We decided to stop drinking and not even keep alcohol in the house. Life is better overall without alcohol. I know my kids will drink one day. With that being said, I hope to have a beer with them one day and show them how to drink responsibly.
i drink about once a month & my tolerance is still just 3 shots. if i take anymore i get on the, "my hands are tingling and i can't stop throwing up" train. safe to say i'm a prouud pot head but that warm tingly feeling is the best "drunk"
I count five empty glasses in front of the asian girl and the blackhaired guy's first visible glass lines up with the asian girls second glass. Asians have problems processing alcohol. Women have problems processing alcohol. And body weight also matters a lot. It takes 6 fast drinks to get me drunk. I'm not a regular drinker but I do weigh about 245. That would put a 150 pound female who wasn't russian under the table. That's so many drinks that I usually pre-load a few shots before going into a bar unless they have a great happy hour deal. Worst ever was a "double" rum ($20) at a concert that did absolutely nothing.
I'm only 5,5 135 lbs and I can drink a over 6 fast drinks and smoke blunts yet still handle myself reasonably well enough. Then again I'm a boozer so I've built quite a tolerance.

If I'm ever at a party I just drink a single beer or 2 throughout the whole night, just taking little sips, or if I'm having really fancy dinner or really rich food just 1 glass of wine if I really feel like it to cut the richness of the food. I think the difference between getting drunk and drinking is when someone is drinking to get drunk, that's not healthy, but when you have a glass or two depending on someone's tolerance, it just gives a small buzz when you're hanging out with friends. But stay true to yourself. I know how it feels to have people around you like that. I used to get panic attacks if someone even mentioned alcohol. Don't let anyone pressure you into doing something you don't wanna do.

i drink about once a month & my tolerance is still just 3 shots. if i take anymore i get on the, "my hands are tingling and i can't stop throwing up" train. safe to say i'm a prouud pot head but that warm tingly feeling is the best "drunk"

It takes 6 fast drinks to get me drunk. I'm not a regular drinker but I do weigh about 245. That would put a 150 pound female who wasn't russian under the table.
That's so many drinks that I usually pre-load a few shots before going into a bar unless they have a great happy hour deal.

I'm only 5,5 135 lbs and I can drink a over 6 fast drinks and smoke blunts yet still handle myself reasonably well enough. Then again I'm a boozer so I've built quite a tolerance.

My family are all alcoholics and because of this I made a choice to not drink or ever get drunk. Only no one ever invites me out because I won't drink with them. It makes me feel bad about trying to stay true to myself.

If I'm ever at a party I just drink a single beer or 2 throughout the whole night, just taking little sips, or if I'm having really fancy dinner or really rich food just 1 glass of wine if I really feel like it to cut the richness of the food. I think the difference between getting drunk and drinking is when someone is drinking to get drunk, that's not healthy, but when you have a glass or two depending on someone's tolerance, it just gives a small buzz when you're hanging out with friends. But stay true to yourself. I know how it feels to have people around you like that. I used to get panic attacks if someone even mentioned alcohol. Don't let anyone pressure you into doing something you don't wanna do.
