I told my mum about a JW elder 'touching' me. Instead of getting the support a young kid needs from her mum, my mum called a load of elders around to our house (including the abuser) and they forced me to say that nothing happened and scared the life out of me - I was only 13 at the time. I left home at 16 and never seen my parents or the JW's since - I have never complained or mentioned this before as even now I tremble at what I went through those 28 years ago.

I can't say my life is 100% normal but I'm married with a little boy :-) Also, Watching the Watchtower has enabled me to meet nurses people and discussing difficult things has helped for sure. I'm Kenyan, only 26 yrs, and I remember being 4 years old and our nanny used to tell me not to go too far off, while playing outside cause this Pastor Gilbert Deya, was busy stealing kids. That used to traumatize me so much. These ruthless people snatched children from families and hospitals and sold them to people who were looking for children

As an atheist, I actually feel really bad for all this. All these situations are about innocent people suffering on the hands of those they truly believed in. If there's hell, it's right here, it still happens and a lot of people will carry the scars of what happened to them.

Sadly enough, I both remember and have documented the tragic rape of a little girl by a priest. She stated that as she was being raped that she "didn't know what was going on, only that I felt this terrible pain, and that I wanted to die..." After this tragedy, the priest said, "If you tell anyone, your parents will burn in hell..." Ultimately he was exposed, indited, and sentenced to prison. He died in prison less than a year later. Karma really visited this man- almost as if it had become sentient. But, what angered me about Jimmy swaggart was his asking the prostitute about her daughter? I mean, leave little kids out of the potential for the sexual act. Leave kids alone.

how to tell if a church is scamming you: ask yourself how many private jets they own. if the answer is more than zero, you’re being swindled.
The treatment of the poorest members is a more accurate way of detection. They have nothing to offer but faith and loyalty. If they are treated well, they practice what they preach. If they are looked down upon and gossiped about, they are only interested in your money.

Honestly, as an atheist, I'm completely fine with differing beliefs like Jesus or the Flying Spaghetti Monster, but when you force your beliefs upon others such as through murder, assault, blackmail, or even flat out genocide that's when I have a problem. 'Spotlight' was such an amazing movie. I absolutely loved how raw they depicted the scandal, and brought the attention to it that needed to be there. Those poor children... they will carry this with them the rest of their lives.

First of all no one can express or receive love or any other desired emotion in its entirety if you them they don't know themselves and I have never heard a hippie explaining how to become physically fit mentally sound spiritually balanced being able to express physical freedom which is key for one to start living up to the pleasure potential responsibility of femininity and masculinity. For only at this level of body awareness does one constantly consistently have the self control discipline loyalty devotion appreciation and respect confidence playful determination to validate confirm and signify that they are consciously aware physically able to participate in being true towards love honor and the creation of life. I have witnessed traveling evangelist come to my church- get up on stage and be the nicest most wonderfully blessed messengers, and when they finished, run straight into my pastors office demanding to be paid and wanting all the money in the donation buckets-- disgusting, truly disgusting....maybe the message was good, but I know there is a special place in hell for them.

I knew some people who worked with Jimmy. He had his pitfalls but I believe he’s legitimate in his beliefs unlike most these frauds. Billy and Ruth Graham stood by him the whole way and showed him nothing but love and compassion.
I respected Graham for his loyalty to his friends who had gottem in trouble. Nixon was another one, he stood by him to the end, even officiating at his funeral

I was a single mom who had to make do with below poverty level income to support my children. I didn't have a way to get to church back then unless my friends would take me. I would practically sit in front of the tube watching Jimmy, Jim,Tammy,Dollar, and Tyson. LOL!!! My teenage daughter, and her friends found sheer entertainment watching some of these tele evangelists. They would laugh,and make coments thinking how ridiculous they were acting out to scam feeble minded so called "BELIVERS" out of their last dollar if they could. I didn't know what to think, and I was a bit confused, and on a guilt trip due to these "preachers," mandated you to tithe your last cent to them, or The Lord wouldn't BLESS you, and you would end up impoverished. I was comfused because this was my only connection with Church,and connecting with God, but, in hindsight I look back on it now, and have the satisfaction knowing that I was "selfish," and holding back on giving.. Money was tight back then.. I had mouths to feed, and we needed a roof over out heads! So, glad I didn't allow these avarice 🐺s in 🐑's clothing con me into parting with every red dollar WE NEEDED!!!! My kids, and their teen friends had more common sense than some older adults that gave their hard earned money, often the meager Social Security checks that provided for their survival.They urgently needed every last cent, so I do feel for these poor Seniors who depended on it to survive, eat, and buy life saving medication which they desparately was an essential for their health. It made a difference between life or death,and often had to go hungry, if the check did not cover a couple weeks until the next due check.They had to also choose between eating, or taking medication for pre-exsisting conditions. So, their check didn't cover all their life saving necessities. I can't imagine how some felt stressed out over not being able to tithe to these so called preachers, and breaking God's Laws if they wouldn't obey, and GIVE. One has to consider that many have mental limitations on their capacity to use cognitive reasoning, and sort things out in their minds to a logical conclusion. They just are not equipped with the mental faculties they once had in their prime. So, many prosperity preachers would use such elderly such as these to their adavantage. They used manipulation, and The Bible as a weapon to justify why one should tithe at least 10% of their income, or God wouldn't bless them, but give a curse instead. So, this was a scare tactic so the indigent elderly would release some cash. Some, who were better off would tithe a thousand dollars a shot on Sunday morning. The telethons were rampant. An 800 number would come on the television screen, and the preacher, and his back up henchmen would coach the viewers to call in and give to the number the TV Screen. Credit Card usually only. While viewers would call in.. ...there was a break fom the 🐺Preacher Promptings, or demands to go get your wallet... SOOOOooooo UH OH!!! THE MULTI-TALENTED PREACHER WOULD CROON, SING...CROON.. SING.. A ROLLICKING UPBEAT CHRIST-CENTERED SONG WHILE U WORSHIPPED THE LORD!?!?!?!? OR.....HMMMMM WAS IT HIM!?!?!?!!!! OR DID HE WORSHIP THE LORD???? OR....THE 💵💵💵💵💵 WHICH WOULD SO RIGHTEOUSLY 💸💸💸💸💸💸FLY!!! My mom joined Creflo Dollars church in 1995 when I was 8yrs old. She's still a member to this day though we both love in Orlando. Never went to Bishop Eddie Long church but my mom almost put me in a summer program there when I was 12 but she said she had a bad feeling. I'm now 29 and don't believe in religion or go to church because it's just a scam to get money. My mother in law is a over zealous Christian who follows a pastor name Morris Cerullo. She follows that man around like a groupie but can't afford to pay for place to stay when she visits us lol.
