I was shocked and told him that if he would send the pants back to the company, they would repair it or replace it for no charge. He looked back at it, shrugged, and said, "It's all gonna burn." He was right. And he always knew there was something far greater and more wonderful than a fancy suit or a fine house at the end of the road. Still, God has been so good to us. He and Mom are now in their 80s, and while it's still hard living on fixed incomes sometimes, the church he served in still looks after us and I know they would do anything we really needed. These false prophets like the one above have received their reward. I hope they can say it was worth it come judgement day.
