As suggestion...try harbor freight ammo cases for your files wedges chains..files especially with some kinda plastic or padding .to keep files from bounce ing rubbing ..works great I keep all my chainsaw tools plugs. Feulfilters maintained kits in them
When I put important save bits in a safe place, ahh I forget we're I hid em and spend 2hrs looking for a 3 cent item & then buy a new one anyway ! But I'm a senile ol bastard 😂
Great video Pete: I had a similar setup. Now I’m setting up a 2013 Ram 5500 crew cab 4x4 as my daily driver, service/ support truck. It will have plenty of fuel, fluids, tool, equipment, and saw storage. You have a great keep the cost down truck 👍.
My brother switched from the standard toolbox behind the cab to the bottom of the bed slide style, and loves it. He thought he'd have issues with bigger items fitting into it, but like you he uses the under the seat storage for things like that I know years ago weather guard had come out with some like he uses now, but they were bad about leaking if you parked on a slope to where the rain would fill the bed up with rain water if the little drain holes got stopped up. He says he's not had any issues like that from the one he has now. Just a thought if you need additional storage, and need your bed open for whatever. Hopefully you won't need the red cross supplies, but better to have than not. Stay warm up yonder
one time i had a stink bug, looks like a armoured spade shovel shaped ,someone grabbed him off of me .the place where he was killed on my neck started bleeding and 3 wks later went away i think it bled wouldnt scab over either
It would be good if you would talk about diesel fuel. what are you running in the summer versus the winter and how or where do you fill it or store it as well as do you add any additives like anti-gel or cetane boost or ?????
Pete...I'm sure you have them but just didn't see them mentioned...extra bar nuts and extra clutch springs. In retrospect I guess with two saws they aren't as necessary. Sorry!
That was a good video idea. I think I would have to do a little more talking. I have a cap and the hole bed is full! Plus the back seat of the truck 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼
I did not see a collapsible travel fishing pole anywhere? I noticed the white truck in a couple videos ago but did not ask about it in fear it might still be a sore subject. The white one is a good looking rig and hope it holds up well!👍
@nuts319 I know you said months ago it was acting funny. Were you able to get it trade-in before it completed klunked out? What year and motor ya got this round?
I'm not a logger but I keep a ton of random stuff in my truck. Has helped many many times.
Great video Pete.

You got lots of room compared to my truck. 😂
Good vidja
Great video buddy
Amazingly complete- about everything short of machine tools. Even straight crow's feet and line wrench types.
I have a dully with a flat bed with side box's.
Looks great, Pete. It always pays to be well prepared and equipped.
Bill
You use what you got. That sems preety complete for your everyday day scenario. Thanks Pete. Stay safe

Also a pig mat user. Long time ago I had like a serving tray of plastic that I could sit the saw on and contain the oil. Fit in my old box perfectly.
you got every thing BUT the kitchen sink
I use bar mats in my truck. Think I ordered them cheap off amazon or somewhere. They hold plenty of spills and leaks and can be cleaned pretty easy.
Pete, you might want a chainsaw carb adjustment tool for that Xtork carb as well.
My brother switched from the standard toolbox behind the cab to the bottom of the bed slide style, and loves it.
He thought he'd have issues with bigger items fitting into it, but like you he uses the under the seat storage for things like that

Pete, you need a utility bed and vise. So much easier to work out of. I’m great at spending other people’s money 😂. Thanks for sharing

For small engines
I got half of that but it’s so scattered it looks like 3 times as much. My stuff goes where it wants. 😆
And sockets

That is a nice dog. Is it a french bulldog?
Now do a tour of your lunch box😂
Plenty of just in case stuff because you know if you don’t have it you will need it
