Was a mechanic for 8 years. I have seen millionaires complain about 20 dollar flat repairs. I have also simultaneously seen "broke" looking people driving "junk" cars drop thousands of dollars to fix their vehicle without any hesitation. I once had a lady that came in for an air pressure check and then she asked me if I could check her oil quickly because her HUSBAND didn't know how. Got a 20 dollar tip that she would not let me refuse. NEVER judge anyone until proven otherwise.

This guy legit had me mad, when he whistled and snapped at people it made me want to go "excuse you?". His actor did so good. Dude if you're reading this well done! Same to the rest of the cast.

I knew of a repair shop that ran a good business. He took over the business from his father in the forties.
The owner as well as his father were decent and went out of way way to help customers. For instance, one of his customers car wouldn't start about 5 miles from his shop so he called the owner and he came and hooked up the car to his car and brought it to the station to avoid a tow charge. The owner did very well and was very much appreciated.
He reached 75 and he sold the business to another man. The new owner built up a reputation of over charging, conning people with trade ins, as well as other things.
The new owner went out of business in less than 2 years.

I spent 25 years in automobile customer service... unfortunately this behavior is way too common. Automobile dealers and service personnel have earned their reputation honestly.

I will never forget the day a tire company tried to charge me 600 dollars for one tire to replace when all it needed was a small patch repair. Thankfully my grandfather who was alive at the time was there to give me advice and show me how to patch it myself
