pool close to Bluport. The house was fully furnished including a full kitchen. I can't eat anything not american, so I cooked most of my meals or ate at the Burger King, KFC or Pizza Hut. We did eat "all you can eat rib's" at a small thai restaurant called the Windmill Restaurant, that was like $12 on Wednesday nights. Pizza Huts pan pizza is amazing, we ate there 3 times for lunch. Burger King Vanilla Milk Shakes were very cooling at 100 b. Pork, chicken and beef tacos, homemade along with grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, steaks and pork chops, were all on our menu.
Hello! Yes Hua Hin has absolutely everything doesn't it? We liked Bluport mall and also Village Market I think it was called. Hopefully you'll get to revisit again soon! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment ☺️
Hilarious , wow guys your videos have bit of everything, loving them, keep up the great work.
🥰
My husband and I were in Hua Hin a week ago. We were there for 2 weeks. Loved it. Definitely hot! We stayed at Laksashuba resort. Beautiful place! Stayed in Jomtien for a week. Another fun place. But I enjoyed Hua Hin more. Planning to retire there. But will scout out Cha Am first. We love the locals. Land of Smiles for sure. Be prepared to see many foreigners that fled the war in their country. Not very smiley people.
Hello! We heard Cha Am is wonderful, unfortunately didnt have enough time to check it out this time. Glad you and your husband enjoyed Hua Hin- we love it to! Cant wait to revisit 🥰
Thank you for watching & taking the time to comment
Nice video, glad you enjoyed it, it's been home to me for over a decade and I still love it 🙏👍
Thank you for watching! What a beautiful place to call home, you're very lucky - enjoy! ☀️🇹🇭❤️
Loved ur video, have been looking for a honest down to earth view of the town. Keep up the good work. Can u recommend a place for a single person to stay? 😊
Hello! Thank you so much, that is very nice of you - we appreciate your kind words ☺️ We highly recommend the hotel we stayed, perfect location and very clean, spacious rooms. Its called the Thipurai City Hotel, we did a review on this hotel in our previous video (link in the top pinned comment & in the description). They also have a sister hotel called the Thipurai Beach Hotel which is meant to be pretty good to. We met quite a few people in our area so it would be fine if you're going alone, lots of singles out and about - its a fantastic place to visit 👌🏽
Ha, I like the smile b4 the tears Steve 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Awesome looking food & beaches!! Glad to see the cameras still vlogging ✌️ be safe ya'll..
Oh this is a different lens haha the one we dropped is ruined 😩 Damn Changs! haha...
Hope you guys are going good looking forward to your camper series! 🤗
This vlog just made me hungry cuz... love Thai food 😊
Its so good! You should get Thai for dinner cuz 😘
Love this video, so helpful with my trip planning thk you 🙏
I like the coupon/cash card system, eliminates handling of money with the food 👌
Glad you like the video, thanks so much for watching! ☺️
Hey guys
Great summary of the town
I done the same as you with regards to the night markets and agree with going to Tamrind first ,i felt there was a better choice and vibe
How good is that crossant shop
Heya Colin! We wish we saw the Tamarind market first as we preferred this one. Cicada was still really good though, loved the relaxed atmosphere there. Yes the cafe, HOC, is brilliant - delicious fresh croissants and great coffee 👌🏽
Thanks for watching, enjoy your time in Hua Hin ☺️
Sure it's not the phuket/krabi beaches but apart from that HuaHin feels so much more genuine, cozy and calm than the phuket/krabi-area... also much cheaper.
Completely agree with you! We LOVE Hua Hin, very liveable city 👌🏽
Hello guys, new subbie. Great content ! What was the price of the train ride and how long did it take to arrive? Thanks
Hello! Thanks so much for subscribing, we appreciate it! All details of the journey from Bangkok to Hua Hin are in the video ☺️
Hi Great aerial shots. Notice you had a drone controller in one of the frames. Was it easy getting your drone into Thailand? What is the process? I read online it isn't an easy process to go through.
Hi Clinton! We had no problems at all with our drone. There will be clear "no fly" zones marked if you cant use it in a particular area, but in regards to getting in to Thailand, absolutely no issue ( we have a DJI mini pro 4) ☺️
@@KristyandSteve thanks for the quick response mate.
Hi guys, fellow Aussie here x x I’m catching the bus from BKK to HH in August for 3 weeks. I can’t wait. And heading from OZ to Phuket for a week this Monday coming. Been going back to Thailand for the last ten years and love it.
Hey there! Have a great time in Thailand, we already miss it! 😔 (we're back home now in Melbourne)
Enjoy! 🍻
@@KristyandSteve yikes back to the cold haha. I’ll be going from cold to boiling hot!
Not too bad in Melb at the moment, around 20 degrees today ☀️ Would rather be in Thailand though haha
Have a nice trip!
Any BL/KinnPorsche fans who got excited like me when they saw Apo Nattawin at 06:09?
Did you see any fitness centers while you were walking around? I try to keep in shape while traveling. I really enjoyed your video.
Hello! There are quite a lot of muay thai gyms in Hua Hin. Not sure about general fitness centres, but Im sure there were a few around (especially in hotels)☺️ Thanks for watching, glad you liked our video!
@@KristyandSteve thanks! 👍🏻
Looks lovely ❤
🥰
Good Video, we were there in March are were charged per day for the beach chairs.
Thanks Martin! Glad you liked our video. Good to know about the beach chairs, we didn't actually hire any on Hua Hin beach (just Khao Takiab), so thats helpful for people reading the comments. Can you recall the cost per day for the beach chairs? ☺️
Hi, Yes Hua Hin is so nice...I do regularly suffer from street dogs that come at me quite aggressively when I walk in small streets or just on the street in the morning...I'll past ignore it and so far it's ending well and it's just barking close to me...Do you already have experience with it ? Thanks and be safe :)
Hello! We noticed a few dogs out and about on the beach but not really around the streets. We saw a lot of cats though! I think the street animals are pretty well looked after by the local business owners and workers, they looked to be in good health from what we saw in Hua Hin (thankfully).
Thanks for watching our video and taking the time to comment! ☺️
nd no
@KristyandSteve It was the same in Jomtien. There are a lot of stray dogs. But they did not bother us. The dogs were healthy and treated kindly by the locals. We loved that.
Come visit the Beach in Hua Hin for the coldest beers and the friendly staff that are happy to show you around Hua Hin.
Hello! Thanks so much, we would have loved to but we've unfortunately left Hua Hin 😔 We'll be sure to pop in next time we're in town! Thanks again! ☺️
@@KristyandSteve Your always welcome at the Beach in Hua Hin. Happy Travels!
Thank you 🙏
Great video guys..i expexted one last week but u didnt post a video..thought u might have been mugged or something 😮..Thanks
Heya Paul! Thanks so much 🥰 we did take a week off, felt lazy on Koh Tao and I (Kristy) got a nasty eye infection and got sick from the meds they gave me😕 We are soooo behind and might upload fortnightly for the next couple of videos - sorryyyyyy! 😢
Im here right now also
How great is it
Oh we LOVE Hua Hin! Such a great place - enjoy!
I preferred the Tamarine market also, so much better, though the pork spare ribs at Cidada were beautiful
We loved the Tamarind market! Such great food 🤤 Thanks for watching our video!
How much for the tuktuk to the other beach please? 😊
Hello! It was 200 baht ☺️
Get the song tao for only 15 Bht. between soi 61 and Takiab beach.
Good to know for next time, thanks Kevin!
Come join us at the Beach in Hua Hin for the coldest beer and the best tour guides in town !
I’m on my way, I want to retire in Thailand,
In Hua Hin go to Anoma's restaurant. You'll be delighted
Thanks for the recommendation! ☺️
That 1st market didn’t look too great on camera. Would you recommend?
Hello! Yes we would recommend. It had a nice, calm and relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful garden-like setting. The vendors were quite spread out so it never felt overly busy either. Both the Cicada and Tamarind markets are worth a visit 👌🏽
@@KristyandSteve thk u will be sure to go then!
ฉันเคยกินขนมบ้าบิ่นผสมกล้วยที่ตลาดต้นมะขามมา2ครั้งแล้ว อร่อยมากๆ
Yum! 🤤
The reason they use food coupons is to prevent employee thefts. If they use cash, employees would just pocket the cash. The coupons are of no use for the employees if they don't turn them in. Kristy will have better luck with skewered meats as the spices are already in Tom Yum broth. The same with som tum, the prior batch maybe very spicy and she's getting what's carried over in the pestle.
Ah that makes sense with the coupons!
Tom Yum Kung is my favourite Thai dish and 9 times out of 10, the spice is perfectly acceptable - just this one blew my head off! haha
Spicy doesn't equal inedible. Don't disrespect people's culture. Just order food that is not spicy.
Yeah, Ok Eric 🙄🤣
You believe in thailand traveling happy
❤️❤️❤️
Another one pronounce it wrong,, hua hin with the H, not hua with a W,,
Thanks for watching , Phillip!
not 🔥 spicy / mai phet😊
Thank you, Jack! ☺️
It's pronounced Hooah Hin...please quit perpetuating the WhaHin. There is no w
Otherwise a good vlog
i do not see the difference
Mi Ped Maak Maak = Not hot please. Basically. Cheers
Thank you Colin! ☺️
Good lord girl you are high maintenance, chill out you are in Thailand, not Miami!
No apologies for being myself, Kevin! 🤣 Thanks for watching our video !
good!!!!!!!
