Brandon Bernhard thank you! I was informed of this by Joel after I had already uploaded this video- was going off of the manual which read “hold” and I took it literally because as it turns out, you can hold it the length of your playing and it also works ha.
Are you going into the blooper with your clean guitar signal, or do you have other effects/reverbs/modulations going on outside of the blooper? I wonder if all those nice sounds can come out of this little pedal alone
It does cut off the end. The loop becomes longer if you slow it down and no longer fits in the initial loop length you created. Chase bliss explain this in their manual and their TH-cam demos.

I have a gear list in the description for other pedals used- if I remember correctly I was mostly using the Strymon Big Sky for my verb in this!

No, in order to actually use the modifiers you need to engage the pedal, which coincidentally here that means you essentially create a loop.
