Tell you what - this has been a weird project. It’s been weird. Many, many highs and lows, and a feeling we’ve all been living with (I think) that it might have been a bit too ambitious.
So, in this final episode of Blooper Reel, that’s what we’ll explore.
Doubts, final features, and a friendly little wrap up in the city of Duluth.

Congrats, and best of luck getting it out there... I enjoyed watching it progress. I'd like to see more like this series.
This was so cool to see. I am really looking forward to your eventual tutorial video on this. This pedal will certainly be on my list for early 2020. As I have said in other "Blooper" videos. This would make an amazing jumping-off point for a mini Experimental board.
At some point, I hope to own one of these because it sounds awesome and there's a multitude of amazing things it can do.

I got a blooper a couple of days back and it's hands down the most inspiring piece of music things I own, by far! It was fun watching this video series to see how it was developped. Thanks to all involved for making blooper. I love you guys (but not as much as I love blooper)!
Hell @Knobs i dont know if this is the pedal you wanted in the end, but for sure all of you have made a pedal we all are dreaming to take and make music and sounds asap. It is a long way for my pedal to arrive where i live, so I will pay atention to all of you about first impressions and sounds. Thank all of you for crafting this crazy pedal, mission acomplished, i guess.

Please forgive me, I’m late to the Blooper train - I have a question about Blooper, just for my own understanding: For years I have longed for a Sonic Crayon Anti Nautilus and the only thing that’s come close is the CT5...until now. It appears as though Blooper can do what both of those pedals do, plus a whole lot more - is that a fair assessment?

Please, correct me, if I'm wrong, to me this seems like a crossover between Zoia and...say Norns..or Tasty Chips GR-1,...but with real-time faders...Yeah, I realize, I'm wrong already...:) Anyway, Knobs, you're great, took several Ks from my wallet just by watching your videos through the years...Cheers.

the only drawback is it's a pedal but you need to use your hands more than your feet.
Casey Taylor That’s a big problem with pedals like this. Knobcentric pedals demand to get off the floor!! Come on designers. Bending over to play the knobs is just lame. So is sitting on the floor all the time. Put the knobs on a custom console pedalboard and the switches on the floor.
Midi solves a lot of this.

@@soarornor No way. Presets and MIDI galore. Have a look at the Chase Bliss Faves pedal too. And MIDI pedals like the Morningstar MC6 make it easy to step into. Between either, you have a WORLD of sounds to harness without bending over to turn the knobs.
@@soarornor It's probably too late now, but it would be great if it had a couple of inputs for expression pedals that would be assignable to a couple of parameters. So you make your patch, and then fiddle with it during the play.

I'm late to the party here. I'm excited to see this thing in person. But...as I'm admittedly late and only recently discovered knobs...are you a duluthian or was that just random craziness? I was born and raised in Duluth
I could be wrong on all this, but as far as I know, Chase Bliss Audio are based in Duluth, but Knobs himself is Canadian (from, or at least living in, Toronto, I believe?)
@@Jim_Thomas_Draper looks like headquartered in anoka which is about 2 hours from duluth. I just moved away about 2.5 years ago and had honestly never remembered any local buzz. Seems like a great company

Don't be so hard on yourself, it wasn't boring. I probably wont have the $$ and am not prone to using loopers (daydream about it though), but I still found this series entertaining. I appreciate what your channel does and what Joel's company does. It was interesting to see a project like this come together.

Hello Good People!, I am a kickstarter & very much look forward to receiving Blooper. At about the 4 minute part of this video the gentleman says he is trying to keep it in time & musical. I speak for myself & many other noisicians, non-guitarists, sound artists, etc. when I say ; PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT MAKE IT KEEP GOOD TIME OR SOUND AT ALL MUSICAL. WE BUY YOUR GEAR BECAUSE WE WANT INDEPTH SOUND MUTILATION. The only bad part of the Dark World (& the Red Panda Tensor) is when sweeping a knob I get a perfect 3rd or 5th. There are about 56 guitarists who buy your pedals that want 'in time musicality'. The rest of us want insane nightmarish unearthly hardly imaginable sonic hear lu sa nations. Maybe make a 'fucked up noise version'? Thank you all & keep on doing great work!
