    Before you added your delete plates did you ever notice a little like stutter around 3k when the plates were opening up all the way? I have a manual and it's pretty wild but before I did the delete plates there was like a step you could feel in the rpms around 3k. My tuner uses hp tuners and a dyno. It actually gained 11hp and 14lbs through the whole pull. So for anyone that says you lose power needs a good tuner. Lito is good if you have the bama tuner like yours. Breenspeed had a video that said you didn't need them unless you were forced induction, but now he has a video that says they're a good bolt on for power lol kinda contradicts himself after a couple year's of videos lol

      Yes bro mine does that right now I’ve been wondering that and I have a afr gauge, when that little like throttle cut hits I see my afr jump and then it comes back. I feel it more when the car is just starting in the morning and heading to work. After it warms up it’s a little less prevalent.

    How did the car react to the delete did you gain power and torque or no?

    • @supermanfuller
      @supermanfuller  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn’t really feel a difference but i can say it helped the air flow paired with my JLT cold air intake i felt a small gain during lower pulls

      You will not notice a difference. You lose torque but gain a few HP in the high range. It hurts you more to delete the CMCV's without boost, you can check out "Four Eyes" he did a video with a before and after Ford Performance intake and the dyno difference which is pretty substantial loss in torque when you delete the plates.

      Do not delete your plates unless you're boosted unless you don't care about mid-range door which is well-needed especially in heavier cars if your boosted go for it if you're in a I say fix them

      If u have a tune with the charge motion delete programed in your tune then it should be good

    Dang. Ford spent money to patent and get this in their engine and you just going to remove it?
    Unless you’re racing at wot all the time… you’re loosing low to mid range torque for your daily driving.

      Or swap them out if your butterflies are broken and you already have a loss of low end torque, because they're broken, and don't want to spend $550 on a whole new intake manifold when you can get these for $290, or make your own delete plates for free. Obviously you have to buy a tune, which is gonna run around $100 (unless you already have a tune and request a re-flash from your tuner.) But for someone who is already dealing with broken butterflies, it's a good mod that will add an extra 10-ish HP up top, but won't have any noticeable difference down low. Also, if you add underdrive pulleys at the same time, it will offset the loss anyway. And you're up around 15 WHP and torque.
