I think I’d own a RAM over the other makes, simply because I love their design and brand. It wouldn’t bother me that it’s an inline-6 engine at all. It still sounds great and it’s really smooth too.

I have never seen a twin turbocharged engine for the ram 1500 pickup truck. I mean, the engine looks amazing! It's a 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged inline-6 cylinder. Compared to Ford's F-150 3.5 twin-turbocharged ecoboost v6 engine. The all new 2025 ram 1500 limited looks so amazing of the truck!
My grandfather has a hemi and I feel like the hurricane is better. I have no clue how the reliability is but the power and smoothness is so much more refined then the Hemi.
All the same ones that claim to want a "V8 Truck without all the bells and whistles!" and then proceeded to never buy the 1500 Classic while it was around.
@@toelife2112 Its the only truck who did the roughest hill climbing on the top test with a 10500 pounds load on the TFL channel even if it kind of overheat ish at the end all the competition weren't able to make it middle of the hill cuz they overheated !

Bought a Ford F250 from 1979 free months ago. Money saving, fixable with a paperclip and a piece of duct tape. Instead of expensive sensors, computers and every mechanic loves to work on it. Gets 'er done every time!
I agree. Too much technology doesn't mean it is the greatest. Too much can lead to more problems. I sometimes wonder if the car manufacturers are experimenting with which technology works better. At the same time, the consumers are paying the price, e.g., RECALLS and PROBLEMS - leading back to the dealership for repairs until they get it right. In some cases, staying longer in the dealership for months and still making monthly payments. UNBELIEVABLE!!
ALL of the FIVE MAJOR brands of full-size truck (Ford, GMC, Chevy, Toyota) are getting SOOOOOO GOOD that it is DIFFICULT to choose based just on towing/carrying capacity and base driving feature set alone. You now have to take into account interior comfort and your ability to get the BEST FINANCE RATE possible! The truck that gives you the BEST monthly payment and the MOST interior comfort for your desired towing and carrying capacity is the truck YOU should buy! I actually like this truck very very well as a daily! Would I buy it? Unfortunately, since I do tow MORE THAN 30,000 lbs (i.e. CDL needed!), I have to go with the Ford F450 Superduty Limited with onboard ProPower package (2000 Watts) and the onboard weigh-scale. With the Tow Package, the F450 is going to be pulling around 32,000 LBS since I will be building/welding myself a multi-bedroom custom luxury toy hauler 5th Wheel trailer and a new custom rough-water fishing boat out of 7075-T6 Aluminum that fits on the back of the trailer along with the Can-Am Defender. A 1500/F150 Series truck just won't cut it! Gotta go with the heavy duty BIG DIESEL option! V
Hopefully not like Ford. Record breaking recalls of all the manufactures. So just a couple recalls aren’t that bad compared to other manufactures. Ram #1 😊
Beautiful truck, but I so much miss the Hemi in it. People who think a 6-cylinder turbo can replace a NA V8 just like that don't understand engines well.
We all know there's 3 different gas nozzles in all gas stations. Yellow nozzle is for e85 ethanol, green nozzle is for diesel fuel, and the black nozzle is for normal gasoline, and it is used for regular unleaded, mid-grade, and premium unleaded fuel.
Not interested in a I6. I would only be interested in a V8. I would go buy a used truck first, with a big beefy gas guzzling V8. That thing sounds like a V6 too, not good. Not a good sign from Ram at all.
@@alpzepta oh I understand now. so you’re saying the Ram TRX with the hellcat is a good deal but none of the other trucks in the lineup are because they need the hellcat to be considered worth the money.
Pfff the 4.9 seconds 0-60 base turbo version is not sharing your point of view and i don't even speak about the ease of maintenance there is no gimmick 650 dollars spark plug job on this one !

@@2H2521 We haven't had any specific or major engine issues with our 3.5 ecoboost F150s as far as the engines go. The transmissions on the other hand...but thats an issue no matter what engine you go with. Ford just makes junk. The 6R80s were trash and the 10R80s even more so.
@@bigsmith7349 They have not figured it out by any means, I’m worried about any new vehicle from any American manufacturer except a Mustang GT & F-150 only as long as it has the 5.0. I think that’s the best truck on the market but only as long as it has that engine.
I just can’t get behind that engine at all. I have a ram with the Hemi and my thing has always been that if you need turbos then you don’t have enough cylinders. I just don’t see this sewing machine lasting past the warranty and being a good engine overall.
So turbo diesels in trucks and semi's shouldn't exist and should just have more cylinders instead? Hellcat Challengers, Chargers, Durango's, and Jeeps shouldn't exist and should just have more cylinders? Such an odd take.

@@ducktails1695 The Hellcats have superchargers, not turbos. Diesel is slow af without a turbo, but gas isn't with a decent V8 or V10.
