The airport is not really a valid mode of transport unless you’re coming from Chiang Mai where there’s one flight a day incoming and outgoing. No flights to and from Bangkok.
Thanks for the video & advice, last year, I lived in Jomtien Beach for 6 months and my monthly budget was $3K with an accompany of regular Thai lady 3 times a week without buying any barfines and lady drinks, been eating Thai foods in the market. In my early 50's now, I was planning to retire but I changed my plans so I'm back working in Cali started from scratched, will do this again next year.
Pattaya is popular but not for me. You will always spend more in places like Pattaya, Phuket, and Bangkok for costs. Plenty of more amazing places in Thailand for much less. The beaches are so polluted in Pattaya now that it's not safe to swim.
Seriously considering moving there from Jomtien in late December. Been around six times, including two days this week. Quieter beach, fewer beer bars, fewer motor vehicles, central night market.
Hua Hin looks like a nice place to relax and avoid the party locations to have a nice relaxing holiday. Always sharing those hidden gems in Thailand. Thank you.
Come Join us at the Beach in Hua Hin! Have a cold frothy and meet our visiting professional Calvin Cline and Tommy Hilfiger Models. The Beach in Hua Hin has the prettiest ladies in Hua Hin. Mention this post and your 1st beer is Free. Cheers!
The last time l went to Hau hin was before the pandemic and it was in the process of being built up. Looking at it now, l am astonished at how much development has taken place. I liked Hau hin when l was there and will be going back later next year for a 2 month visit . Great video, on a low budget and the prices for accommodation are amazingly low
It's in the chapter cost of living where I break down the prices for the month around 7:20 full video on it here too th-cam.com/video/GoH3419ozns/w-d-xo.html I rented off airbnb so how long you can rent is always going to be dependent on availability.
In Thailand there are a lot of requirements and lack of fulfulling these requirements come with a pretty big risk. You need to have pubic liability insurance for your drone, and the drone needs to be registered with two separate governing bodies. See here for details uavcoach.com/drone-laws-in-thailand/ If you are caught without proper paperwork you risk 100,000 baht fine or 5 years in jail for each drone flight (battery used).
1. Thank you for pronouncing Hua Hin หัวหิน correctly. 2. Big mistake about getting to Hua Hin: commercial flights are only to and from Chiang Mai, via Air Asia. Currently the airport is mostly for civil/military aviation and aviation training.
Already acknowledged in the comments several times. You can fly to Chiang Mai, two flights a day go there. There are plenty of commenters sharing the knowledge there.
I didn't take the train. So I'm not familiar with the times or costs. They would also change from peak season to non peak season. So I would suggest looking them up when you are travelling so you can get relevant information for your travel. Same as flights.
Soi 80 and 94 is Great Apparently and loads of expat bars and cheap condo's for 5 /6 000 Baht a month.please let me know cos thinking of coming for 6 weeks instead of pattaya for a Break and fitness regime.Cheers.😊
Hua Hin is for retired people - certainly not for younger bar customer looking for red light night clubs - there is no such thing - Hua Hin is known for outstanding golf opportunities
The lack of red light districts and girl bars is a plus for me. They're putting on festivals and lifting their nightclub scene to attract younger travellers. They have great sports facilities and gyms. For a cheap city on the beach, it's a great option for those who want to live a healthier lifestyle.
Yeah way too much music way too much drone shots. It’s the TH-cam review here. Your score is 3 out of 10. And fyi from the pronunciation police , it’s WAA in , not who are hin ! FFS.
Try saying it quickly as you would in normal conversation and don't let your accent come out? So many foreigners like to pick at other people's accents and want to correct them when speaking Thai. I've always found it interesting that Thai people don't do it.
@@paradise-adventures You're missing the point. Try listening to Thai people saying the name of the town. Hoy means "c*nt". Can you see how that is offensive and jarring to the ear? Put your ego aside for a moment. Up to you, as they say. Enjoy your life. Greetings from Cap d'Agde ☀️⛱️🌊🥳🎉🇨🇵🇪🇺. I did a degree in Arabic and German at university and am a British-French dual national with a lot of time in Thailand under my belt so have an ear for languages. All insurance companies have bad reviews online, though. It's always the people who have claims knocked back leaving reviews. Safety Wing is better than most of them.

As a digital nomad looking to keep costs low in Thailand, Hua Hin seems like a great option for me.
Totally agree! You should go to Hua Hin if you are looking for more affordable living with a relaxed lifestyle.
+ it’s not nearly as tacky as Pattaya. Although I love Pattaya, it can get annoying.
@@alansapilipinasPattaya is the resort that has it all and more, Hua Hin would get alittle boring after a while 😊🇬🇧

So cheap for such a beautiful location. Hua Hin will definitely be on the list for places to visit
Absolutely 💯

It's a special place for sure. I know I will be back.
It's affordable to live in Hao Hin. I agree, Hao Hin is definitely worth a visit. Thank you for sharing. Keep up your great work😊
Absolutely the cost of living there is very good for couple, families and solo travelers.
Great info on Hua Hin, so much to see and do there.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks
Hua Hin looks like a nice place to relax and avoid the party locations to have a nice relaxing holiday. Always sharing those hidden gems in Thailand. Thank you.
It really is! I really enjoyed just chilling there rather than in Bangkok during the hotest time of the year.
Great video, full of lot's of great information on Hua Hin in Thailand. Thank you for sharing.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching.
Best video on Hua Hin on TH-cam. Great stuff.
Thank you.
I've got to make my way to Hua Hin in Thailand for sure. Looking forward to your Bali videos.

Hua Hin is a great area mate for retirement thanks for sharing and spreading the word❤
Absolutely, there are a lot of retirees there.
In your cost of living chapter, I'm not sure if I just missed it? Are those estimates per week, or per month?
It is per month.

Thailand has many places like this. Hua Hin is a great city on the beach.
If you fly from BKK to Hua you have to go via Chiang Mai 4-5hrs travel
Thanks for sharing. I didn't know this.

You can also take a taxi from BKK. No problem.
Is the rental price you stated in the video for a long term rental contract or is that short term ?
It was short-term rental booked on Airbnb. You can get cheaper on a long-term contract but also have to add electricity and internet access.

Is there a condo in Hua Hin that has a tennis court ?
I didn't see one, but I also wasn't looking for it. There are Tennis courts in Hua Hin though.
Baan Chai Talay

I use a Luma 55 and a Cinelog 35
