The "Transfer money" at the bottom is blur, it does not allow you to click to continue. Unlike when you transfer ringgit to ringgit? How to you get it done successfully? Please guide me. Hi there! No fee incurred to deposit money into CIMB SG, but using Wise will incur small conversion fee (or if you use CIMB MY to CIMB SG, you will lose in terms of currency conversion spread).
      For your 2nd question, it will stay there but you will be able to see it from your CIMB MY account. I think you can't use the money until your account is activated, but no worries, should your application gets rejected, you will be refunded Free of Charge!!

I have already done the transfer through Wise to my SG account by following your steps, and when I move on to performing e-KYC transfer, I couldn't find my SG account in my cimb clicks MY and I also couldn't find the SG icon beside the account overview.
    So, my question is, will the opening of my SG account be successful without performing e-KYC transfer and what will happen if the transaction is failed as I couldn't check the balance in my SG account.

    • @ZietInvests
      @ZietInvests  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey jonathan, no question is stupid, we're all here to learn!
      If you've done the transfer but can't perform the e-KYC or see your SG account on CIMB Clicks MY, it's possible there's a delay in the process.
      Opening an account usually requires the e-KYC to be completed. If the transfer has failed or the account opening isn't successful, the funds should be returned to your original account.
      Maybe to be sure, you can contact CIMB's customer service to confirm the status of your account opening and transaction. They can provide specific guidance on your situation. Hope this helps and your account gets sorted out soon!

    Hi Ziet...have been having issues with my CIMB SG account recently... When I try to login my account (apps / website), it'll prompt for SMS OTP... But I never did receive any even after resend SMS again & again... Never did encountered issues with it previously... I did email them, but no reply... Call the service centre but either all staff is occupied or can't even connect the line occasionally... May I know whether you ever experienced such issues before... Till now not able to access my SG account, but at least I manage to login to CIMB MY account & can see the SGD still there😅

      Hi Alex - that could be because they recently updated their CIMB SG Mobile app - you will need to call them until you get through (unfortunately) to get the SMS OTP reissued because SG number apparently has some problem reaching Malaysian phone numbers. I did mine (called around 20-30 minutes) and got it resolved!

      Hi ee! I'd suggest you to give them a call first. They should able to advice you better on that.
