    When I visualized the whole world, within me, wrapped up in lovingkindness, you were there, too.

    May I be accepting of the accountability I take, the moments I’ve stood up for myself , the opportunities I’ve taken, the moments where I did not win but gain something ✨🙏

    I have struggled my whole life with self kindness. I am hoping to take the steps to learn to be kinder and accept that humans are gonna screw up and make mistakes and not be perfect...and I am human.

    Such an incredibly beautiful meditation! 💖 Thank you, Tara! I kept hearing, "May we know Lovingkindness as our home." Thank you, thank you!

    Dear Tara, I have been doing loving kindness meditations for a couple of weeks now, but none of them had been as powerful as this one. You have a gift to help others! Thank you very much! From 🇨🇴

    I've restarted this a few times and can't picture a smiling face without spinning out with guilt and shame. I hope to enjoy this sort of guided meditation someday.

      Yes mate, it's not at all for everyone, this meditation. Personally I don't think it's for people who really need self compassion! I also just felt really awful being asked to think of smiles and people who love me. It's just a tricky, difficult thing to think about for me.
      You might benefit from Compassionate mind therapy, I did a group using this as a focus.

    I fell asleep listening to this last night and had such lovely dreams. I've had a lot of issues with nightmares, so it was a big relief to wake up feeling at peace

    This was just what I needed. I had a tension and heaviness in my heart. This helped me be aware of it and release it. My energy was flowing again at the end, and it helped me have a really successful day. I can't thank you enough Tara. You have an amazing encouraging vibe. The world needs more beautiful generous souls like you.

    Have just been introduced to you , Tara , and I love this meditation , which seems to always make me cry and that feels liberating if I might just add , as an objective criticism, in the non judgemental sense ! , That I wished there had been a longer pause after the first of the triple affirmations concerning loving kindness …As I like saying things out loud! No worries I now remember it all by heart !
    thank you thank you thank you

    Loving kindness for You,
    In your private time, in that which you do which harms no one else,
    Do not judge, let your natural self
    Be the beautiful truth it is through self-acceptance and self compassion.
    The self should not be enemy of the self, the self benefits the self, and when the self is rooted in self it sees deeper into self, realizing eventually even that self and other are actually truly just self, this is only possible once one is fully rooted in oneself to know, therefore truly compassion for the self is the easiest way to develop sincere compassion for others as well. Thankful for the paradoxical and kind spiritual laws that govern existence/nonexistence.

    When you offer the prayer to yourself is it better to use may “May I” as opposed to “I am”? For example, “May I be happy” or “I am happy”

    Struggling with this at times. Thinking...even if I imagine holding everyone and everything in loving-kindness in my minds eyes
    There's still... unspeakable horrors happening which I can't do anything about. So why am I bothering to include everyone and everything when clearly, me doing this meditation doesn't effect ...for example, somebody living in a war torn, authoritarian regime, or someone in prison, or someone being tortured.

    This is beautiful work... I love it. But is there anyone else who has an issue with the "may I" frases...
    It always seems to put those elements in to future.. Kind of.. "I'm not yet.. May I one day" and that irks me to the bone. I am loving, I am kind... That is the truth.

    • @newleft2254
      @newleft2254 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Michael Haus It irks you because you’re too invested in attachment. Just be and hope for the best.

    • @Angie-fe8yd
      @Angie-fe8yd 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are kind,compassionate,happy Etc then you are blessed... it shouldn't irk you...be grateful.Just accept it is a phrase.Alot of us wish to be...kind,happy Etc. Yes ...I am...is a very good way to phrase it. But she has phrased it so...for it to irk you it is just the self grasping mind doing so 🙂🙏🏻
