I think this is the first time I'm considering buying a Chase Bliss-style pedal. The blooper seems like a pretty fun recording toy to get some really interesting unique sounds. Also thank you Knobs for being literally the best pedal channel.
This thing can’t come out fast enough. I just hope Chase Bliss makes enough so that there aren’t shortages on launch day. Can’t wait to pair this with my Mood.

For this one - I want to believe - just like the x-files poster. They added buttons , they left a usb port open.... the cost of this pedal will invariably be higher than the $350 cb ones on these factors alone. I forgive all other cb pedals for being mono, but this one being a high end looper hitting $450 ish really needs stereo trs.. I see branching into the synth community becoming a priority, and in this respect the stereo debate will dictate more sales within that market. As I say I forgive this on all the cb pedals thus far but this one in mono would really miss the mark. Even if the price hit $500 it would sell, - ohh, add a line lvl switch inside or through a usb program change software deallyo.
@@kylewall8521 there is a midi via trs jack on the blooper. Midi on most cb pedals.. I guess the debate is whether or not they will leave the usb jack on the final product, it may only be there for finalizing the firmware. Then it will be sold without a usb port? Not sure. It adds value to keep however, dump loops into your computer, copy loops from computer, update firmware, change ranges for parameters etc etc etc. This however adds an element of support and further software developing for computers and mobile devices etc , this gets expensive. So my guess is usb wont be on final pedal.
In other clips it's looking like a way for them to update firmware as they develop it. No clue if it will have a future use, but it's definitely for dev purposes ATM
Ok one immediate question springs to mind: when recording in a modifier, if you don't want to keep overdubbing over and over, is there a clever way to see when you're back to the start of the loop? My Boomerang LED blinks briefly when the loop starts again (and indeed this is pretty common among loopers). How do you indicate you're "back to the top" in this? (Of course a tape machine has no such indicator, but it'd be nice here...)
@5:55 u can see you change the stability parameter and there were some clicking, just checking it will be possible to modulate this parameter without this effect?
I would say kinda yes and kinda no. Infinite jets drones a sound or stagers the sound over a specific amount of time. You can't really loop then modify like MOOD. Id say the Infinite Jets has a similar idea, but just lacks the ability to modify on the fly with the existing loop.

Just test the crap out of MIDI before it gets released please! Put it through insane tests where you ramp it's parameters using MIDI just to make sure it can hang

What will the max loop length be on Blooper?
We are *approaching* a final number on that. It's looking like upwards of 40 seconds.

Which would mean 80sec at half speed? Is it possible to overdub and keep the 80seconds? (Kinda like my trusty old DMM with Hazarai)
This is great news! 30 seconds was definitely not enough for my usage. But 40 seconds..... absolute minimum but I could live with it! :)
