Thanks for your hard work! I had insane results combining essences with beasts on white maps specifically, because the chance of getting imprint beasts is much higher since the red beast pool is smaller. I get around 2-4 imprint beasts an hour running maps in ~1 minute. That adds at least 8 div/hour onto the essence profit.
@@alpin2k7im pretty sure it is due to the crucible league mechanic making imprint beasts much more valuable then they are now. I remember at this time during crucible league an imprint beast would go for almost 6.5div.

I'd like to point out that additional rare items with essence modifiers nodes at the bottom are much better than people give them credit for. This is because essence monsters are all rare, and thus they can be conversion monsters. Among these, there is the fracture conversion. As such, sometimes these essence mods will drop FRACTURED. Surprisingly more often than you would intuitively expect. Obviously, most of these drops are not that valuable. However, sometimes you will get essence-specific fractures, like... fractured t8 essence mods. Some of these are worth a small fortune. I personally did not farm essences for that long during the league, but still got above 15 div from this source alone while not getting any of the jackpot outcomes (those can be worth more than 20 div per item). Overall it is not a huge percent of expected income, but well worth grabbing all 4 of those nodes - they are simply more valuable than any of the other usual fillers. I'd say in the long run each of these nodes is worth at least 3 chaos of extra profit per map.
That's an interesting point that I should have highlighted more in the video. I will experiment more on that and include the relevant info inside a new version of the video in next league
@@Sir_Chilly_ you should avoid running even essences on white maps for too long. Red maps provide way more profit. Upgrade your build and farm reds. And btw, no, the odds of good essence fractures are same in white maps, however the ilvl of such items is too low to be desired generally.
This league, before even hitting red maps (I think it was a T7 map) I got a quiver with fractured crit multi essence mod that sold for 30 divines, basically funded my whole build. I would have never even known to price check it if I didn't put it in a dump tab listed at 1 divine and got spammed like 1000 messages. Definitely going to list every fractured item I get now, especially early on.
i tried the strat and i have to say that i though it would be worse than highlighted here. here are my results: - 50 dunes map with the elevated sextant and essence map crafting. - got 13 divs minus the investment the investment (100c benchcrafting and 270c for the sextants) which resulted in 11,4 divs - it took me 2,5h to do so (120div ts build) - i lost around 120c for upgrading to higher essences since the market for specific schrieking essences is just over saturated but i earned a good profit using horti crafting station. - 4,5 div/h IF one doesn't count in the price checking! Remember one has to go through 20x2 (20 essences x 2 types shrieking + deafening) prices, analyse them think about the likelyhood of selling them for these prices and elaborate if upgrading is worth it or not. this took up such a lot time which should be included in the profit/h because it drastically reduces the $/h. so 9div/h is really not an easy thing to do and is a bit misleading. since here is no where mentioned what build is good enough to recreate the earnings its misleading. to farm a map in over 1min is not realistic for most builds + the time it takes to price and sell all the think is not realistic too. was it still good and worth the experience, for sure but i don't think i have fun doing this all the time since my $/h is far below 4,5divs. what build do you need to cut the time in half? 20m end game build? thats just not reasonable and it should be mentioned otherwise it's just misleading. its really funny how much work went into the guide but key things are missing like what to expect and what the scale might be like depending on the build and time to price/sell stuff. for the einhar memory i just ran one and had a profit of 120c. its okay but the time it took i don't know if thats really a good strat.
@@Exostawell would be nice if you would specify it. "not that special" and my over 120div ts build is not enough. seems a bit more special for me. i get that if you target this strat to veterans its "not that special" but for a beginner this could be a deal breaker. would be more complete if you would include the informations but it seems that you don't care about the feedback so why should i. just wanted to give constructive feedback but yeah^^ edit: tbh you come across a bit arrogant and condescending. for someone who writes guides and wants to help out this seems contradicting but maybe i'm not your target audience. wish you still gl.
You are right. Sorry I did not want to be arrogant, you misunderstood my intentsions here, I will sure put a disclaimer about this!@@inHell-rb The problem is that the downtime to price items is hard to compute, and so it is also the time for farming the essences. I used for this test the LW TS build, which is pretty fast, so maybe that's the issue. Similar results could be achieved with Mageblood on or with dedicated investment in movement speed.
@@Exosta Thank you for saying this. The game can be really complex and as a beginner there is a really good chance that i'm doing something wrong instead of the strat being 'bad'. Also i get that it might come across critically but i really don't want to offend you. I like the work you but in to it and if there could be a little more information for a specific audience it would increase the quality for those immensely. Replying just a sentence can be interpreted wrongly but its nice that you do reply and seem to care. You are totally right that time selling things can be a huge time factor and i get that you don't include it to compare raw profits. -> do you recommend using tft and selling them in bulk to save time or what are your thoughts on it? I guess one can save time but gets less? I guess the TS is a strong but it's my first time with the build and as i said i'm a beginner and noticed many downfalls which come with TS on a budget. For example i switched to LA to go through the Einhar's Memory and honestly it was a good choice since i'm a glasscannon and off-screening with TS is not that good of an experience compared to LA. Maybe i should try the map farming strat with LA instead of TS again. I think that would increase the time drastically and would give me more survivability because of the huge off-screening capabilities. When it comes to invest more in my TS build i really need currency to do so and a strat which my build can handle. My LA 4m DPS felt so much better than my 15m TS build killing hard mobs like buffed essences. Maybe i shouldn't have switched to TS that early on a budget but this is one key thing beginners don't know: what farm strat is suitable for my build and many farm strat guide don't go over this point but as i said for a beginner this is a key point. wish you all the best
if everyone will see that video, prices for sextants are gonna rise again, questioning the validity/valueability of this strategy. gosh fucking darn it 😅😅
Hey man, I just wanted to say that your video about essence is simply the BEST on TH-cam. I don't know why you stopped posting videos, I hope everything is okay and you can get back to producing content.
man thanks for the video, i really hope GGG makes this game easier without the noob traps, not everyone has the time to watch videos like this nor the time to studie the game like u did, 1000 maps is crazy man, maybe i think i did already more than 1k maps as i have 800+ hours, but only now im watching this video, imagine people with only 20 or 100 hours
these kinds of "noob traps" happen because of the economy, not much to do with the game itself. If that were to be removed, that would basically just bring all the profits down to the level of what is currently the most inefficient way to run a given mechanic.
Nicely put video! At least in regards to Essence of Corruption, I prefer selling them in bulk for divines rather than using them myself (I'd rather think less and blast more). That also means adding the Elevated Essence Sextant and +20% Corruption on the tree feel especially good for me. Essences are great, but also a threatening farming option. Your character needs to be strong, ideally fast/mobile and not getting full blocked by any weird essence mod combination. For me, Ice Spear Totem Hierophant did the trick incredibly well for that except that he was a bit slow (something that can be remedied with flasks, a higher budgets or a different build setup like Shield Charge). If your character is more than capable of doing T14+ rare map essences, I recommend also considering (all tested by myself in 3.22): - Metamorph: They are, if fully cranked up, a much more tanky but probably less dangerous essence monster that can drop very worthwhile catalysts among other valuables, but if they aren't invested in with sextants/atlas, they are not worth the time. - Destructive Play: Instead of farming Eldritch Influence, farming Maven and getting great loot from bosses and invitations requires a mobile build that can also kill quickly, exactly what a build for essence farming should provide. You will need many different maps for this strategy and cannot farm 1 or 2 maps only, but if your build has good clearspeed, it's a non-issue. Beware that killing a boss too fast makes Maven NOT spawn extra bosses, so you gotta wait a little before finishing the boss off! - Heist/Harvest/Expedition: You can pick any of these and invest well with sextants or the atlas into them on the side. Heist provides value from enchanted contracts (sextant required, but so worth it!), Harvest can be skimmed through for any high juice plants and Expedition can be done with the 1 Explosion Keystone. These options should all be doable for any build that runs essences on a high tier and usually on rare maps, and they are a quick and profitable addition without requiring scarabs if you run Stream of Consciousness. Overall, I love how Essences are a stable farm that can be added on top of or made a primary farming strategy that never seems to get old. You can combine it with many other strats to keep the game enjoyable and it works with a lot of builds.
Thank you for explaining your setup. It is always advisalble to combine essence with other league mechanics and influences. For corrupting, I d still use the remnants on the purple essences to get the t8 essences though. Those are very lucrative. I usually combine Essence with Harvest. Destructive play is great but I am too obsessed with running optimal layouts only.
@@Exosta agreed :p I'm just too lazy to learn when or when not to use Corruptions (should learn to use at least in your said scenario though), same reason I am appalled of Crop Rotation and think Extreme Archaeology is the most OP keystone right now (it's seriously broken though)
From my personal testings compasses greatly reduce income from essences, bck you no longer can corrupt them. I know its add an extra mob, but it also replace essence with remnant, and block you from corrupting it, and thats in most cases reducing your profit.
I thought the same before doing the 1000 maps test. While in theory essences get worse with a remnant of corruption already put inside them, in practice the fact that each remnant costs between 2 and 3 chaos makes the sextant worthwhile, especially the elevated one. The farming results of the 1000 maps we ran are clear: elevated > awakened > no sextants!
In my personal testing he went over what you’re explaining and proved with data that it’s not the case. You’re effectively exposing exactly what he said he in the video.
That's partially true. In fact I would have liked to publish this video earlier. I didn't have time. Anyway, don't get this wrong: if you check the farming results section you can totally see how profitable it is!
Amazing guide. I always get both corrupted nodes. The quality of life of not having to worry about running out and having to buy them is worth any potential profit loss. Just my two cents.
Wow, good job! I never knew that sextants could be good, might even try this strategy next league About essence flip, yeah, you get more valuable ess, but you can never sell a flipped tab on tft... I gave up after 2 days and sold them for divines on trade and it was not very comfortable :sadge:
I always do a big d essence farm each league. It's always been one of my favorite things because I felt good about not having to fk with compass's. Way to go and ruin my fun lol. I have always, however, taken the entire wheel at Crystal Resonance. So I feel vindicated there.
I put those there for flexibility. I want the guide to be as evergreen as possible, so I put an Atlas Tree for League without the Essence Map Device Mod.
Hi great video very informative. When checking the spreadsheet I think there are a few mistakes in the profit per map. In the first set profit without sextants for 10% and 20% corrupted you used calcs at the end that are for sextants so they are more profit than shown. For the awakened sextant section the 60% calc for the sextant price is highlighting the wrong cells so that price is too large. For the elevated sextant section the 60/70% calcs are highlighting the wrong cells so there profit is inflated. Again great video just wanted to point out these mistakes in the spreadsheet so they can be fixed.
Thank you so much for noticing these mistakes! Appreciated! So based on the corrections, without Sextants going for 0%-10%-20% Remnant Chance is pretty much the same, very hard to tell the difference. One could argue that it is better to run 20% chance so you can sustain your Remnants better. However, by having 20% Remnant you will profit less on the Corrupted Essences, struggling more to reach bulk. Awakened Sextant did not show any trend between 0-10-20%, while Elevated Essences confirmed the positive trend increasing the % of Remnant Chance. Thank you so much again!!!
yea wtf is this bs I was setting up the strat I buy sacred grove sextant 44c each instead of 33 on the spreadsheet and those duplication sextant are 100c minimum @@aaronbrockman9235
well but a deafening essence is monetary equivalent to 3 shrieking in almost all cases. so you should corrupt too shrieking, at elast like contemp or loathings
I run essence with almost every atlas I do, and unless I'm juicing, I always use the compass for 1 additional essence and 50% chance to contain a remnant of corruption. This isn't the best if you are farming essences, but it allows me to over sustain remnants and I corrupt every essence with more than screaming. I also suggest taking the 4 nodes for essence monsters drop a rare item with an essence mod. Essences drop a lot of fractured items, and sometimes you'll get a fractured essence mod, which can be an insane drop.
That's always a good idea. I recommend you to go for elevated sextants instead of awakened, it is more profit/hour according to my farming results in the video. Also you must be selective with the essence you corrupt, or you reduce your profit/hour. Imo only corrupt essences which contain at least 1 screaming and 1 shrieking, no screaming alone or 1 shrieking alone.
Do the rare items with an essence mod drop identified? If not identifying every dropped fractured item is a huge PITA and a massive waste of time hoping for an insane fracture.
The essence-type charged compasses (sextants) appear to cost around 6c each in bulk. That means it would cost an extra 600c (~2.6 divines) to run the 100 maps using sextants. Did you factor that into your profit calculations? Essence-type Einhar memories also cost a lot to run, and the cost of the memories should be factored into the profit calculations as well.
Just watching this now and I was wondering why you don't recommend corrupting when there's a single shrieking. If it gets upgraded to deafening, that's the same as having 3 of that essence but without corrupting, you only get 2.
Because remnants cost a lot! you have a little chance to upgrade to defeaning, it's not 100%! You need to make the math according to current prices for remnants. Generally though I would avoid.
Heya. Elevated sextants go for 60c each while the awakened ones go for 4 usually and i tend to pick them up for 3c per. With the awakened ones being 3c would that make any difference? Thanks
So because crystal resonance prevents the remnant of corruption releasing the monster, does it now become 33% for add 1 essence, upgrade tier and upgrade group?
In your mention about poe ninja prices you are wrong with your example (upgradeing shrieking essence of loathing for deafening) 2x shrieking is same or even more c than 1 deafening (and you have the cost of remnants included) in most cases shrieking essences are better and easier to sell as well. In some cases like the +2 bow gem essence the essence doesnt ger used for anything else than the +2craft which is allready +2 at shrieking so the deafening doesnt even sell if you dont lowball for essence flippers, there are barely any cases where its prefered to have deafening essences in general tradewise.good video still though
You say that you would corrupt a single shrieking essence of contempt or loathing because those are particularly valuable. But if you corrupt you have a 1/3 chance to upgrade to deafening and thus get about a +50% increase in value, a 1/3 chance to change the essence to a less valuable one and thus losing at least 50% of the value, and a 1/3 chance of adding a meh essence. The expected value is thus not good, maybe even negative.
At the time I made the video the math worked for me, maybe things changed later on, not sure. Anyway, always make your math as you did before committing to a strategy choice. With the video I just wanted to give you the instruments to learn managing remnants yourself, since prices are going to change later on.
Honestly still better off just using charged compasses for remnants , guaranteeing an extra essence monster , it also corrupts almost all for you so you don’t even need to use remnants , and gives 50% drop chance of remnant for every remnant monster you kill giving you tons of remnants to sell. Then it’s a no brained just focus on proper atlas spec and killing as many essences per hour you can and you don’t even have to worry about corrupting anything cause it does it for you
essence farming seems to be dead since almost all essences went down 2-3c for cheap ones that is about 30-40% which is a lot. even einhar can't save it. i farmed 25 maps like this and my beats were like 180 minus the thing one needs to buy for selling the beasts. its not worth it there are so many better ways to farm currency. i really liked essence farming but its just not worth it anymore. i still love the detailed information. very educational, ty
Wait so the extra profit from using sextants come straight from selling the remnants of corruption? I'm a bit shocked to see less defeaning essences drop compared to using elevated/awakened, i guess you have extra essences in your map but overall you get so many lesser tier ones. Interesting results.
14:49 this doesnt really matter because shrieking doesnt sell inn std. and the additional time u spendings selling shriekings is not worth the very small increase in profit
I think it's worth a try to sell some specific types of Essences. For example Shrieking of Zeal are sought after, cause they provide 30% move speed for boots.
DISCLAIMER: The profit calculation in the Farming Results is based on my Lightning Warp TS build, so your profit/hour may be lower if your build is slower. However, in my opinion, this is still one of the most profitable strategies in the game right now, especially considering you can pair the strategy with other ones. So how do you like to play Essence? Do you use the Sextants? How many small passives for % chance to have remnant of corruptions do you allocate on the Atlas tree? Let me know in the comments! Special thanks to Ribatsu and Sooshi from the MF Academy Team, who helped me to gather the data!
upgrading without doubling makes sence tho. you get eather 2 "t2 essences" or 4 "t3 essences" .. but to get t2 you need 6 to upgrade them so you are basicly making a profit of 2 "t3 essences" this is especialy good if you are harvest changing them to a essence worth more.. in big bulk the bigger essences seem worth more in eather way especialy if you harvest swap them.. or where am i wrong here?
Some essences don't scale perfectly in price and essences are better to sell in bulk so having more is easier to sell. That being said I do agree with what you're saying especially with contempt or other essences used to roll weapons
It really comes down to the price of Remnants. In my opinion, with current Ancestor prices it is ok to corrupt 2 shrieking essences of loathing, but not really 2 shrieking essence of greed. That said if you factor in the harvest swap you are right, it could be fine to corrupt other essences with 2 shriekings
are shaping the world and shaping the skies worth to allocate if I'm farming low tier map? because seems like it has moderate chance to tier up my dropped maps so I can't sustain the sprcific maps
Ill say, i rerolled essences with lifeforce worth 1div and gained 4more divines. So just 3div profit. Up to you. But 3divs is 3divs at the end of the day
I'm corrupting every essences in Einhar's memory of crystal prison but I only got 1 Divine worth of essences. With 25 remnant of corruption it cost 1.8 divine in total which is a huge lost. Any I doing anything worng? Run it 3 times similar happened.
Maybe you were just unlucky, a simple size of 1 proves nothing. That said it might as well be that the Memories are overpriced for their profitability in the currenct market scenario.
Wait i dont get this, if you corrupt 2 shriekings into 2 deafenings, they dont duplicate but 2 deafenings are equal to 6 shriekings right? You still get extra profit in general ?
Yes but when you think about it, if you do nothing you will still get 4 total shriekings (cause they duplicate, deafening don't), without spending the remnant.
@@Exostathat is true indeed. But it matters only if you are stingy with remnants, which im not. By using the compass, i have unlimited supply of those Not saying your strat is bad, but i prefer to not overthink it and corrupt everything (unless it's only wailing)

Also, essence is not my main farming mechanic, but the secondary one. @@Exosta Yea the monstrous treasure is the good old stronboxes right? From the old Prophecy that used to be hundreds of chaos? If so, this is amazing for the juiced MF
That's pretty straightforward, basically you sell them when you have bulk (like 50+ minimum). You can also use Discord, TFT or also the MF Academy (we have a little service center as well)
I have never seen such a bad atlas skill tree. Pretty impressive to see someone have over 6d/h with this nonsence. Get carried by build power and speed I guess. If you can do map in 1 min and get 20c per map, its still 6d/h. But its not 6d/h for someone who cant clear 3 screens/s.
I don't really see your point here. First, you don't need clear speed to farm Essences... just single target and movement speed. Second, the Atlas Passive Tree is only focused on Essence Farming, no other mechanics, intended for people that want to go all in with Essences. Obviously you can drop the Extra Content Passives and Stream of Consciousness, as well as the Kirac nodes if you want to integrate the Essence farm with something else.
@@Exosta the point is that the most currency you get is from leagues. Meaning that if you put all points into 1 strategy, where most of the points hold little value. For ex. 1% quantiti per point, 20% chance (league blocking) for 1 in 5 chance to get extra essence for 20 points. So many points are inneficient and as resault your currency per map is low as you only get 1 league. For builds that clear pure map without leagues in 3 minutes, they have to emgage 80% of their time with nonleague map content. Pure essence earnings might be 15d/h, but becouce they have to do maps, they only spend 10mines of hour doing pure essence and 50 minutes doing pure maps with base rewards of 100c/h. As resault their currency per hour is 2.5d per hour instead of your 6 or 10 or whatever. The point is that map rinning looses you so much time and gives little rewards compared to leagues. Therefore the best way to make the most money is to spend the least % of your time doing maps instead of leagues. The obvious choice is ,,get good, play bow and invest hundered divines" to spend less time mapping compared to league content. But equaly good choice and for most much easier to achive is to put multiple leagues into atlas to incease the % of time you spend doing leagues. For example if you put delirium in, you will get about 10c extra for each map. If you put in metamorph, you might get extra 15c each map without much slowing yourself. Now I will assume few things. If you do map in 2 minutes incl essence and have 10d/h, you have 0,3d/h=75c. If you add in leagues that barely slow you (exp+deli), you get extra 25c with similar clear time. Your earnings however will be 30% higher. So instead of 10d/h you could be doing 13. All becouse your atlas is bad. Thats why I say get carried. When you was focusing on minmaxing your character, I was focusing at minmaxing league earnings. My earnings are close to 1 divine per map, but map takes me 13 minutes. Imagine i didnt play absolution as clear skill.
1 deafening will often sell for the price of 2 or 2.5 shrieking. And you are paying 3c for 25% chance to upgrade. So only corrupt when the difference between all shrieking and all deafening amounts to 12c... which is pretty rare.
@@oneoranota 2 or 2.5 if you count price fixers as well, I've never had someone that sold it below 3x answer my whispers. Just like with oils, if you need 3x to make y, y will always cost at least 3 times x, unless you bulk buy. And by bulk I'd say hundreds of chaos.
@@oneoranotayou can buy remnants for 2c each. Anyway its not that rare, you can upgrade 3 essence mob like shrik, shrik, scream, into def, def, shrik, and that almost always profit. When you have chance for corrupted essences thats also profit (even more if those double), in worst case you still can add up extra essence into mob so its not always loss of 2c.
Upgrade is not 100% chance, it's only 25% chance, and remnants are expensive. So let's say you have 1 shrieking essence of greed which is about 1 to 2 chaos on market. You are using 2,7 chaos of remnant to upgrade it at 25% chance to get a deafening greed which is only worth 3-5 chaos. Now let's make the math. On average you take 10 chaos to get the essence upgrade tier, which brings your reward from 2 c to 5 c at best. That's wasting money. It is better to just open the duplicate shrieking essence and get those 2-4 chaos instead of using the remnant! Different is the case of shrieking essence of loathing, because shrieking is 5c and deafening 15c, so it is worth to attempt the upgrade. It's a bit convoluted but that's how it is

so 9div/h is really not an easy thing to do and is a bit misleading. since here is no where mentioned what build is good enough to recreate the earnings its misleading. to farm a map in over 1min is not realistic for most builds + the time it takes to price and sell all the think is not realistic too.
was it still good and worth the experience, for sure but i don't think i have fun doing this all the time since my $/h is far below 4,5divs. what build do you need to cut the time in half? 20m end game build? thats just not reasonable and it should be mentioned otherwise it's just misleading. its really funny how much work went into the guide but key things are missing like what to expect and what the scale might be like depending on the build and time to price/sell stuff.
for the einhar memory i just ran one and had a profit of 120c. its okay but the time it took i don't know if thats really a good strat.
You just need a very fast build with decent damage, it is nothing special really...
@@Exostawell would be nice if you would specify it. "not that special" and my over 120div ts build is not enough. seems a bit more special for me.
i get that if you target this strat to veterans its "not that special" but for a beginner this could be a deal breaker. would be more complete if you would include the informations but it seems that you don't care about the feedback so why should i. just wanted to give constructive feedback but yeah^^
edit: tbh you come across a bit arrogant and condescending. for someone who writes guides and wants to help out this seems contradicting but maybe i'm not your target audience. wish you still gl.
That was very informative, thanks. Trying to farm essences for the first time. Earned subscription. Keep good work guys!
Thanks for the tips man. Amazing piece of video. I'm gonna implement this strategy into the next league if nothing changes by then.
if everyone will see that video, prices for sextants are gonna rise again, questioning the validity/valueability of this strategy. gosh fucking darn it 😅😅
Hey man, I just wanted to say that your video about essence is simply the BEST on TH-cam. I don't know why you stopped posting videos, I hope everything is okay and you can get back to producing content.
Thank you so much mate! As soon as the League launches I hope to male some new videos! Fingercrossed!

Hi! Good video, this format is insane
Nice guide!! small thing to add 8:10 Maps u can farm eater/exarch in t14+ maps, if ur lacking a little bit to go t16 ^^
Great video as always. Thanks so much for the clear explanation and the summary
Thank you ! Gonna try to add elevated sextant to my white map beast farming now ;)
Amazing work. And this spredsheet!! Sub 100%. Ty for Your hard work
man thanks for the video, i really hope GGG makes this game easier without the noob traps, not everyone has the time to watch videos like this nor the time to studie the game like u did, 1000 maps is crazy man, maybe i think i did already more than 1k maps as i have 800+ hours, but only now im watching this video, imagine people with only 20 or 100 hours
these kinds of "noob traps" happen because of the economy, not much to do with the game itself. If that were to be removed, that would basically just bring all the profits down to the level of what is currently the most inefficient way to run a given mechanic.
You realize the complexity and difficulty is the entire reason the game is so popular.
If your character is more than capable of doing T14+ rare map essences, I recommend also considering (all tested by myself in 3.22):
- Metamorph: They are, if fully cranked up, a much more tanky but probably less dangerous essence monster that can drop very worthwhile catalysts among other valuables, but if they aren't invested in with sextants/atlas, they are not worth the time.
@@Exosta agreed :p I'm just too lazy to learn when or when not to use Corruptions (should learn to use at least in your said scenario though), same reason I am appalled of Crop Rotation and think Extreme Archaeology is the most OP keystone right now (it's seriously broken though)

accurate intro haha ~ and thnak sfor the vid!!!!!
I rewatched the intro like 5 times and laughed my ass off every time 😂😂😂
This is really useful
Thx for nice summary on essence farming.
1k maps, wow! Great content!
That’s an amazing strategy for the second or third week. Now you need someone more expensive.
I agree with you!
great video! Subs!
well explained subscribed & liked.
thank you so much for the info.
Wow, good job! I never knew that sextants could be good, might even try this strategy next league
About essence flip, yeah, you get more valuable ess, but you can never sell a flipped tab on tft... I gave up after 2 days and sold them for divines on trade and it was not very comfortable :sadge:
Yeah you must be more tft-indipendent in that case
amazing content
I always do a big d essence farm each league. It's always been one of my favorite things because I felt good about not having to fk with compass's. Way to go and ruin my fun lol. I have always, however, taken the entire wheel at Crystal Resonance. So I feel vindicated there.
Hahahaha great intro!
super guide and super atlas, I only have one question about the Gatyways's why are Mortal and Eldritch activated, you don't need them at all or
I put those there for flexibility. I want the guide to be as evergreen as possible, so I put an Atlas Tree for League without the Essence Map Device Mod.
Every league i go with expedition + harvest and essence with either red or blue eldritch. Pretty stable income for better gear
Yeah, consistent profit is very good early on in my opinion
Nice vid.
To double-check, can Screaming purple (Group E) essences get corrupted to Group F (Insanity Horror Delirium Hysteria), or only Shrieking?
Yes, also screaming can!
Yeah. I was gonna say: PoE Wiki says any Scorn, Envy, Misery, or Dread Essence can net you the Group F's.
@@Exosta Ya no problem! Another question I had was what was the cost of the maps themselves and did they all have the additional essence modifiers?
@@Exosta Its also crazy now how the charged elevated compass is 115 c now
yea wtf is this bs I was setting up the strat I buy sacred grove sextant 44c each instead of 33 on the spreadsheet and those duplication sextant are 100c minimum

well but a deafening essence is monetary equivalent to 3 shrieking in almost all cases. so you should corrupt too shrieking, at elast like contemp or loathings
oh sorry for that i put pause and comment. idont see the whole video first.
What essence mods should we be looking out for the most?
That's always a good idea. I recommend you to go for elevated sextants instead of awakened, it is more profit/hour according to my farming results in the video. Also you must be selective with the essence you corrupt, or you reduce your profit/hour. Imo only corrupt essences which contain at least 1 screaming and 1 shrieking, no screaming alone or 1 shrieking alone.
Do the rare items with an essence mod drop identified? If not identifying every dropped fractured item is a huge PITA and a massive waste of time hoping for an insane fracture.
@@ComputerManDanMiller it's not a waste of time once you know what bases and stats sell for multiple divs
Ooooo! Duly noted!
Sextants have 4 uses not one. 1 sextant = 4 maps. Your calc is way off
@@bgsoutoGood point - so more like 1.5c per map then? That would make it 150c for the 100 maps for normal sextants.
Obviously I calculated the price of the sextant when making the mat for the profit
@@ExostaOk, thanks for making that clear!

Lol
thanks for the vedio!is any chance to farm essence and betrayal during farming invitation?
Why not, sure
Just watching this now and I was wondering why you don't recommend corrupting when there's a single shrieking. If it gets upgraded to deafening, that's the same as having 3 of that essence but without corrupting, you only get 2.
Because remnants cost a lot! you have a little chance to upgrade to defeaning, it's not 100%! You need to make the math according to current prices for remnants. Generally though I would avoid.
Elevated essence sextant price skyrocketed after this vid so considering using normal version, much cheaper & easier to maintain.
I did not notice a change, it is always about 60-80 chaos, and according to the math that's still the best profit!
@@Exostalast time I chrcked was 3h ago, it was 120c/pop
It is 150c - 1d/pop now 😂
Heya. Elevated sextants go for 60c each while the awakened ones go for 4 usually and i tend to pick them up for 3c per. With the awakened ones being 3c would that make any difference? Thanks
Elevated are still better if my math is correct
So because crystal resonance prevents the remnant of corruption releasing the monster, does it now become 33% for add 1 essence, upgrade tier and upgrade group?
No, the odds stay the same, it's just that the monsters are not released when they should
In your mention about poe ninja prices you are wrong with your example (upgradeing shrieking essence of loathing for deafening) 2x shrieking is same or even more c than 1 deafening (and you have the cost of remnants included) in most cases shrieking essences are better and easier to sell as well.
Then it’s a no brained just focus on proper atlas spec and killing as many essences per hour you can and you don’t even have to worry about corrupting anything cause it does it for you
Yeah that's great quality of life for sure!
essence farming seems to be dead since almost all essences went down 2-3c for cheap ones that is about 30-40% which is a lot. even einhar can't save it. i farmed 25 maps like this and my beats were like 180 minus the thing one needs to buy for selling the beasts. its not worth it there are so many better ways to farm currency. i really liked essence farming but its just not worth it anymore.
i still love the detailed information. very educational, ty
Well it's still almost 10 divines/hour with the best variant of the strategy, so I would not call it dead tbh xD
now do delirium mirror farming update!
:)
It might be an idea for a future video, before I want to make a video about MF High Budget in League, then something about Torment
Wait so the extra profit from using sextants come straight from selling the remnants of corruption? I'm a bit shocked to see less defeaning essences drop compared to using elevated/awakened, i guess you have extra essences in your map but overall you get so many lesser tier ones. Interesting results.
Yeah I was surprised too, it seems that the value of the remnants, and the added number of Essences more than compensate
Special thanks to Ribatsu and Sooshi from the MF Academy Team, who helped me to gather the data!
upgrading without doubling makes sence tho. you get eather 2 "t2 essences" or 4 "t3 essences" .. but to get t2 you need 6 to upgrade them so you are basicly making a profit of 2 "t3 essences"
this is especialy good if you are harvest changing them to a essence worth more.. in big bulk the bigger essences seem worth more in eather way especialy if you harvest swap them..
or where am i wrong here?
Skies and Mountains are still good for the extra value in Missions. But if you are lower tier I see little point for Shaping the World.

Im curious, has anybody tried to actually prove mathematically profitability of rerolling essences in harvest? Or is it just empyrical?
Ill say, i rerolled essences with lifeforce worth 1div and gained 4more divines. So just 3div profit. Up to you. But 3divs is 3divs at the end of the day
@@TheVillainArc363 That is nice, good for you. Thats only empyrical evidence though.
is any of this applicable given essence isn't an option on the atlas now?
Simply allocate the Keystone Seventh Gate and all the Gateways, so you can get access to the Map Crafting Option for Essence!
@@Exosta Oh! is that what the Seventh Gate means!!! I had no idea, thank you so much!

Maybe you were just unlucky, a simple size of 1 proves nothing. That said it might as well be that the Memories are overpriced for their profitability in the currenct market scenario.
Wait i dont get this, if you corrupt 2 shriekings into 2 deafenings, they dont duplicate

Essence Farming

Step 2: do both ;)
But how do we sell them, no video tells you a step by step, great video otherwise
That's pretty straightforward, basically you sell them when you have bulk (like 50+ minimum). You can also use Discord, TFT or also the MF Academy (we have a little service center as well)
should i run memory in white or red map?
It's the same

urrent league
That's definetely on the expensive side eheheh
1 deafening is still better than 2 shrieking tho, so why wouldn't you try to upgrade them?
1 deafening will often sell for the price of 2 or 2.5 shrieking.
And you are paying 3c for 25% chance to upgrade.
So only corrupt when the difference between all shrieking and all deafening amounts to 12c... which is pretty rare.
@@oneoranota 2 or 2.5 if you count price fixers as well, I've never had someone that sold it below 3x answer my whispers. Just like with oils, if you need 3x to make y, y will always cost at least 3 times x, unless you bulk buy.

It's a bit convoluted but that's how it is
@@Exosta well obviously you wouldn't try your luck on a worthless essence 😂
elevated sextants are 130 c nowsurely it cant be worth it anymore
Idk everytime I watch a video on how to farm essences I feel like the tldr is just farm something better and trade for it.
This is a 10 divines/hour strategy alone without additions, it is one of the most profitable strategies out there
