Do not forget alot of these bolt ons apply way more serious gains once you add power adders, went from 427 rhp 397tq yo 484 rhp 430tq with long tubes and cams
Yea I know, they all work together to help extract as much hp as you can. I waited to put on my long tubes, x pipe, and tune on all at once to try and work with that. At the time I didn’t have plans for any more serious power adders
I think the $2000 mark discourages some people, but the parts could 100% be had for cheaper. Full exhaust, headers and CAI could be had for under $1000 if you’re good with sourcing parts or just buy used but like new. Great vid.
Thank you! Also great choice in sports team! Some of the parts, like exhaust, are pretty generic from brand to brand and you can save money there. I’m very happy I spent the money tho because it really wakes up the car.
I think doing mods to a more modern car would give people a greater appreciation of their 05-09 Mustang. Affordable aftermarket support and compared to modern muscle cars it is fairly cheap in comparison to make power in the 500-600 horsepower range. My wife owns a Toyota Highlander and it recently cost us a $1,000 just to get a side mirror replaced. Modern cars are absolutely insane! The fact that so many things have to be calibrated in newer cars makes it even worse.
Hey I have a 2008 gt mustang and it seems like it’s don’t pick up as quick from 30 to 40 , every other gear is fine I was wondering if that’s common ... thank you great videos
Thanks so much for the kind words! Keep in mind this is full bolt on with a tune, that is where I noticed most of the gain when I put all the aftermarket parts on!
@@CaylebPletos i really miss my 2005 gt with a performance tune , CAI , exhaust and magna flow, is fast too, i will try buy another gt but 2014 might be or 2015...

Hey man you still have this car? I’ve heard these auto transmissions having problems after 100k for some people. How has yours held up and how many miles does it have if you don’t mind me asking?
I purchased mine with about 30k miles and sold it with 67k. Personally I never had any issues with the auto trans. However, I think its pretty rare to find some much over 100k
@@bwilliams3904 to be completely honest, I don't see many with that high of milage still out there. I would usually recommend sticking with lower milage if you can. However, like every vehicle, it all depends no how well it was taken car of. For example, I have a Ford Focus with 200k miles on it that still runs great!

I’m might be buying a ford mustang 2005 convertible, but I do have offer of getting a supercharged one but the supercharged one isn’t a convertible, what do I do , I want the extra power but I want the convertible,, the convertible does have mods like 20inch brand new tyres , upgraded suspension and new springs which have been adjusted lowering car by an inch , and upgraded air in take
You will probably get a better “speed per dollar” deal on the supercharged one and it sounds like the convertible is a better cruiser. Depends on how much you care about the speed

THAT 0 TO 60 IS VERY GOOD FOR THAT MODEL AND THE 🐎 HORSE POWER AS WELL IS 🔥🔥🔥

Convertibles were heavier but still managed around 5.5 to 5.8 stock

Don't forget that elevation makes a huge difference. So times differ on were you live
This was at about 600ft above sea level and yes your correct the air at higher elevation makes a big difference
We use to calls it dragging not "tests"
Could have done gears and a muffler delete for like half the money and got the same result
that's great, and if your mustang were coupé it going more faster because convertible cars are more heavier.
Yes sir !

Yes that lag is normal, you can tune it to make it much better tho!

Disregard wheelspin and compare a 20-80 or 20-100 on yours vs stock to see if it pulls much harder on a roll
that sounds like a good idea, this must help to eliminate error due to environment
I got 4.9 with my manual gt coupe with a tuneless intake
That’s pretty good what year?
Post a vid
Lose the BAMA tune and get a Lito tune and get steeda underdrive pulleys.
4000 stall and a holey intake.. more aggressive tune
They use rollout.. add .2 seconds
What video editing software do you use
Just IMovie, it’s free on Apple
Cayleb Pletos ahh gotcha thanks for the response! Love the car and the 4.9 was impressive for the 3v engine! Good content man you got my Sub!
Is it possible to drive the mustang automatic 2005 to 2009 also "Manuel"? Like 2014 models?
I'll see if I can get my hands on a manual one for a video!
No the auto does not have paddle shifters
Hey what tune do you have bro??
I have a Bama "Drag" tune on the car, I actually made a video where I tuned the car if that interests you I talk all about it!
I would rather spend my 4.BS seconds burning the rubber off the tires with a standard transmission.
I do that in the vette sometimes
Gotta get a "Dragy"
what is that?
Cayleb Pletos Look it up on Amazon
Thank you I’ll look into it
What app did you use?
If I remember correctly it was called “fast-r”
How tall are u?
5’10”
Get 4.10 gears.

For some people speed isn’t a number 1 priority and that’s ok, all personal preference
