Looking forward to this series, the diminishing returns is super interesting. 3.20 was the first time I've found myself with a strong enough build and currency to use 2 high end ventors for MFing. 100+ rarity and 20 quant didn't seem like much, but I definitely noticed the difference. Got luckier than I'll ever get, ended up dropping a mageblood. Can't wait for more tips and tricks!
i have an important question: Does Gravebind (Nearby Enemies Killed by anyone count as being Killed by you instead) give quantity bonus to your nearby party members??? because it says Nearby Enemies count as being Killed by you..
@@defaultpoe it does exactly what it says, it doesn't give quantity to nearby allies... It makes nearby enemies killed by anyone count as being killed by you. So your mf applies to monster if they die close to you. Not very practical, since you want to clear the whole screen and monsters are everywhere.
Nice vid, ty. In your google doc there is a information that scion can be used to make es based character. Can you give an example of tree or wholesome es scion build? I mean bow build, not wander
Is it possible to start a league with MF? What is the approximate algorithm, and build if it's real. for example, we take this skill, snipe Sadima's Touch gloves on the trade, etc...
This will be covered in the next part of this Magic Find Guide Series. In short, yes, it's worth to League Start with MF, but only if you can arrange a party with some Aurabot friends. Otherwise better to level up as something else and then convert to MF.
I watched the video but didn't get the idea why mf is good at all if it doesn't affect currency or divination cards. Is it to force better natural chase unique drops?
First time viewer here, glad I caught this right as you uploaded while I was starting to look up magic find. Really detailed guide thanks.
I love all the effort you put into this explanation of the MF Basics. I had trouble finding much about it on TH-cam, so thank you! :)
Thanks for the clear and precise explanation, can’t wait for part 2 🙏🙏

I am not exactly sure, but I think it works. The issue is that nearby is not really that large of an area.
I can't even survive big bosses on a normal build, let alone magic find, but the concept seems super fun to me so thank you for making me interested.
Really cool series! Good stuff.
Nice video, well explained! Thanks Exosta.
Great job, as always Exosta!
Nice guide. Like and comment - you deserved it for real
Pog upload
Thanks!!
Auto subs : ) very good tutorials and i will follow your guide. thank you
The best.

I don't have such kind of tree/build sadly. That might be something to experiment on in the future, might be fun!
They didn't change from 3.19 that currency now is affected by magic find?
They changed it again in 3.20. Now MF doesn't make a difference, just Quant/Rarity of the Area.

Hey, thanks for the video, do you have any pob for an aura bot pls ?
Check inside the mf academy strategy guide, there is a dedicated page
@@Exosta thanks, I will!
In actual status of Poe, where archnemesis was changed, all the info from this video still valid?
Yes this was made after the changes to Archnemesis!
I watched the video but didn't get the idea why mf is good at all if it doesn't affect currency or divination cards. Is it to force better natural chase unique drops?
Item Quantity affects currency or div cards, Item Rarity affects Uniques only. Both are good in different ways!
@@Exosta thank you for the reply.
Does stacking rarity increase the odds of higher tier uniques dropping?
No, just the odds of getting more Uniques!
ggg said rarity affects the type of currency dropped?
That's only true for rare monster drops (godtouched & co.)
Part 2?
It's up!
