We need an eye for an eye judicial system. Stab someone, you get stabbed in the same spot, throw someone in a microwave, you get thrown into a macrowave, leave someone to starve to death, you get left to starve to death. It wouldn't be a dictatorship, it would be a law, and if a judge and jury finds someone guilty of a gruesome act, the judge has the choice of sentencing them to "Article 69: An Eye for an Eye". How most cases work is that if someone is found guilty, a judge sentences them to some punishment, there usually isn't a law saying "if they did a, they get b punishment", the judges have guidelines as well as pass cases with similar situations. So if the article 69 was passed as law, probably at a state level at first, the judge could sentence them to that punishment, if they felt like the case fell into the guidelines of the article. As a democracy we could literally draft up this article, vote for it, and pass it ( I think anyways, I'm not sure if there is a humanitarian issue/law or not that would prevent it even if the majority of people in that state were in favor of it) Besides, the point is, a system like this is by no means limited to a dictatorship, its just that majority of people do not believe in this sort "justice" thus we do not see these "harsh" punishments out side of authoritarian governments.

That's the beauty of court. You have to actually PROVE someone is guilty. "Everybody knows" luckily doesn't count. Do I think she's innocent? No. Do I think she's legally guilty? Absolutely not. They had time, they could have waited until they could prove their case before taking it to trial.

After her seizure story fell apart; Ka Yang finally confessed to murdering her daughter Mirabel. Yang said that she was annoyed with Mirabel stopping her from working on the computer because she was irritable and fussy. People have started up a petition to have a retrial for Yang; claiming that she needs rehabilitation instead of incarceration. That's never going to happen because of the evidence; which consists of the police finding a pacifier in the microwave and the coroner discovering radiation in Mirabel's stomach.
And put the timer on and closed the door.

No, it didn't. Read the book her Attorney wrote. There's a LOT of suspicious sh*t in that case and most of it points to her innocence. For example, remember the car that "smelled like death" and started the case when Casey's parents picked it up from the tow lot after having not been in touch with Casey for a month. Her father showed up with a full can of gas, which was needed because the car was totally out. but how the h*ll did he know?

my aunt was a nurse who took care of this young boy who's mom abused him. he was then given over to his grandmother who starved him. she'd eat in front of him and he ate paint chips and cockroach to survive. he ended up dieing. 😭😭😭😭 when I heard this I thought wtf wrong with humanity

There are some people who truly lose their right to live! There just are. And back in the day, execution was swift and done with. No waiting 10 or 15 years in a place that has to see to your needs all day and everyday at someone else's expense.
Yeah but do you know how many people were executed and then later found to be innocent? It's a slippery slope. I feel like the world has forgotten about Nixmary Brown. The mother chose her new husband over her own daughter and Nixmary was eventually beaten to death in 2006 at the age of 7.

Given the age of the child, I wonder if she suffered from post partum. Im not trying to defend her. After my first baby, I had some very disturbing thoughts. I was scared to admit it to anyone from fear that they'd take my baby from me. Thank God, I never harmed her, but the thoughts were very real and very persistent. 😔

I’m a mother of two beautiful boys (2 years & 10 days old), I could never even daydream about harming them. I couldn’t imagine my babies suffering at mine or my husband’s hands. Children are a miracle of life, there will never be another person like your child ever again (DNA), how could you kill your baby? 😔😢

I am absolute shocked by some of these sentences, all deserved at least life without any chance of parole because every single one knew what they were doing and are an absolute threat for the rest of their lives.

I remember that Anthony trial going on like it was yesterday. That is a PERFECT example of knowing damn well she was responsible and should have been convicted, but just not having enough evidence to prove it. It was so infuriating.
The prosecution really sucked at presenting the case. I only watched the first half of the trial listening to the prosecution’s evidence and I already knew the outcome. All they proved was that Caylee was dead and Casey was a shitty mother, but they didn’t prove that she murdered her own daughter.
Exactly why they never should have charged her! Why wouldn't you wait until you KNOW you have the evidence? There's no SOL issue, so was it worth it to be so hasty to satisfy the masses?

WhippedCreamYT she stripped David of his name, first starting to call him “the boy” then transitioned to “it”, she would feed him his siblings leftovers, giving him anywhere from 30-60 seconds to eat it, then eventually starving him to the point where he was stealing other kids lunches just to eat. She would give him spoonfuls of ammonia once in a while when she was bored, locked him in the bathroom with a bucket of ammonia while he cleaned with the vents sealed off, she made him sleep in the garage on a military cot that belonged to his grandfather, she tried to make him lay on the lot stove, she tried to make him eat his baby brothers poop from his dirty diaper, then shoved it in his face when he didn’t comply. It was horrific. There was so much more in the book that it shakes you. I hold onto my children so tightly and could never understand why any mother would do such horrific things to their own flesh and blood.

Andrea Yates was horrible for murdering her 5 or 6 children but she was severely mentally ill & her husband forced her through religion to stop taking her medications, stop psychological care bc they warned them that having anymore kids would push her over the edge. Sure enough, it did & in her sick head she was saving them from Satan - it's tragic

Exactly. I honestly feel a lot of sympathy for her in that situation. Post-Partum Depression and Post-Partum Psychosis is really serious and scary and due to the people around her, mainly her husband who was also not right in the head and pushing for all that stuff you said, not taking it seriously tragedy happened.
Obviously being mentally ill doesn't excuse the act of murder, especially your own children, but it does means something that they weren't in the right state of mind for the longest time. It makes you think if it things would have been better if things were different.

Brianna Lopez suffered torture most of her life from her parents and her uncle until she died brutally when she was six months old. She was beaten, burned, raped and many other horrible things, all when she was a baby. To this day she is still suffering, for her stone cold parents put a cage around grave which prevents anyone to even touching her tombstone. The mother, Stephanie Lopez, is currently free from jail. She was even considered a good person by her cell mate.
In my opinion, the world failed on Brianna, even after her death.
There was a woman in Florida named Pauline Zile, whose boyfriend murdered her 7-year old daughter Christina, and she covered up the murder by saying the child was kidnapped at a local flea market. Her story was inconsistent and forensics found bloodstains on the carpet in their home. Both were convicted of their parts in the murder and sentenced to life in prison. This story happened around the same time as the Susan Smith case.
These mothers were rightfully ranked the way they were because they are truly the worst of the worst, especially the dishonorable mentions. Please make another list regarding this topic & include at least 4 or 5 dishonorable mentions. Then mash them up into a top 20 list including 4 or 5 dishonorable mentions. There are other mothers like the ones on this list, but it’s good to know that there are good moms, as well. I’m so grateful that I have a loving & caring mom to this day. Same thing with my dad.
