@@brandonlewis5444 Correct. I never use Orbit silk anymore. I have not found a need to get that much more, but it is nice to know that I have it if needed!
Hey Fluff, great content! I just received my MBT today. Quick question- do you have that hardware insert plugin on your master bus? Where you can A/B the before and after of your mastering chain? Or do you have to leave one track and bring it into a new one? Thanks
The drummer on that first song really impressed me. Quality mixes too. I would make a fuss about level matching, but (do correct me if I am wrong, its the reason I watched this) the MBP seems very much a loudness-creating piece of gear.
I wanna get rid of my Waves Maxx BCL and can't decide between MBT or MBP for live mixing. thoughts? I see a lot of MBT going into MBC for live. but also a bunch of MBP. so hard to say. thanks guys!
I don’t really agree with the mix, sounds Matt Halpern playing on an indie track lol. The snare just doesn’t suit the style. Got it over the line though. The MBP needs faster attack times imo otherwise I’d buy one. Personally I’d rather a HG2 over the MBT. Rant over. Good vid fluff luv ya
Hey man! Matt Halpern sound-alike here… (thank you), natural in the sense of no samples (at my request) but yes definitely EQ and compression. What you hear is what I played 🤘🏼I engineered the recording of this song so if you have any questions I’m happy to answer!
@@heavyairband I’m being over critical, I just think a metal drum mix/sound doesn’t suit the song. The parts are cool though. The drum mix is kinda like periphery drums on a Radiohead track. It just doesn’t suit
I cooked half an onion. A white one. I found that's all that is needed to make store bought spaghetti really good. Look, I didn't mix the finely minced cooked onion " because minced makes all the difference " I didn't mix it right in the sauce. I put the cooked onion in with the spaghetti. I don't know for some reason slightly caramelized minced white onions mixed in with the noodles jumps the taste? Idk?❤
My Mix bus is LUNA -> Orbit 5057 Summing Box -> 33609 Compressor -> MBT. LOVE IT!!
I’ve been thinking of adding a MBT behind my Orbit. I assume you no longer use the silk on the Orbit?

MBT is one of my all time favorites 🤘🏻
Wouldn’t you prefer a HG2 for those duties?
The MBT is my dream outboard-gear. I am only a hobby musician but with an attitude, I LOVE the sound of the MBT.
I’ve had the MBT since November and put my SSL Fusion up for sale after 5 minutes
It's that good huh?
I love ssl fusion more than MBT
School is in session!
I really appreciate these types of videos, always learn something new.
Damn that song rips! Great review and mix!
Very cool man! Turning off the insert is crazy!!!
Great video! Liked and subscribed!
The MBP is an amazing piece of kit. What a great video we don't see enough of.
So true... But lets keep it that way. I got one myself after deadmau5 recommended it, its the secret sauce of the hardware world ;)

Heavy Air sounds killer!
Nice review. Considering MBT. Now shoot out with Kiive plugin. Thanks for reminding your viewers what your friends call you.
Anyone else forget about the compressor? The band fuckin rules and I’m adding this to my work playlist
what level are you first hitting the mbt at (before the input trim)

You are correct, the MBP is absolutely for volume and limiting
Hello Fluff, what’s your routing there ?
These are so amazing
Thanks, own both and very happy :).
Loved this ❤
Maybe I'm missing something but why would you apply a high pass on your master bus anyway ? Is it a shelf ?
Just to clean up the super low lows. The rumbles.

You should do a video about the SFE on the MBP, that is also magic😀. Best/Mathias
Great review. Very 🆒 Channel 😊😊
2:30 The Scientist and the Artist.
Master Buss Processor is perfection.
Big volume jump in the comparison

Haha I will tell the drummer that. Those drums are 100% natural and what he sounds like. ❤️❤️❤️
@@RiffsAndBeards no samples no compression no EQ? No idea what you mean by natural. Love the channel Fluff. Big fan
Snare is a little hot but works.
1st track overall sounds good for a premaster.
Congrats Ryan

Alfredo sauce is gross
