random question, do you ever pick up on or unconsciously start mimicking her tics? My brother had tourettes growing up (he's mostly grown out of it as an adult) but growing up, I was diagnosed with pretty severe ADHD as a kid, and as an adult I was diagnosed with comorbid Autism, but my brother had a LOT of vocal tics when we were kids and his most common was clearing his throat. I would get yelled at a lot by my parents for "copying" his tics but it was like, once I heard him do it the third time in a row, I involuntarily started clearing my throat too and COULDN'T stop. I tried to explain to my parents that I wasn't doing it for attention but I think it always came across as them perceiving me as copying bad behaviour to receive equal attention from them. I've never met any other sibling pairs who had an ADHD/TS combo in the family and I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem with "compulsive assimilation" to other ND kids' actions.
I love seeing you dealing whit tics and how you handle it, I think people need to see that people whit tics is also normal people. And we need to treat everyone equally❤❤
I don't have Tourette's but I've had tics since I was 5 (over 10 years). My anxiety makes me suppress my tics whenever I'm in a public place (and they end up being much more severe later). Ty for this video! 😀 It helped me to re-enforce the knowledge that others struggle with tics and that it's not just me. 😊😊
@@cookiequeen5430 So the Google answer was this: "Tics are defined as sudden, rapid, recurrent, nonrhythmic motor movements or vocalization, generally preceded by urge. Tourette's syndrome is defined as the presence of both motor and phonic tics for more than 1 year in patients with onset less than 18 years old." TL;DR - tics are involuntary movements, while Tourette's is a syndrome (and tics are a symptom). I've had bad tics since I was 5 (for example, harshly jerking my head forward, flaring my nose, raising my eyebrows as high as they can go, etc.), but have never been diagnosed with Tourette's. I don't know for sure if I have it or not, but right now I'm going with not. I just say I have really bad tics. Hopefully this helped! 😁If you have any more questions, I can try and answer them for you!
Your willingness to share your condition with others in order to educate and advocate for acceptance and understanding for those with neurodivergent conditions is laudable. It isn't for entertainment purposes. I and many others understand and appreciate what you are doing. Thank you.
This is very interesting. Most tics are usually a few repetitive things at a time that a person subconsciously gets fixated on, the tics you are showing are completely different things at random, not a consistent repetitive fixation as expressed with most common tics.
I don't think that's true. This is how most tics I've seen (and the ones I have) normally are. You can still see the general pattern and the common tics here, they're just not in a specific pattern /lh
Figuring out you have ticks must have been scary as any loss of control is, its testament to how strong you are for being so open with it ❤️ all the support i can send 😊
People love to stereotype tics, and I’m so glad you represent it so openly and honestly. Every experience is different for everyone ❤️ love your sense of humour, you’re such a cool person
Just like the person who sat next to you started giggling at the end, I would have started a while ago just from the reactions when you hit the wall, or hit the person next to you. You’re wonderful! And you made me smile and laugh.
I have tics and watching ur vids abt you having tourettes makes me feel better, the part I hate the most is quiet class rooms and that ppl will sometimes look at me bc of a tic, but thanks for they vids they help alot 🙂 ☺️
I've seen fakers at this yet the way she acts when not having a tic shows she clearly isn't faking, it's important for people who don't have see what they go through. Thank you for sharing with us
I am so happy for this. I hate watching it not because of you but because it triggers things but it is educational and helps me to find ways to cope and suppress them. But also they aren’t always super loud they can be different volumes if it is quiet my tics will most likely be quieter a few aren’t quiet though. But I think a lot of people need to watch this to understand how they work or other things.
I’m glad people share this type of stuff on the internet because my brother has Tourette’s syndrome and it’s really helpful for people to know what it is. He gets dirty looks and rude comments so I hope this spreads awareness.
When i told my German teacher i had a tic disorder she called my mom to ask what to do if i insulted her in class 😭😭 So i took time to explain to her i don't have coprolalia and it's mostly abrupt movements that harm myself and people near me She didn't really understand but she was okay with it as long as i didn't insult her I can't even imagine how bad it would be with coprolalia
I have coprolalia and I’ve cussed out my teachers before. They are very understanding and help me through it. Its very difficult though, especially in public spaces.
I honestly love this video it shows how people in your class act like nothing is even happening I love that I don’t have Tourette’s but if I did I would probably appreciate if people treated me the same instead of treating me like a child so I’m glad no one talked down to u and we’re just normal with u cuz u are normal keep going ur beautiful and amazing x
The poor classmates, many people struggle tremendously with sudden noises, sensory overload, staying concentrated/being attentive, often either due to being neurodivergent, (C)PTSD or traumatised, anxiety etc, yet it's "ableist" to admit that verbal or otherwise loud tics are disruptive, scary etc.
Her class clearly doesn’t mind, and if you have every watched her videos, you would know they are perfectly fine with having a student with Tourette Syndrome in their class. Also, nobody said its ableist to admit those things, you’re just another person speaking of things you hardly know about in an attempt to “be different.”
@@Therian_Paws_ Do you actually think anyone would admit to being bothered, knowing fully well that their classmate is documenting everything and thus would share this information with the whole internet? You've also clearly never have had a classmate whose neurodivergency included very obvious/externally visibly symptoms and it shows.
@@emxilyk Actually, I am the classmate who displays very visible symptoms. My friend has been recently diagnosed with turrets the tics that she has she finds really funny but has 2 painful ones one is smacking her hand against the table so when we sit together I put my hand between hers and the table so it doesn’t get hurt
My son had a tic disorder for about 6-7 months as part of his PANDAS flare-up. He was in kindergarten. I remember a few teachers I work with thinking he was faking it . . . at 6! I explained that I was terrified he'd choke because his verbal tics would happen even when he was trying to swallow. He also couldn't pick anything up until he'd done some fluttering with his hands. He developed OCD and also needed to use the bathroom every 20 minutes. It went on all day, every day. Once he got diagnosed with PANDAS and put on antibiotics, all his symptoms completely disappeared within 48 hours. I got a doctor who understood PANDAS and knows to put him on antibiotics the second they start up again, and 9 years later he hasn't had another large episode like that. I really feel for you going through this long-haul. I hope someday they find a cure for Tourette's. Thank you for educating us all with your videos.
mine do too! but i can (i think zara was doing this too) quieten my tics so they arent as loud but then it makes them more frequent but they get worse during quiet rooms because it makes you anxious!!
I find tics fascinating in a way. It’s just the way that people deal with them and the different types of them. Having 2 people in my family (who you remind me of) having tics has made me understand more about them and how to not trigger them to make them worse. This was kind of cool to see 😀
Bless that person sitting next to you; you've hit them a few times & they have not taken it personally in anyway; instead they let you know i sounded worse than it felt; to try not let you feel too bad about it; ohhhhh bless that persons soul, the world needs thousands more of that kind ❤❤

I’m really impressed to see how it seems to be constant, it’s also probably bc it’s a video but your tics just never stop… can you concentrate and are you able to listen to the teacher ?
1st of all, I find it very brave of you to show us how you try to cope with your tics. It seems so tiresome to be having them all day. I was wondering how difficult it is for you to concentrate in class or doing your homework. Does it interfere your concentration when you try to focus on something like listening when someone is explaining something or you trying to focus or trying to do something. And if it does, does it take more time for you to get something done, like studying or making homework. Proud of you. Have a wonderful weekend. Greeting from the Netherlands. Hugs

Your friend seems really kind! It's really a God gift finding people that undestands you and don't make you feel worse!
It's so nice that you're spreading awareness :]
thank you!!! my tics get so terrible in school, especially they get worse when I have anxiety. usually I bang on the tables repeatedly, at it scares people. thank you for showing this video to the internet! I'll use the tips for my advantage! :)
I have Tourette’s and its so much easier when people act like it never happened it saves the embarrassment too 😭
wow, it seems like you're constantly going 😮 must be really tough, but it's great to see how aware your teachers and classmates are and literally don't give a f*** 😊
I couldn’t help but giggle a bit when your tics said ‘I have Covid 19.’ It eased my mind a little when I realised you and your friend next to you giggled too 😅
i get adhd tics and my friend has Tourettes and i feel bad for her especially since the teachers yell at her and sometimes me aswell for rocking in my chair but shes very nice and we end up just laughing it off and its interesting to see what tics are like in a quite environment and im willing to learn more and educate myself
random question, do you ever pick up on or unconsciously start mimicking her tics?
I have adhd and did not know there was adhd tics I searched it up and realized I do have adhd tics
Wait i have adhd whats an adhd tic?
aww she seems so sweet, when she meowed it melted my heart ❤
i love that your friend is so supportive 🥰
The “ayy I got covid now” it was kinda funny 😆
I love seeing you dealing whit tics and how you handle it, I think people need to see that people whit tics is also normal people. And we need to treat everyone equally❤❤
I love how you said “ My tics have found out I’m sat next to a wall” and “Uh oh I’m stuck “ I love u videos
Hey, I don't know a lot about tics. What's the difference between having tourettes and "just" having tics?
@@cookiequeen5430 So the Google answer was this: "Tics are defined as sudden, rapid, recurrent, nonrhythmic motor movements or vocalization, generally preceded by urge. Tourette's syndrome is defined as the presence of both motor and phonic tics for more than 1 year in patients with onset less than 18 years old."
TL;DR - tics are involuntary movements, while Tourette's is a syndrome (and tics are a symptom).
😁If you have any more questions, I can try and answer them for you!
sending prayers to all who live with these conditions!! stay strong fighters!!
Your willingness to share your condition with others in order to educate and advocate for acceptance and understanding for those with neurodivergent conditions is laudable. It isn't for entertainment purposes. I and many others understand and appreciate what you are doing. Thank you.
‘Ive got covid’ bless your heart. You are adorable. I hope your studying is going well.
You're so brave for sharing this. I feel so much compassion. I have ocd/intrusive thoughts. Your meows are cute 🙂.
One thing im interested in is seeing how you edit! It’s already hard enough to edit without tics but with them i think would be even harder!
@@coraz6825 yeah I agree, she shows some same tics again but just not in a order pattern; she hits, meow, says f off
I loved how the girl next to you was so supportive ❤
Figuring out you have ticks must have been scary as any loss of control is, its testament to how strong you are for being so open with it ❤️ all the support i can send 😊
The person sat next to you is an angel to not be fazed after your tics hit her is just the best thing I've seen
And you made me smile and laugh.
have you ever yelled at ur teacher? whats a new teachers reaction when u flip them off or curse at them
I have tics and watching ur vids abt you having tourettes makes me feel better, the part I hate the most is quiet class rooms and that ppl will sometimes look at me bc of a tic, but thanks for they vids they help alot 🙂 ☺️
The occasional “meow” tic is what gets me! 😆😂❤🎉❤❤❤
I've seen fakers at this yet the way she acts when not having a tic shows she clearly isn't faking, it's important for people who don't have see what they go through. Thank you for sharing with us
thank you for making this video.this really helped me understand what tics were.you are such a strong person
Good job for the person sitting next to you for being a good sport 👍
3:53 "f*** covid" sorry but thats funny asf-
"Ay I got covid now" the way both you and your friend laughed was adorable, true friends right there. (4:08)
you two are amazing!!
I don’t deal with this but..I have huge appreciation for people that have tics
Did she seriously just say "ey! I've got covid now" !!!!😂😂😂😂
4:07!!!!😂😂😂😂
Not her cutely flipping off the wall😂no I’m not making fun of you and your very pretty❤️
I’m glad people share this type of stuff on the internet because my brother has Tourette’s syndrome and it’s really helpful for people to know what it is. He gets dirty looks and rude comments so I hope this spreads awareness.
man ngl if someone meowed in class when it was dead silent that would literally make my day 10x better
I love the random whistles and "meows"
When i told my German teacher i had a tic disorder she called my mom to ask what to do if i insulted her in class 😭😭
So i took time to explain to her i don't have coprolalia and it's mostly abrupt movements that harm myself and people near me
She didn't really understand but she was okay with it as long as i didn't insult her
I can't even imagine how bad it would be with coprolalia
@@dantessa true
gl with coprolalia
People with Tourette’s understand that it bother, and those people are not afraid to speak about it because there is nothing wrong about getting stressed out. Maybe shut up and actually learn something, quit babbling on about nonsense.
You’re thinking of the classmate but not how she is. She struggles and can not control her tics so it’s not her fault
Thank you so much for making these videos to create awareness xx
can i just say that i luv ur glassez and ur accessoriez r so pretty, i just luv ur whole style
I’m happy you always say sorry for what you do!❤
I was rolling on the floor when you said “you can’t teach, F off” in such a calm manner 😂
My friend has been recently diagnosed with turrets the tics that she has she finds really funny but has 2 painful ones one is smacking her hand against the table so when we sit together I put my hand between hers and the table so it doesn’t get hurt
You go girl! You got this. Stay strong.💕
She is so pretty like omg !
The girl sitting next to you is such a champ shout of to her 🎉
your tics are cute, i understand that they are a real issue but you and your tics are cute
I just wanna hug you 🥰 I love how supportive your friends are ❤
My tics get worse when it’s quiet 😭😭 I could never
mine do too! but i can (i think zara was doing this too) quieten my tics so they arent as loud but then it makes them more frequent but they get worse during quiet rooms because it makes you anxious!!
@@xenatwizell6669 yup!
mine go crazy after classes like this (if i don’t leave early and let them out before that lol!)
@@Zara_Beth haha same I love ur channel btw 💕
@@xenatwizell6669 yea ha
Not her tics giving us the middle finger 😂
I find tics fascinating in a way. It’s just the way that people deal with them and the different types of them. Having 2 people in my family (who you remind me of) having tics has made me understand more about them and how to not trigger them to make them worse. This was kind of cool to see 😀
Thanks for showing this , this was so brave of u!
I know it’s not funny, but the part where she flips off the wall🤣✨✨
Bless that person sitting next to you; you've hit them a few times & they have not taken it personally in anyway; instead they let you know i sounded worse than it felt; to try not let you feel too bad about it; ohhhhh bless that persons soul, the world needs thousands more of that kind ❤❤
"U can't teach, fuck off" got me :D
I love how she said "Oh no! My tics have figured out I am sitting next to a wall"
I love how the girl next to you is so understanding ❤️❤️
the little meow tic is so cute🥺 but i’m so sorry you have to deal with this, you’re a lovely soul
Omg Ms Fallon. What a legend
genuinely
Stop flipping off the wall girl!😂
Do you have any tips on going back to school with Tourette's/tics?
yes! I'll do a video really soon
I once had a bad tic attack when I got back from my friends wedding. It caused my mouth to open and close and is was extremely overwhelming to the point that it made me cry. This video helps a lot with confidence in a way, thank you for posting it.
I love how the rock on sign is one of your tics that’s amazing no offense
Your earings are so cute!
Do tics get more quiet if you talk in a very quiet voice??
I have twitching tics and it makes me feel better knowing there are other ppl like me ppl are so rude when it comes to ppl having tics and this just makes me feel better knowing I’m not alone. Oh and my tics have been getting better the doctor said they might be gone at age 14 or just really better.
I’m really impressed to see how it seems to be constant, it’s also probably bc it’s a video but your tics just never stop… can you concentrate and are you able to listen to the teacher ?
I love her so much but I've never Commented on one of her videos saying how much I love her And I pray for you that your ticks get better
"She's got covid"
*touches arm*
"Hey I got covid now" FUNNIEST PART OF THIS VIDEO
I love your videos! Thank you for helping everyone who's watching understand what you and others may be going through : )
1st of all, I find it very brave of you to show us how you try to cope with your tics. Hugs
That girl next to you is soo sweet any other person would be yelling at you. Well besides me!
Amazing😯🙃💜
Hi this is actually the very first time I got to know about Tourette syndrome, thanks so much for sharing this video!
