Some of y’all are either A) too privileged about the environment you were raised in to realize or B) too young to realize that coming out was (and in some places still is) HARD and it’s almost demanded to repress those emotions to the point where you just kind of live in the illusion. She didn’t intentionally hurt him and that’s why they still support each other. The amount of shade being thrown at Stephanie is so sad. I thought they were cool people who I respected prior to dating them, and still feel that way after - the fact that the romantic relationship didn’t work out is no reason to lose the friendship.
